Time of Reading Set bet. 3:30 to 4:30 P. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Pa.
1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [5267]; present in this room.
3. As we find, there are disturbing conditions. There are something of a complication, or many disturbing conditions, arising primarily from one source of infection in the body-forces; this infection arising between the activity of the superficial and the deeper circulation.
4. These are the conditions which are indicated in the disturbance: First, in the eliminations there are those conditions, not all toxic, yet toxic in nature, which cause the tendons and the muscular forces to indicate an arthritic reaction. This in the very nature being, then, the source between the superficial and the cerebrospinal, makes for periods when these reactions cause stiffness, not in the same nature of what is at times called rheumatic, though there are disturbances and anxieties which are produced in the kidneys and bladder.
5. These are the results more of those tendencies for accumulations in the kidneys themselves. These are not true stones which are formed or indicated by the shadowgraph, but as we will find with administrations which may be indicated for the removal of this force, which causes this incoordination between the blood supplies in these portions of the body-functioning, these will relieve these tensions, will clear those conditions in the urethra and will make for nearer normal reaction in heart, as well as relieving those tendencies for the arthritic reactions.
6. We would begin first, then with these applications. These are as the "don'ts" -:
5267-1 Page 2
7. Do not combine certain characters of foods; as sweets with quantities of starches, and yet, unless candies are taken, these are oft taken in that manner. Honey occasionally may be taken but syrups, candies, especially chocolate, such DO NOT TAKE!
8. Do increase the amount of this character of foods: The raw vegetables that are oft combined with gelatin. Carrots, spinach, celery, lettuce, radishes, not too much but once a day have some of all of these; chard, cabbage but not with vinegar ever or any products of acetic acid.
9. Do begin and have the hydrotherapy treatments as would be indicated in not too high temperatures raised for the body by the dry cabinet heat, but as a Fume Bath. This especially with the combination of both Witchhazel and Atomidine. Do not use Iodine or Tincture of Iodine with Witchhazel, but Atomidine (which can be combined). If it becomes impractical to have the Atomidine mixture, have at one period an iodine bath or Fume bath and the Witchhazel at the next period. Have at least one or two of these each week. Or two in some ten days would be sufficient. This should be followed with the needle shower.
10. Also we would use the Radio-short-wave and this should be applied over the brachial center once and the next time over the area between 9th dorsal and the lumbar area.
11. Do have occasionally, before these are taken, once every three times, stupes of Turpentine cloths over the kidney area.
12. This would be a teaspoonful of Turpentine in a quart of water. This should be very hot, wring a cotton cloth (at least three thicknesses) out in this water. Place this over the kidney area for at least ten to fifteen minutes. Then the other treatments follow, these being applied first.
13. Do these things, having the massage afterward, setting up better eliminations by diet rather than too much laxatives or cathartics.
14. But use as the laxative combinations; that is, one period, if there should be disturbance, use the mineral salts, while the next use either vegetable salts or those with senna base.
15. Do this, we will bring better conditions for this body.
16. Ready for questions.
17. (Q) Is an operation necessary for the removal of the gall bladder advisable? (A) Not necessary if these treatments indicated here are followed through.
18. (Q) Is the gall-stone causing the intermittent spasms of the colon?
5267-1 Page 3
(A) It's rather from the kidney than the gall stones.
19. (Q) Does the occasional short stabbing pain in region of solar plexus have any significance? (A) That indicates that these are those disturbances in kidney, bladder and urethra.
20. (Q) Suggest treatment for chronic catarrh in throat. (A) We have suggested treatments for these. For these massages will with the type of the fume baths and the treatments with the short-wave, relieve these tensions.
21. (Q) Also congestion in left ear and Eustachian tube. (A) All of these will be aided.
22. (Q) Does occasional spitting of blood mean anything? (A) Only that there are those incoordinations, as has been indicated, between the superficial and deeper circulation; both as indicated in the brachial center area and the upper lumbar ares.
23. (Q) Is there any remedy for the itching of skin on legs and lower parts of body? (A) As has been indicated.
24. (Q) Am I in sufficiently good physical condition to justify undertaking the trip to Labrador planned for next year? [I believe that in a previous life I lived in the north country.] (A) The body should be sufficient in strength, and this would be well to make, for you'll be as coming home.
