Time of Reading 11:30 A. M. ..., Fla.

1. LK: Now you have before you the body of Mrs. [4983] Fla. You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly and tell me the conditions you find at the present time, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatments for the cure and relief of this body.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here of Mrs. [4983]. Now, as we find, conditions are very much disturbed in the physical functionings of the body. These are in many ways of a complicated nature.

3. While the existent conditions are disturbing, by those changes brought through the disturbing forces to the nervous system, taking advantage of these will eventually make for bettered conditions of the body, if there will be the response to these applications such as to create that necessary for the eliminating of the drosses which have been produced by the general distributions of poisons through the shocks to the system.

4. These, as we find, are the conditions that disturb the body in the present: The tendency for the inability of the breathing, and the tendencies of choking are produced by the filling of the membranes through the circulation in larynx and bronchi with refuse from the lymphatic circulation, making a filling up of the throat and, especially, those reactions produced in the effect at the base of tongue. The tendencies are for the breaking of connections between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal nervous plexus, making those sudden contractions in a portion of the system. These reactions may be expected until the system adjusts itself to the over-exercising of the nerve plexus.

5. Then, these are the necessary elements to reduce in the activity of the body:

6. Begin with a massage of heavy salt along the upper portion of the cerebrospinal system, especially over the throat, the whole of the cervical and upper dorsal area. Raise the body in such a position as to make for the more

normal reaction of the respiratory system. This should start the circulation in such a manner as to relieve all portions of the system of the heavy drosses that have accumulated from the coagulations along the functioning of the lymph and emunctory (?) circulations. That this must begin in the superficial circulations is evidenced by the inability of the locomotions in a portion of the system to have the proper circulation through same.

7. When this has shown some reaction, there must be the stimulating of the eliminations in all portions of the system, so that the respiratory system responds through the glands in other portions, that the alimentary canal is opened and that there is response of activity through the kidneys and liver; for all these show throughout the effects of being below normal in the present activity.

8. We would give internally, then, as this, when there is shown some reaction to the activity of the heart's action becoming near normal, when the body has responded and the glands of the epidermis are active: This would be as a dose:

9. To 1 teaspoonful of simple syrup, add: Tincture of Benzoin................1 minim, Rectified Oil of Turp..............1 minim, Canadian Balsam..................1/2 minim, Oil of Eucalyptus................1/2 minim. Put these in the simple syrup in the order given, for their combination makes for a difference in the reaction.

10. This taken internally will aid as an antiseptic, as an expectorant, as an active force on the organs of the digestion; especially through the liver, duodenum and pancreas, making also the tendency to increase eliminations through the activity of the kidneys.

11. If the response will be first to the external, or to those activities in the outer circulations, much more normal conditions should be brought to this body.

12. The massage of the salt should be as warm as may be well taken. Do not rub sufficient to produce an abrasion to the spine, the head or neck, but sufficient to redden the skin and retain the properties necessary to start the circulation that will drive away from the head and throat those shocks to those portions of the system.

13. Ready for questions.

14. (Q) Give in detail the diet. (A) The diet should only be that easily assimilated, especially at first, and that acts rather to eliminate

through the alimentary canal; as milk, milk toast, cereals, fruits and the like. These may be included in the first five or six days. Then, when conditions show improvement, there may be the addition of those that are more strengthening and that supply blood to the body; as fruit juices, meat broths and the like. With the responses, we will find much bettered conditions throughout the body.

15. (Q) What doctor or osteopath would obey these instructions? (A) These treatments may be given without the use of a physician or osteopath. The massage is to be with the heavy salt. The preparation of the properties to be taken internally may be given without any hindrance to any condition that may have been applied; for little of other properties have been given or have been attempted without stimulating either the internal or external circulation.

16. (Q) What was the effect on the body from the electric shock? How can it be corrected? (A) As indicated, this is the first condition to be corrected; for the effect was to produce a coagulation throughout the system of the eliminations effected by the lymph circulation; hence the correcting of the inability of motion through the activity of portions of the system may be done through starting the general respiratory and elimination activities throughout the whole body, and much that has troubled the body in other directions will be able to be eliminated from the system. Do this that we have given, and you will find a response - unless other conditions arise that are not apparent in the present.
