Time of Reading Set bet. 3:30 to 4:30 P. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Virginia.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [5266].

3. As we find, there are disturbing conditions which are preventing the better physical functioning of body. These, as we find, in the present, are rather a complication of disorders or disturbances.

4. There have been those operative forces which have allowed, or caused, adhesions and lesions to form in areas where the cerebrospinal and sympathetic nervous system and blood supply coordinate, in the brachial areas especially.

5. The results have been, and are incoordination and a form of anemia that will be hard to combat unless certain measures or precautions are taken.

6. These conditions, as we find, might be termed accidents, in that there were, in the healing of the body, conditions where nerve tissue or tendons became involved, and thus the circulation especially in the upper extremities is such that these have become useless, in a manner, in comparison to their normal activities.

7. This is by pressure, and through the adhesions and lesions formed there are those conditions producing the complications such that nerve and blood supply are not receiving their proper stimulation for the activity and circulation, from the adhesions.

8. Glands are involved in this. Thus, we have a progressive activity of incoordination, of poor circulation.

9. As we find, these may be materially aided. These first will require that the adhesions be broken up. The manner of application will be the administration, by self, of Castor

Oil Packs. True, during the hot weather, this will be somewhat severe, but we would apply two or three thicknesses of flannel saturated with Castor Oil over the abdominal area. This especially in the lacteal duct and to the liver and the caecum area, or extending from the groin on the right side to the middle portion of the abdomen, to the area just below the ribs, and when this is applied and covered so as to prevent soiling of linens, apply an electric pad so this keeps a little bit above body temperature. Keep on for an hour each day.

10. Do this for three days, then have osteopathic adjustments, especially with reference given to the adhesions in the abdomen, over the areas indicated and those corrections in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th dorsals, coordinating the lumbar axis and the 3rd cervical to the 1st cervical with those corrections made.

11. After this has been given, rest a day, then apply again the Oil Pack for three days, one hour each day.

12. Then have another adjustment or osteopathic manipulation, with special reference to the areas indicated.

13. When there have been at least five to seven of these (give and have the Packs the day before, a rest period in between each treatment, see?), then have the short-wave electrical treatment to aid in breaking up the congestion in the hands, arms and the lumbar areas also.

14. These are to be given about once a week after these are begun, and we can then leave off the Oil Packs unless there is lacking in proper elimination or evacuation of the alimentary canal once each day.

15. These, then, will aid. These, if they are followed, will eliminate the greater portion of this disturbance and eventually eliminate this entirely from the system.

16. After there has been seven of the short-wave treatments, have a three weeks' rest from any treatment.

17. As to the mental attitude, know in what ye believe, know in whom ye believe, and as ye know, apply in thy conversation, in thy daily deeds that ye believe.

18. Ready for questions

19. (Q) Who would you suggest for osteopathic and short-wave treatments? (A) Dr. [2914].

20. (Q) Will this treatment bring the circulation of blood to hands and face? (A) Just as has been indicated. These are the areas which have been stipulated as needing the stimulation. We need the stimulation to the assimilating system for the making of better blood also. Do as has been given.

21. (Q) What is causing continuous pain since operation in 1943? (A) The adhesions.

22. (Q) At the base of my spine? (A) Adhesions, see it has been taken into consideration in this which is indicated. The relaxing is to be in the brachial, 3rd cervical, and through the lumbar and sacral, see this includes to the end of the spine. This will be done gently, but to aid through the abdominal area do apply the oil for at least five to seven periods, see?

23. (Q) Why cannot I get up at times? (A) Because of the adhesions and lesions and their pressure upon the locomotory centers of the body. If we do these, we will make better use of the body.
