Time of Reading Set bet. 3:30 to 4:30 P. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Conn.
1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. As we find, there are disturbances which cause at times a great deal of anxiety to the body.
3. The greater distress arises from a disturbance in the gall duct area. While there is not what would be termed gallstones, there is sediment in the gall ducts and in the gall bladder. These vary as to the causes of the indigestion, the lack of proper assimilation, and these cause the tiredness in the limbs, fatigue. The conditions which are brought about by exertion at times overtax the heart. For, with the circulation between heart and liver, there is from this lack of activity an expanding of the thrombose circulation and this gives the weakness in the heart areas.
4. As we find, also there is in the ascending colon and a portion of the transverse a plethora. This causes the slowing of the circulation in that area, and cold spots will be found on the body in the caecum area.
5. As we find, first we would have a colonic irrigation very slowly given, body temperature, with a good antiseptic solution. We would stir in same Petrolagar, the alkaline type. In the gallon of water which would be used, we would put at least half a pint of Petrolagar but it will necessarily be kept stirred as it is injected.
6. After this, rest about two days, then have three days in succession for a week, one hour each day, the Castor Oil Packs over the gall duct and liver area and extend same also over the caecum area. Use several thicknesses of flannel saturated with Castor Oil, applied to the body warm and when

covered with an oil cloth to prevent soiling of linen, apply electric pad. Let it heat as long as it will without causing too great a discomfort. Keep on for an hour. Then remove and sponge off the area with a mild soda solution and give the area a very gentle massage.
7. Do this for three days and then take, on the fourth day, at least two tablespoonfuls of Olive Oil.
8. Then have, the next day or the next, another thorough colonic irrigation.
9. These, as we find would be followed with the osteopathic relaxing treatments, not stimulating, but relaxing, especially from the 3rd and 4th dorsal to the end of the spine. have at least twelve such treatments. If there are indications in the second of the colonics of the presence of a great amount of mucous, do after the sixth osteopathic treatment have another colonic.
10. Then in the diets for the body: Not too much potatoes, white bread or other starchy foods. A great deal of citrus fruits, other fruits save raw apples, but do have these baked, raw vegetables and include an extra amount of watercress and carrots, celery, lettuce in the diet. Prepare these oft with gelatin. These, with not too great a quantity of meats, no heavy meats as steak or roast beef or ham, but fish, fowl and lamb may be taken, but not fried and we will find we will make nearer to the normal conditions for this body.
11. Ready for questions.
12. (Q) Is smoking harmful? (A) Not in moderation.
13. (Q) What is the cause of the pains at the back of the neck? (A) From those conditions in colon. Do these things as indicated, we will have better conditions for this body.
14. We are through with this reading.
