1. EC: Yes, we have the body [4986]. Now, we find there are with the physical forces of this body those conditions as are produced by disturbances in the system that are of such a nature as to be hidden, in a manner, or the effects of the cause belie the result in the functioning of the system. With the correction of these conditions, we would find an entirely different reaction - and a near normal one, with this body of [4986].

2. These, then, are the conditions as we find them:

3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this above normal in some respects and below normal in other respects, produced by conditions as have been existent in system and an unbalancing of the conditions as bring about the proper metabolism or coordination in distribution of forces as are to replenish used conditions in the system. This condition, with definite subluxations in the system - are the causes of the greater disturbances.

4. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, as may be seen then, there are those conditions existent wherein the body reacts improperly to conditions as are in the manner INDICATED in the system through those subluxations, or those pressures as are PRODUCED IN system that bring about disturbances - as are seen in the sensory organism. This apparently would be unreasonable to some, yet these conditions corrected we will find how that the changes will come about in this portion of the body. These exist, as we find, specific, in coccyx and in sacral - while there are SYMPATHETIC reactions in the lower dorsal and lower cervical, as well as natural for those centers as show their connection direct with the brain forces, through the 2nd and 3rd cervical.

5. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, these show the disturbances as are created in the system in the various ways and manners that the system is affected at times, through the attempt of the system to adjust itself - going along for a time without much trouble, then the condition

with the eyes, the throat, bronchials, stomach, and the digestive system, to say nothing of the effect as is produced at times in the lower hepatic circulation. These, then, are as HIGH POINTS in the system attempting to ADJUST itself, and the functioning of the organs coming under the direct reaction of these brings about the distress.

6. To remove these conditions and to bring near normal forces for this body - we would apply, at least twice EACH week - for three to four weeks - those of mud (preferably those of the antiphlogistian nature) ground mud - to the lower portion of the spine and sacral region; and THEN applying heat - osteopathically, under three to five treatments, make adjustments - that we may relieve the stress in system, see? in these specific centers.

7. Then we would begin the GENERAL treatment osteopathically and electrically to change the vibratory forces in the body. That of the gentle massage and GENERAL massage, that the eliminations may be set up properly and that the blood supply may be carried to the proper distribution of forces, as will rebuild and as will carry out the proper eliminations in their proper channels and directions; applying the electric forces - as will be seen in that of the ULTRA Violet Ray - along the spine.

8. Rest, occasionally, will be well during these treatments - and we will find in three to four months the body near normal.

9. The diet during these periods should consist principally of those that tend toward that of the alkalin reaction. While acids may be taken, provided they are of the proper reaction for the body - especially those as pertain to MEATS should be eliminated from the system. Oils and fats that make or produce the greater amount of carbohydrate forces as will be necessary for replenishing in some directions may be distributed THROUGHOUT in the diet, but not too much at once. The action of alcoholic forces for the body, provided they do not produce the pressure in the blood supply. These would be PREFERABLE, however, after the system has begun to bring near the proper eliminations - else the condition in heart's forces and actions would be bad.

10. Following these conditions, we will find near normal forces for this body. Do that. We are through for the present. Copy to Cayce Hospital
