1. GC: You will give the relations of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [5265], born May 2, 1886 in New York City.

3. In giving the interpretations of the records, these we find quite unusual, quite worth while, and yet will demand, if there will be the complete expression, some real disappointments to the entity; if there are those naive and subtle conditions, and there is lack in a general manner of appreciation of the abilities of the entity in some circles, and the nature of the entity tends to turn its conscious, awaking, seeking appreciations to those influences that are not always in keeping with the true light and life of the world.

4. To be sure, all power is of a first cause, but that light which was the light of the world from the beginning is crystallized in the entity known as Jesus of Nazareth, who passeth by today for thee, and unless ye take hold upon Him, ye must falter. To be sure, those instructions as to the activities physical and mental are well, but these should be tempered in their own environ. For the vibrations about the entity is the occidental make for demands upon the entity that the beauty, the harmony which should be the basis of the entity's activity is shattered, and it brings seeking for respite where there really is none.

5. In music and art should the entity excel, and the abilities of the entity in these directions are not wholly

5265-1 Page 2

appreciated. Thus there should be the turning within, with the relying upon Him, who is able to supply the needs of the spiritual, the mental and material things. For the earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof, the cattle on the hills, the silver and the gold, and only in Him may ye find that full, complete independence, which is necessary in the experience of the entity if it would succeed.

6. While the activities of the life the entity may know all of same, the actual application should never touch the entity in the menial activities, but those as to the soul and purpose, and unless there is the union of ideas, and of ideals, there can be no harmony.

7. Thus, apply self in the spiritual and mental things, that the material expression in the music may find that which may be as from the spheres, but let thy prayer ever be, "Lord, let me be the channel for supplying that in the experiences of those with whom I come in contact, and for the needs of man at this particular period; that they may know Thee better through the things which they have suffered and do suffer. May they purify their souls, that they may appear before the throne of grace in the seeking. Let me, O God, in my music, in my heart, give that which is as helpfulness to that in the lives of others."

8. As to the experiences of the entity in the earth, these have been quite varied, and while not all may be given, these indicate the pattern. Some have been very quick returning of the activities, others have been long drawn out, as it were, or rest periods, meditating periods for the soul of the entity. For it is a sensitive individual entity, though the personality and the individuality is at times very far from being one.

9. Before this, we find the entity was in the land of the entity's present nativity, but in quite another period or quite another environ. For, during those periods when there were the settlings in what is now Alabama, Louisiana, from those in positions or power in France following the fall of Napoleon, the entity was then a daughter, among the daughters of Ney.

10. The entity found little of help in the land of the sojourn, hoping through the periods of the activities to know more of the environ the entity heard spoken of by its mother, its associates, its brother, and thus the longing. When the periods for the return came about the entity sought to return, but reached not the lands it sought to become a part of. These in the later experiences brought disappointments. These brought violent outbursts of being unfair to nature.

5265-1 Page 3

11. This too, may bring into the experience of the entity those outbursts of unfairness to the efforts which may be put forth by the entity in behalf of those surrounding same. For the seed ye sow, ye must reap.

12. Let thy trust, then, be in those experiences given in the tenets of Him, who is the way and the life: "Love me, you will keep my commandments, and my commandments are not grievous. Love thy Lord, with all thy heart, thy mind, thy body, and thy neighbor as thyself."

13. Be patient.

14. Before that we find the entity was in the activities of the French land during the very early portions of the activities of Cardinal Richilieu. The entity then was an associate, yes even a companion through the activities of the Cardinal when questionings arose, and yet the abilities of the entity to entertain, to make for activities in Court and in the lives of those whom the entity met, brought position because of that which the entity gave in music, in art, and many were those who in those periods gathered to hear the Countess Iascana make for the blessings to the church, the blessings to individuals, those places for those in authority in the land.

15. That experience has brought a double meaning in the entity's experience in the present - the abilities in music, in art, in entertainment, and yet deep within self a doubting of those closest to the entity in relationships with others.

