1. EC: We have the body here, Dr. [4993]. Now, we find there are those conditions as cause distress and uneasiness with the physical functioning and physical forces of this body, and these may be corrected in such a way and manner as that the body may function the near normal in this present experience, and give much through the applications of self for others.
2. These conditions, as we find, have to do with specific conditions existent in portions of the body, and the effect that these conditions produce on the system, in that of the effect to the body functioning.
3. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, Dr. [4993] we are speaking of. First:
4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY OF THE BODY, this, we find, shows the effect of an improper elimination, or eliminations not coordinating one with another, so that there are often drosses left in body to the extent that, with pressure and improper distributing centers of the physical forces are so hindered as to cause distresses in the functioning of the organs of the circulation itself. Not organic disturbance, but the manner of its functioning, even as the pressure as is produced in circulation. This continuing in such conditions may easily be seen would cause or produce organic conditions in the functioning of the organs, or organ itself, so disturbed.
5. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, here we find what may JUSTLY be termed the cause or the seat of the trouble. The conditions as exist in the cerebrospinal system itself are of such nature that the resultant impulses from this, aided and abetted by the conditions produced from these improper incentives to the functioning organs of elimination, or assimilation, gradually have builded in the system those existent conditions. The natural position or posture that has so often been assumed by body, under the various strains the body has labored at times, add also - or have added to
4993-1 Page 2
the condition and assisted in bringing about that of the troublesome effects for the body. Those conditions, then, as exist in the 9th and 11th vertebrae, those existent in the 2nd and 3rd dorsal center, and in the lower portion of the cervical plexus, these are the centers radiating from same, and improper reaction through the nerve supplies to the organs as are assisted in the functioning of same. Hence digestive functioning has been disturbed. Pressure in the region of the plexus of the 2nd and 3rd dorsal plexus has assisted that of the circulation, aided by the drosses as left in system and of the conditions existent in general over body, as to produce, as has been termed, high blood pressure. This not always the same. Also we find that in the effect produced in this is a tendency, from the conditions existent, of the mucus membranes of the system, in the bronchials, throat and nasal cavities, to at times cause disturbance. This more, as may be seen, of a reflex nature, yet in their cycle of functioning, or taking from the system that necessary for the replenishing of itself, brings about conditions when congestion arises, or the body particularly under strain troublesome, or disturbances that become troublesome for the body.
6. THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS OF THE SYSTEM are necessarily under the stress and strain of these conditions. All of these show the effect of same, particularly those of the hepatic circulation, or the liver and the kidneys both. Not only from the effect of the disturbance of improper elimination (and hence a disturbance in circulation), but of the functioning organs themselves attempting to meet the needs of the conditions. Not that the body is under any PARTICULAR stress, other than this continued overtaxation with the existent conditions.
7. To meet the needs, then, of these conditions, we would first, through OSTEOPATHIC manipulation - not chiropractic, not that of the neuropathic, but OSTEOPATHIC manipulation - correct those conditions existent in the cerebrospinal centers as indicated, and with that of the watching of the diet that there is not created an overtaxation to the system to adjust itself to the extra eliminations as are to be set up, until a normalcy may be brought about, and adding to same those vibrations as will be found in the Radio-Active Appliance. See? That of the NORMAL vibration to assist the body to bring back its normal elimination and it normal activity. These will be brought about by these corrections and by the use of the Radio Appliance. These will bring this correction. Use this appliance at least thirty to sixty minutes each day. Well that the body rest during its
4993-1 Page 3
working hours for fifteen to thirty minutes each day, lying prone. At such time the appliance would also be helpful, equalizing this whole nerve tension.
8. (Q) What specific diet would be suggested? (A) Those that do not carry any of the matters hard to digest. Little of the stimulants, yet coffee may be taken in moderation. Preferably, though, milk or its products. Whole wheat breads, little of the white breads. Much of the vegetables, especially of those carrying nerve energy and that are of the ALKALIN PRODUCING in system. Little or no meats. Only fish or fowl would we use, yet the JUICES or broths may be taken for the STRENGTHENING necessary for the body. Keeping eliminations near normal. We are through for the present.
