1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [5282].
3. As we find, there are disturbing conditions which prevent the better physical functioning of the body. The sources of these disturbances lie in the incoordinations between sympathetic and cerebrospinal systems and these affect the body in both the mental reflexes as well as the pathological conditions between sympathetic and cerebrospinal systems and these affect the body in both the mental reflexes as well as the pathological conditions of the activities of the organs through the body.
4. Thus we have many varied complications, but if there would be the corrections of those areas where there are those incoordinations, and better equilibrium established by the activities to those reflexes in brain or central nervous system, and the activities through the impulses of the sympathetic nervous system, we may bring much bettered conditions for the body.
5. These are some of the disturbances which exist in the present:
6. There is ofttimes an upsetting of the eliminating channels of the body. These produce conditions wherein the centers as in feet, arms, limbs are abnormal in their reactions to the circulatory forces and give disturbance.
7. There are those conditions wherein the digestive system becomes unbalanced, and headaches and a fullness in chest, conditions through the whole of the abdominal area may, through these periods, cause the greater disturbances to the body.
8. All of these as we find, are under those directions, those reactions, as of the subluxations which exist in the

4th lumbar. Also there is a circular lesion in that area of the upper portion of the 9th dorsal, in the brachial center and the 3rd cervical.
9. In making corrections of these conditions we would, then, osteopathically make adjustments, but these should be about two treatments of relaxing nature before there is the attempt even for a corrective or adjusting treatment. Then the adjustments would be made in first the areas of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd cervical. Then, after two more relaxing treatments, again make the adjustments in the lumbar area; that we may increase the ability of the body to eliminate the poisons which are a part of the disturbance because of the poor eliminations.
10. Follow through with this and we will bring much bettered conditions for this body.
11. Do that.
12. Ready for questions.
13. (Q) What is causing my heart palpitation? (A) The filling of the areas in the colon, in portion of the transverse and descending colon. The adjustments, and the eliminations stimulated, will relieve these disturbances.
14. (Q) The nose condition? (A) From the brachial center, that causes a poor circulation and poor coordination between sympathetic and sensory forces here. But the adjustments through the areas will stimulate circulation and will make better circulation from the brachial center to the face.
15. (Q) Any suggestions for improvement of my eyes? (A) These come under control with this disturbance in the sensory system and a part of the same condition.
16. (Q) What is a good way to reduce arms and calves? (A) By exercise would be the better. For these, as we find, there would be used, besides the applications suggested, a regular exercise with feet against the wall, on hands, (face down, to be sure) circle the abdominal area stretching the limbs. Do this about three times, first to the right and then to the left. Do this morning and night, but don't begin it and then leave it off after a day or two, but be consistent. For there are tendencies for accumulations because of lack of activity, and with these activities we will bring much bettered conditions. Do that.
