1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces, giving the conditions that are as personalities, latent and exhibited, in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth's plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, and that to which it may attain and how. You will answer the questions as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, yes we are given the records here of that entity now known as or called [5148].

3. In giving the interpretation of the records here, there are those experiences in the earth which stand out beyond others, not beyond the present which may be attained, but beyond some others. These may answer questions for some, as to why individuals apparently are so far advanced in one experience and then fail so miserably in others. Self enters in and is ever present. For there is continually, as is set forth in the admonitions of the lawgiver, set before thee today, now and every day good, evil, life and death. Choose thou.

4. Consider for the moment many, as we are given the lessons of how that God Himself chose Saul as a goodly king, head and shoulders above his fellow men, his countenance that was indeed kingly and gifted with prophecy; and yet he allowed himself, because of an exalted physical position to forget his humbleness before God, even as there had been in his experiences in the earth before, in those days as a son of Adam [Seth] who had been given that privilege of being the channel through which the chosen of the peoples were to be Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. [See 221-2 on 1/5/24 which seems

5148-2 Page 2

to imply that Mr. [221] had been Saul.]

5. In analyzing then, the records as we have here, [5148], we would give:

6. Beware that material or vain things may not bring to thee forgetfulness of who is thy redeemer, from whence cometh the voice which is deep within; that will enable thee in thy composition of life to help others. For ye should write, that there may be, as ye speak to thy fellow man, that ability to cause the spirit to be quickened as individuals live that experience ye may relate or whatever may be the chosen subject.

7. Then, in every one of the records, forget not God. For ye may write even that which may far surpass "cabbages are beautiful", for this is a wonderful experience yet lacking in that fact that God is left out, and love, love which is beyond material things.

8. This ye have the ability to do, to WRITE such stories, books, articles; include in same oft those varying moods as may be brought into an experience of the individual; whether music, nature, night, sunrise, sunset, aloneness; and those things especially of pure water, the mother of creation, for this is the beginning through which all matter which takes material form one day, some day, somewhere has passed. Hence the earth and man and matter all are three-quarters or more water, H2O. These are well, and that is a beautiful book: "H2O".

9. In those suggestions which may be given: Study self, picture self, for ye are a pattern; as will be indicated in the varied experiences in the earth.

10. From the astrological angle, little save the spiritual urge may be gained. For the personality and individuality entwine, and yet there are periods and moods that you find in self when your personality and individuality are combative rather than helpful to one another. This is from experiences in the earth.

11. Thus, as we find, Uranus and Venus with Jupiter are those influences; music, beauty, harmony at times and then, as indicated in Uranus the extremes, and the extremes of beauty and harmony "slap-dab", all of those which would become a daub upon thine own better consciousness, thine own better self. These are part of the experience, but be warned when such occur, take a walk, get alone with nature in the yard and ye will come back again singing to the work of warning thy brethren.

12. What is needed most in the earth today? That the sons of men be warned that the day of the Lord is near at hand, and that those who have been and are unfaithful must meet

5148-2 Page 3

themselves in those things which come to pass in their experience.

13. In thy activities, then, analyze first self, not merely by saying or thinking "This is a good theory, this is a bad example, this is a good example of what I feel," but write your own. Put down: Physical, Mental and Spiritual. Under each put what is thy ideal, spiritual. For as indicated, from the basic principle; first: "H2O", two elements not of material gases, but of air, of the divine itself, combined to form what ye call water.

14. What is thy ideal God as manifested in the Son through the Holy Ghost? Just plain self, or some other ideal? Or under mental would you write this, that or the other which is the approach to spiritual or mental? For as ye write ye will find that ye are measuring body, mind and soul; spirit, purpose, the result. God, the Son, the Holy Ghost, the Holy Spirit. What is the ideal in the material? To have all the pleasure alone? Or that through spirit, through mind, ye may give the closer concept through experience? For matter, mind, body, learns only through experience. It may be mental, it may be spiritual, but they learn only by experience.

15. So study thyself and then set about to use those experiences to depict, to picture, to word the emotions, mental, spiritual and material, that may be expressed in activities of individuals in their relationships between groups, individuals, nations. For what ye may yet pen may become not just a best seller, but an international best seller.

16. As to the experiences, then, in the earth; as has been indicated, there is quite a variation in those places and periods when the entity has manifested in the earth. Consequently, there are variations in Uranus, Jupiter, Venus; not all good, not all bad, but ever is that same admonition applicable: "Today, there is set before thee."

17. Before this we find the entity was in the land of the present nativity during those periods of the early settling in the land, when there were those tenets and those principles of "yea shall be yea, and nay shall be nay." The entity then was in those activities which brought joy to many peoples through the lessons given in using nature and nature's activity as to the lessons for the young, as well as for those who were mothers and fathers, using nature as the lessons; in the name then Jane Ayrs.

