Time of Reading Set bet. 10:30 to 11:30 A. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Indiana.
1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them.
2. EC: Yes, yes, rather serious are the disturbances here. As we find, there has already been the damage in the hemorrhage in the central portion of brain. This may be prevented from recurring but as to gaining control of the use of the body in these afflicted areas little help may be had owing to the age and owing to this being the second stroke. For the third very probably will not occur. But we may keep this down by a daily gentle massage, all away from the head. Not merely along the spine, but along either side of the spine where the sympathetic nerves parallel at cerebrospinal, see? And this should extend even on to the feet, down the backside of the legs. This should be with the combination of two ounces of Peanut Oil and one ounce of Olive Oil.
3. When this has been massaged in, as much as possible, then sponge this off with lukewarm water, and then apply the electrically driven vibrator (sponge applicator) but always away from the head.
4. Don't let the body take any foods or strong drinks or carbonated water or those which carry malt or hops in same. No heavy meats; a little fish and fowl may be taken occasionally. This never fried. Vegetables and fruits are also well for the body.
5. These will help, but these will not cure the body.
6. We are through with this Reading.
