1. GC: You will give the relations of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces, giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain and how. You will answer the questions as I ask them.
2. EC: Yes, yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [5242].
3. In giving an interpretation of the records of this entity, we find here a very unusual use of abilities of the entity in its associations with others.
4. For, we find one gifted with abilities in many directions, and yet those in which it may excel the most have been given little attention as yet, as to those abilities latent and manifested. For the entity will work harmoniously with any sort of a group to which it may be assigned, provided details are as equally distributed among helpers.
5. Individual activities may be in two, yea, three distinct abilities which may be a part of the experience.
6. The entity is one who naturally likes to be alone, oft considered a bit strange but almost a genius and might become so, if there were those definite forms taken for the individual entity to give full expression to those abilities which are latent and manifested.
7. The entity finds literature most interesting. The entity finds self apparently, from others' viewpoint, an uncongenial individual, losing itself in groups, or when the entity enters, even though they may be a group of friends, they gradually disperse, which has given the entity often the inclination towards an inferiority complex and yet, as a color artist or in the ability of depicting nature, few may excel the entity. For these may be as well executed by the
5242-1 Page 2
entity as by Rosa Benet [Bonheur?].
8. For the natural instinct, with the study and the environ, with the balance which is necessary to be kept for the preparation in this, the entity will find quite an outlet for its abilities, and find among the first activities one who may be the companion through this particular experience. And if there is to be the wedded life, let it be set to be by the time the entity is twenty-seven and a half years old.
9. As to the activities which would be judged from the astrological, we find these quite at variance one with another. At times, much of this we may see by the closer analysis of the latent characteristics, which causes the entity to withdraw so from others, but in the application of self in art, in composition, in picturization, may the entity find an outlet worthy of its own self, as well as for others.
10. As to the appearances in the earth, while all of these may not be given, these indicate the pattern in which the entity will find its interest:
11. Before this the entity was in the land of the present nativity when there were those who were gifted in expressions, and the entity gave itself towards free-hand drawing. In the name then John Cushi.
12. In the experience the entity was an instructor, and yet losing its hold on self because of confusion, because of great criticism by others.
13. Learn, the first primary success which is worthy of emulating is worthy of being suffered for. For it is the application of the abilities which will draw the entity closer and closer to the activities which are influenced by the things indicated.
14. Before that we find the entity was in the portion of the Russian land now a part of what is called the Ukrainian land.
15. The entity then was among those who first gave those instructions in what would be termed flat drawing, and it was of the subject "Lazareth, come forth!" This still may be seen in some of the caves where the earlier portions of the Christians worshipped, in those early periods when all portions of the country were under the stresses by those in authority in Rome and in other places stressing the suppression of the tenets or truths of that day.
16. This should be a subject for the entity which will enable those who may be said to be judges to judge whether there are not those factors to make a great artist indeed. In the name then Zufortz.
17. Before that we find the entity was in the Egyptian land
5242-1 Page 3
when there were those choosings of individuals in definite service or preparations of same being made, and this choice of reaction of the entity in the Temple Beautiful. These bring to the entity those abilities which are latent and manifested, those which would aid the entity when it begins to choose or to analyze that to which it would devote its own experience which brings to the entity gratification. They who would gain the greater will suffer the more. Those who would attain to a more perfect understanding of the true relationships of an individual to creative forces and using of same constructively, recognize the unfoldment of the mind through the experiences.
18. As to the abilities of the entity, then, in the present, that to which it may attain and how:
19. First apply self in the study of relationships to other peoples, as in, first: Psychology studies, and then more along those lines of those things indicated which may be part of the records of the entity itself. Overcome timidity by having something particular to say. Many individuals talk without saying anything; that is, constructive, or that which has even meaning, but to the entity they are giving expression of self. There is given only two eyes, two ears. We should hear and see twice, yes, four times as much as we say, yet ye are gifted in the depicting such in a way and manner that ye may be known among the initiates in their choice of associates; never boastful, never attempting to be just as the other boys and do what people say because ye may be thought different of. Dare to be different and you'll find if ye will begin with Deuteronomy 30; Exodus 19:5, you will know the reasons deep within self.
20. Ready for questions.
21. (Q) Should I join the Navy and stay where I am, or wait to be drafted into the Army? (A) Join Navy if ye can stay where you are. Be sure you can before you do.
22. (Q) Do you advise doing either? (A) Joining the Navy, you may be sent to give the basic training for an artist.
23. (Q) What college would afford me the best opportunity? (A) This would be, as we find, the Philadelphia School.
24. (Q) What location would offer best vibrations for me and my work? (A) Philadelphia, Paris, Florence, these are the best.
25. (Q) Why do I feel that I should get directions from within, as well as others, and not have to read or study books? (A) Read the information which has been indicated, as to what has been the experience in others, and read especially
5242-1 Page 4
Deuteronomy 30, after having analyzed Exodus 19:5. You should know why.