18. In the experience the entity gained and finds latent and manifested in self the reserve at times, and as indicated, from the experience before, at times ye wish ye hadn't said

5148-2 Page 4

quite so much.

19. Before that we find the entity was in those periods when there were those building-ups and tearing-downs, just after the crucifixion of the Son of man, the Savior.

20. In those periods when there were those hired mourners, at that period when the brother of Mary and Martha had been raised, the entity heard and saw the throngs, the questions, the unusual activities, but was not touched until such had been the activity in the life, the experience of the Master himself, not four days but after three days coming forth himself from the tomb.

21. These brought to the entity the desire to depict, to picture, to tell the story of what the entity had seen and something of what it had meant when she had heard Lazarus come forth. It carries with same a power that names imply, a power within themselves. These the entity did very well in keeping records then for those who became the ministers, those who became the teachers throughout the length and breadth of the land, though the entity itself was not wholly of the faith of the Jews. For the entity had spent much of its time in Samaria, but was of those known as the Essenes.

22. The name then was Jeauor.

23. Before that we find the entity was in the camps of those who were among those peoples as they journeyed back and forth from east to west, from the land of Saad or India to the land of Ra-Ta or Egypt.

24. The entity was one who made for entertainments in the places and periods where there were those various stops.

25. Thus those innate influences of dress, of a look, of certain activities which may bear upon those who are listeners, or those who are speakers in any performance or activity.

26. Thus, to a sort of music, that as of the camel's bell or of the night, with the stars, brings not weird, but harmonious influences; yet carrying something of the lack of light, with the stronger desire for awakening. For as nature itself opens in the day, it spreads out for life, in the night it opens its petals, it bursts its bonds from the shell or from the plant.

27. In the experience the entity was in the name Sheleh and made for gains and losses, and yet brings with same that of an exaggeration from one period to another. Temper these with mercy and judgment and ye may use them as ye write.

28. Before that we find the great awakening of the entity was in the land of the Egyptians, now known, then in the companionship of one of those of the judges or of the counselors to the king. The entity through those

5148-2 Page 5

associations learned much of those things which brought about the dissension when banishment occurred.

29. The entity's companion was the same as in the present. The entity learned much when there was the returning of the Priest owing to turmoils; and gained the greater lesson in how body and mind were prepared for the bringing forth of the better judgments, the better activities, the necessary training for motherhood, the counsels later as to those activities which brought homes; though the entity through its experience was rather inclined to that which had been the judgment of the universal home, rather than individual.

30. As to the abilities of the entity, then, that to which it may attain and how, first:

31. As indicated, do analyze self, do find thy own relationships to thine own ideals. Know what ye use as thy measuring stick and then apply it in that ye may write, in the measure ye give to thy composition of music, but do write.

32. Ready for questions.

33. (Q) What was the name in Egypt? (A) Is-Oneo.

34. (Q) Please give me guidance as to my writing, which direction should it take? Please outline a method that will help in speed and facility. (A) As has been indicated.

35. (Q) Am I scattering my energies too much? How can I narrow my interests? (A) As has been indicated, making thy purposes and His purposes one.

36. (Q) What place should I give to the study of music? (A) As it is a part of thy nature, as has been indicated, it should ever have its place in thy activity. Well if the entity would set so much time for recreation, so much time for preparation, so much time for edification, so much time to rest.

37. (Q) Am I gaining or losing by the close associations of friendships at the present time? (A) As ye are impressing others, gaining; as ye are impressed, losing. This doesn't answer you, but it puts you on your guard; for it has been indicated how ye may measure up to make each individual more worth while.

38. (Q) I feel in myself a conflict of personality. How can I integrate in order to accomplish more? (A) Has this just not been indicated as to how and why and what to do about it? Better commence!

39. (Q) When, where and how have I been associated in the past with my husband [5147], and how can I best help him in

5148-2 Page 6

the present? (A) As has been indicated, in Egypt and these are well. You're a complement one to the other; even when ye scrap you're a complement.

40. (Q) With my son [P...]? (A) In the experience before this, as well as in the Holy Land. These ye sometimes find questioning, and at others you're very sure. So long as ye keep that ye learned in that sound "Lazarus, come forth! and he came forth." So may the words of truth come to thee as ye put the more trust in Him.

41. We are through. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file " for indexing (Mr. [5147]'s Life Reading appointment, just in case we can't get to it sooner, is being made for January 6, 1945, 10:30 to 11:30 A.M. Ask him to please submit his questions so we may have them on hand. Edna Ferber's SO BIG, in which appears the statement, "Cabbages are beautiful." Under separate cover I am sending to you a copy of our Bible minutes on the Book of Genesis which will give you some idea of the spiritual interpretation of water. GD.)
