1. GC: You will give the relations of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, isn't very far from where this body will be born the next time at Channing. Bloomington, Nebraska, June 22, 1892, [5149], nee [5149].
3. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [5149].
4. While viewing, as a composite, the activities of the entity in the earth and those periods of sojourn in the interims, the entity in the present experience, has allowed itself by circumstances to be frustrated from those urges which are latent and manifest in the personality or individuality of the entity.
5. In these frustrations there are latent abilities. For here is an entity unusual in capabilities and in the things it would innately desire to have been; yet these need not cause the entity to despair. For using those abilities in hand, applying self, much of that latent talent and the latent abilities may yet be expressed or manifested in such measures or manners as to bring a great deal of satisfaction, as well as being a channel through which the entity may aid many.
6. The desires of dramatic expression are indicated, and for the entity being innately dramatic about most everything it visualizes, picturizes of what it would like to have been.
5149-1 Page 2
7. For the entity through many of the experiences in the earth has been among the very unusual. Those things which pertain to mysticism or the unusual things or happenings of peoples, and the use of "charms", of those elements which may affect the sensitiveness of an individual entity, have always interested the entity.
8. The depths of mind, conscious, subconscious, superconscious, have ever been of interest. And the lack of having the full expression of self has brought to the entity at times great disappointments and at others there has come with its associations with books, with peoples and varied circumstances, some uplifting periods of activities that have oft raised the hopes of this entity.
9. In astrological parlance, then, Uranus, Neptune, Venus, Jupiter have been and are the greater influences from the individuality or the soul experience of the entity. Thus, as indicated, the tend or trend of mysticism, the love of conversation, those unusual positions, even those which at times might be questioned by some who have been and are the associates of the entity in the present. And yet to the entity it is lack of understanding or interpretation.
10. Then to the entity we would counsel thus: Learn the lesson of the interpreting of the dimensions of the earth, or that the three-dimensions in the mind may be seven, and in spirit eleven and twelve and twenty-two. These, then, are encompassed in the knowledge and the understanding: "The Lord thy God is one Lord."
11. All that is, then, which comes to materiality is of the one source. Man is made a little lower than the angels, and yet with the ability of choice, and thus may turn those conditions or positions of associations into hell or heaven, according to the use of same.
12. Those who seek gratification of appetites, gratification of self, gratification for things to change, as it were, their environments, make, dig pits that may become the tortures of the damned.
13. Those who seek to emulate love, patience, kindness, build to themselves peace and harmony in an earthly experience. This, ye have experienced in greater, lesser degree in varied associations; which has fit the entity, in the experience in the present. So that if it will apply itself in or to writing, it may depict those terms, those satisfactions in the lives, in the activities of its "children of the mind" in a book, or in books or stories. These the entity should encourage in self.
14. Write, yes, even though never a word were published, though they may be. If the entity does apply itself, it
5149-1 Page 3
will give an outlet for the entity's abilities to be dramatic, to be a mystic, to give counsel, to live in those varied stages of that which touches into this or that phase of the consciousness of the individuals.
15. Do that.
16. As to the appearances in the earth, these, as may be gathered from that indicated, have been quite varied. Not all may be given here, but the pattern of that which is, has been and may be, the awareness of the individual. Use them as stepping-stones for self becoming a greater channel of blessing and understanding to others.
17. Before this we find the entity was in the land of the present nativity when there were those journeyings of groups of peoples from the east to the west because of gold. The entity was among those who started and, because of hindrances in crossing streams, losing of the ways in which transportation would be carried on, settled in the land near to where the entity finds itself engaged in cultural pursuits for others in the present. [Res. Wyoming]
18. The entity there made for picturing the activities as with nature itself, and thus forest and field, animals in the raw nature's activities dealing with men and with women, become a latent power of thought within the entity's experience.
19. In the name then Margaret Nelson, the entity gained; for though there came periods of activities in which loneliness and lack of opportunities prevented the carrying out of many of the dreams of the entity, it was ever the helper. The entity gained in pursuit of just being a home builder.
20. Before that we find the entity was in the French land during those early periods when the courtesan was an accepted activity in the courts and among those who were in authority or power. The entity was one so affected by those activities (though not in fact a courtesan herself, yet) in that atmosphere of intrigue, of the gratifying of appetites in making for the activities for the satisfying of things for the moment. These were portions of the entity's experience as Marcelleus.
21. In the experience the entity sought quiet and there was none. The entity sought for its companionship with one in lonely places, there was no such. These become parts of the longings, as well as those wonderments to the entity in the present.
22. Before that we find the entity was in the Persian land during those periods when there were those activities in the "city in the hills and the plains". The entity then was a soothsayer in the courts of Croesus and a student of the

mysteries of the east and of the sands, and the relationships of stars with the earth. For all, as the entity held and yet fully not interpreted but in the present finds, are of one source; and that which forms brilliancy of the star, in the morning star, is that which also may be the dullness as from the earth itself, but reflecting that which is the source of light shines out to others.
23. So may there be the reflection of light as it may be interpreted in the life of the entity itself in the present. Jesus, the Christ is the light of the world. As ye reflect His tenets, His truths in thy relationships to thy fellow man, ye shine out as a star in the crown of thy Master, thy Lord, thy Brother.
24. Be patient, even as ye were then; as Shamgar.
25. Before that we find the entity was in the Egyptian land during those periods when there were those regenerations being brought about in the activities in the Temple of Sacrifice and the Temple Beautiful, in those activities set apart by the Priest Ra Ta. In those experiences the entity was a student from the natives who had seen dreams of position and power, and with these tenets and truths did the entity rise to be a teacher among the teachers of the peoples in that period of activity, passing through the action and office of the Temple of Sacrifice as well as Temple Beautiful; in the name then Ionauela.
26. As to the abilities of the entity, then, that to which it may attain, and how: These are limited only to thine sincerity of purpose and the ideals which are chosen.
27. Do write: both right as well as write. In these things ye may excel.
28. Ready for questions.
29. (Q) Please give me guidance for developing a better understanding of life in general. (A) As has been indicated, choose thou the light, follow thou in His path. This is the way which leads to peace and harmony in the earth, glory in the worlds to come.
30. (Q) Am I ready to benefit by any certain line of thought, or should I keep on reading whatever comes my way? (A) As has just been indicated, reading and writing. Do begin to write. Let those latent urges for the spectacular, for the dramatic, for mysticism terminate in the expression of the Christ-consciousness. For the mysteries of the gospels of Christ are as great a mystery as life itself. For it is not by chance that any individual soul enters, but that God hath need of thee at this time. They, then, who begin to pity themselves or wonder what it is all about, lose the real purpose of love: that ye may make manifest
5149-1 Page 5
the love He hath chosen to give thee.
31. (Q) How may I make my home life and my library work more efficient? (A) Study to show thyself approved unto the ideals. Apply those principles in thy library work and in the home. For ye built homes and ye know how. Shut self out, close others in; that they too, may know the beauty of love made manifest.
