1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [5046].
3. As we find, there are disturbances that prevent the better physical functioning of the body. These, as we find, are both pathological and psychological. True, there are disturbances in the soft tissue of the face, head and throat; that forms a catarrhal condition, causing a great deal of anxiety for the body, and with the tendency for the inflammation in the form of mucous that goes into the stomach it is gradually upsetting the digestive system, changing the combination of the lactic and gastric flows of the stomach, and through the jejunum and duodenum.
4. Unless there are precautions taken, we may have conditions in the digestive system that will be hard to deal with.
5. The psychological condition comes from the effect that is produced upon the sympathetic nervous system, from conditions and impressions that are received through the sensory system, which we find indicated when the body becomes so sensitive as to become ill, even from people or individuals that may come into the presence of the body.
6. These oft tend to aggravate the physical conditions and this upsets all of the system that is controlled more or less by the activity of the sympathetic nervous system. These put the body into the periods of depression; at times anger.
7. Hence the secretions that are the natural results of such conditions, producing greater disorder in the assimilating system of the body. Thus the liver, kidneys and spleen are
5046-1 Page 2
involved in the conditions, especially the spleen.
8. As we find, in making the administrations, it would be well for the body to be in more pleasant surroundings. Any tendency for fog, mist and rain, is aggravating to the conditions, but greater still is the necessity for the body to be where the environs and the activities are more congenial, or where the body physically may become so active in building up resistance that the body may within itself control the effects produced by environment for the body.
9. Replace animosities, hates and fears with faith, hope, longsuffering, patience and with the purposes not merely of self, but of self applying the principles of the Christ-Consciousness.
10. There is no use beginning the mechanical applications for the removal of the sinus and the antrum disorder or the digestive disorder, unless the mental attitude is changed first.
11. Have osteopathic relaxing treatments, particularly throughout the cervical and upper dorsal areas and for setting up better eliminations through the activity of the liver and gall duct and kidneys.
12. About twice a week for twenty minutes each time, have the short wave electrical treatments, the short wave to be about three amperes in strength. This should be applied in the areas of the brachial center particularly, and at times along the upper dorsal and neck, but apply it in the brachial centers particularly. This will aid in setting up drainages.
13. Thus the necessity for keeping the eliminations better.
14. Do these.
15. Do first things first, and we will bring better conditions for this body.
16. Ready for questions.
17. (Q) What foods should be stressed and which avoided? (A) Alkaline-producing foods, for acids do arise from the combination of foods, causing a great distress. These are not to be stressed: do not combine large amounts of starches or whole grain cereals with citrus fruits. Do take these, but do not combine. It is rather the combination to beware of. Do not take citrus fruits and whole grain cereals in the same meal. Don't take the white of egg when eggs are taken. Bacon, very crisp, may be taken, but no other forms of hog meat. Fish, fowl and lamb may be taken, but preferably not fried, rather broiled, roasted or the like. Take fresh green vegetables often. Include raw vegetables prepared with gelatin often.
18. (Q) Is there any further mental and spiritual advice?
5046-1 Page 3
(A) As indicated, follow through. Do the first things first. Ye may not control the emotions of the body, save through a spiritual application of the truths as have been indicated. The fruits of the activity of the spiritual are: Patience, love, gentleness and kindness. Cultivate these, and follow them closely with the tenets and truth as given by the Prince of Peace if you would have harmony in the spiritual and mental life.
