1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions as I ask them.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here [5303].
3. Conditions are not good. There are those disturbances between the physical and mental as to cause the reflexes from brain to activities of the body to become oft very much exaggerated.
4. As we find, in some time back there has been an injury to the coccyx end of the spine. This apparently was from a fall; at least there has been not only the curving of one of the segments, but a jamming of the segments of the coccyx to the last of the lumbars and sacrals.
5. Thus we find there has gradually grown periods when the body would become inclined to be flighty in its reactions, in its questioning and in the associations about same.
6. As we find, there should be first the correction of these disturbances in the last segments of the spine, and the connections of same directly with the lower lumbar centers. These may be corrected, or should be corrected first, by osteopathic adjustments. These may be made twice or three times a week, and once a week between these adjustments do make the applications which will strengthen, not only structural portions, but will make the activity more in keeping with constructive and building up of energies in the body. We would undertake these with Shackleford in the beginning for the osteopathic corrections.
7. We would keep those regular periods, with activities in associations with spiritual things regularly, once each day. These need not be coordinant activities, or they may be positive activities with those who make the adjustments in

the coccyx area of the spine.
8. If these are done we may save this body from many years in seclusion and not too good an environment.
9. Ready for questions.
10. (Q) Is there anything her mother can do to help her? (A) Only by being patient, only being gentle, only being kind; and see that those suggestions made are followed through.
11. (Q) What is the treatment that should be just once a week? (A) The adjustments which are to be made just once a week.
12. (Q) Will she ever be well enough and will she ever rejoin her husband and child? (A) This will depend upon the response the body makes, see? Do these. These offer corrections for this body.
13. We are through with this reading. Two copies to Mother (one for Dr. J. R. Shackleford, 22 Belleview Drive, Nashville, Tennessee) Copy to Ass'n file " for indexing
