1. GC: You will give the relations of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called, [5368].

3. In giving the interpretations of the records of this entity, as we find, there are wonderful possibilities and yet the entity has at times become very much disturbed with the feeling that it would do better in some other line of work, if it were at home more or if it were in some other place more. These have been and are part of the problems of the entity and thus, as we find, the counsel that would be given the entity.

4. For these records are chosen, or these interpretations from the records are chosen, with the desire that this entity use same that it may better fulfill the purposes for which it entered this material experience.

5. The promptings that are given here are not that the entity should become as one "goody-goody" sort of a fellow but rather one with definite aims, definite desires and using the urges as may be turned into those lines of endeavor into helpful influences.

6. For this entity we would find, then, that spiritual counsel that is latent and manifested must be made more manifest in the activities of the entity, if there would be

5368-1 Page 2

those accomplishments which may be had materially, mentally, spiritually.

7. True, we would magnify the virtues, and these are many; we would minimize the faults, and this should be the policy of the entity.

8. The chosen field of service or activity in the present is very good but these activities are not all that the body may accomplish, for in the analyzing of itself, it is not that the ego is to be so manifested as to think more highly of itself than it should, yet know deep within the heart and soul that ye are a child of the living God. The earth and the fullness, though, is His and with thy trust wholly in Him as thy guide, through prayerful meditations as to choices to be taken here, and not just hunches but rather as with the voice within, there is little that this entity may not accomplish.

9. Then set definite periods for prayer; set definite periods for meditation. Know the difference between each. Prayer, in short, is appealing to the divine within self, the divine from without self, and meditation is keeping still in body, in mind, in heart, listening, listening to the voice of thy Maker.

10. Astrologically we find that Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Venus are all parts of the consciousness of the soul-entity. Thus no one will ever call this entity lazy. Sure it gets tired, sure it needs recreation, but not the character of recreation that it sometimes is thought or felt, but rather know change of activity as may be indicated in Mars and not getting angry about anything but keeping in the Jupiterian influence of activities, of things, knowing that these work together for good to those who love the Lord. This doesn't mean just being "goody-goody", but good for something - something definite. Be the best husband there is on the road, be the best salesman in the whole group and you will find that in a very short while there will be much difference, if those set periods are adhered to - not just something to take up a little time, but set a definite period morning or evening, or both even, though it be five or ten minutes - let nothing interfere, pray. Then live like you pray. Then listen, and ye may be very sure the answer will come back to you and ye will soon find everyone much gladder to see you coming. Ye will find all will be ready to assist you in being the best of whatever ye choose as the active service, and soon ye will be given a new place in the general organization where ye can carry on to greater expansion in preparation, in expanding the fields of service with those with whom ye are associated.

11. As to the appearances in the earth, while all may not be given, yet these will indicate the pattern. These will indicate as to how these urges which are indicated spiritually, mentally, may be manifested materially in this particular experience. And when ye pray, give thanks daily, for that ye are given in hand by Him, who is the giver of all good and perfect gifts.

12. Before this we find the entity was in the land of the present nativity and during those early settlings when many were driven from that now known as Chicago or Dearborn. The entity settled in and near the land of the entity's present nativity. Thus there is an attraction for the lands, for the environs of that portion of the land. And these attract, draw to the entity a consciousness of being a part of and a well being as dealing with the environs of the present nativity.

13. The name then was Irvin Wagner, and the entity turned the activities of the land into what you would call today a real estate proposition and thus things, conditions, environs all have their urge in the activities of the entity in the present. The entity succeeded, and thus an urge to interest others in properties, products, definite conditions, or as a salesman, is latent and manifested in the abilities. For the entity, if it set itself to do so, might sell even the sand barges of the Ohio for lands of cultivation, yet this is not the character of activities - but as the prayer would be, that as may be helpful to others in whatever the contact may be with the fellow man.

14. Before that we find the entity was in the Spanish land when, in those portions of the fifteenth century, there were great expansions and individuals were in various portions of the land, especially in those parts of Mexico, South American where there were expansions for gold, for lands where there might be interest of products of that land.

15. Thus we find that certain areas of the earth have a particular influence or create an urge latent within the entity for material possessions. These should be the result of well-doing and not primarily the urge prompting the activity. That is the greater warning given to this entity.

16. The name then was Herman Hernandez. In the experience the entity was among those who made friends among even those higher up, and took advantage of such, and this the entity is meeting in self. Hence the needs of policies being determined, being adhered to and those policies a daily turning to that which is or should be the ideal of the entity.

17. Before that we find the entity was in the Egyptian land

5368-1 Page 4

when there were those preparations of individuals for activities in varied lands and the preparations in language, knowledge of those activities in varied lands; and thus we find the entity interested in the unusual stories of various lands, the products of various lands, especially the tropical and semi-tropical places, those which would pertain to minerals, ores, oils, those hard places, all are latent activities in the consciousness of the entity.

18. In that experience the entity was known as Ista-elen.

19. As to the abilities of the entity, then, these are limited only by how high the entity determines in self he is to advance. For ye can limit thine own self by thinking negatively, but know the law of the Lord, keeping that daily study of same, and thus may it be said first: Study to show thyself approved, body, mind, soul unto thy God, rightly divining, rightly interpreting words of truth, keeping self unspotted from the world, and we will find spiritually, mentally, materially this entity may be a success.

20. Ready for questions.

21. (Q) Was I doing the work for which I was best fitted prior to entering the service? (A) This was a steppingstone, yes.

22. (Q) Am I doing the right work in this field? (A) This will lead to the directions indicated if those suggestions outlined, those determinations, will be set in the way as has been given.

23. (Q) How might I improve myself so as to progress in this field? (A) Read that given. Don't do it just to try, but know deep within self, as has been given, that this is the manner, trusting in Him.

24. (Q) What were the past associations with my wife [4920], and what are the urges in the present from these associations, and how may they be used for our mutual development in the present? (A) In the experience before this there were very close associations but she was then the wife of a friend. But in the Egyptian land very closely together. They can be the complement one to the other. Trust, then, in the judgments one of the other, and each keep the law of the Lord.
