1. GC: You will give us the condition of operations at the present time, telling how these operations may proceed to make a success of this well, giving anything of which the operators should be warned, and answer any questions I may ask you regarding same.
2. EC: Yes, we have the operations here. Now, we find these are only needing to be careful in the drilling of the last portions of this before entering the lime in which new hole is to be made. There will be encountered some showings of the first portion of pump lost in hole, and these will cause some troubles in hanging of tools; though when this is reached use more of the acid and this may be taken from the hole without trouble.
3. In the new hole there will be found, when the bottom is reached (where the new hole begins), that the position is some different from that as was encountered before these troubles began. There is some showing of the oil formation, and thirty-one (31) feet should carry through this lime, or to that break where the production will be encountered. Then the taking of the production will only be necessary for the success of operations - that is, handling the conditions as is necessary under the pressure as will be encountered in this depth, the quantity and quality of the production, see?
4. Keep this, then, in the way as given, for success will crown the efforts of those that labor therein, even to that amount as has been given - fifteen hundred for each one dollar invested in these operations. Ready for questions.
5. (Q) How far from where they are at present before they will encounter the pump? (A) They will encounter the pump in the next ten (10) feet.
6. (Q) How much acid should be used? (A) That as has been used for these operations heretofore, see?
7. We are through with this reading.