16. Before that, we find the entity was in the Egyptian land during those periods in the establishing of the Temple of Sacrifice and the Temple Beautiful. Here we find the entity working very close with the Priest in counseling, of preparation and of making for beauty and harmony in the lives of peoples who were drawn to the various services for which individuals were prepared through those offices. These made for periods of real service, in the activities of the Temple of sacrifice a counselor, as a director, as a helper and as a helpmate to the Priest. In the activities in the Temple Beautiful, the counsel with those who served in the position as counselors or as those who instructed the various groups there. These the entity advised, in the name Marticellie.

17. As to the abilities, then, of the entity, that to which it may attain and how:

18. These are limited only by what spirit of creative energy the entity entertains. For thy body is indeed the temple of the living God. There He promises to meet thee. Will ye accept less than He who is the light, and life of the world?

5265-1 Page 4

In whom do ye live and move and have thy being? Who was indeed the first of everything? He is the first and the last. Embrace Him, while ye may, in music, in art. Faint not because of oppositions, but do keep the music of the spheres, the light of the stars, the softness of the moonlight upon the water as upon the trees. For nature in its song, as the birds, as the bees make music to their Creator, contributed to man.

19. Ready for questions.

20. (Q) What is the principal lesson I must learn in this life? (A) Read just that indicated and draw thine own conclusions; patience, persistence.

21. (Q) From what source does the moral and physical protection come of which I have been so aware at times? (A) From within.

22. (Q) Have the opportunities I have had, pointing towards Vedanta, come from past incarnations? (A) Come from past incarnations and application of that from the varied experiences in the present sojourn.

23. (Q) Will Swami Nikhilananda (living at 17 E. 94 St. N.Y.C.) remain my teacher or lead me to another? (A) That depends upon self. Who should teach thee? Think not as to who will come from heaven that ye may have a message, or from over the seas that ye should hear, for lo, it is within thine own heart, apply it! Speak oft to thy Maker and in Him ye may find the light within.

24. (Q) Is it possible for me to give inspiring music to the world in another life? (A) As has been indicated, in this life, in another life. Do it now! Use that thou hast in hand.

25. (Q) Does one start off where one has left off? (A) The next step.

26. (Q) Are music, poetry, art, just worldly and illusory? (A) Know they are of the realms of creative energies which are of the Maker.

27. (Q) Where, when and how have I been associated in the past with my present husband [3063], and have we helped one another in this life? (A) In those particularly in Egypt, as well as in other experiences also. That the greater help ye give for each, for ye helped one another in this life. Who is to judge? These should be from thine own conscience. Ye are necessary one to another. You should consequently, then, be a complement one to the other. [See 3063-1, Par. 53-Q, 6/26/43.]

28. (Q) Is it probable that we will again be closely associated or separated?

5265-1 Page 5

(A) This depends upon the desire. For as creative activities are applied, what ye desire becomes law.

29. (Q) How have I been associated in the past with my present children, and how can I best influence them, my son and daughter? (A) These have been in varied experiences. By those precepts as well as the example may the greater help be, but what we are speaks so loud, others seldom hear. Then be consistent in that ye speak and that ye live.

30. (Q) How and where have I been associated in the past with [3027] and how can I help her? (A) In the Egyptian experience. By pointing the way to self-effacement for the divine purposes of the Creator. For selfishness is the real sin, and as we become less and less conscious of self and more aware of being at an onement with Him, greater may be the possibilities and blessings in the material earth, as well as in the beautiful heavenly rest.

31. (Q) With Edgar Cayce, and how can I best help him? (A) In Egypt. As thy conscience directs.

32. (Q) Will I be able to choose my next country and environment, or does the law of karma place me where I can do best? (A) Law of karma and the purposefulness of how well ye serve in the present, how well ye may choose, for it is a choice as well as karmic reactions.
