Time of Reading Set bet. 3:30 to 4:30 P. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Va.
1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [5370].
3. As we find, there are disturbances which may be corrected and yet these will appear to some to be so simple as to be questioned. But these are the conditions as we find them with this body: [5370], we are speaking of; present in this room.
4. In some time back there was a hitch or a strain or sprain to the area of the spine in what is the 11th and 12th dorsal. This has gradually caused a lesion from and to the lower portion of the 9th dorsal where the circulation between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal systems cause, with activities as in walking or in exercise especially where there is swinging of the arms or if in certain positions, even when lying down, these pressures which set up a short-circuit, as it were, between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal systems, and it is an extra flow of blood toward the face, the head, the neck, the cheeks.
5. These are not, then, organic disturbances at all but the extra flow of superficial blood supply, and it does cause in the diaphragm and heart area, even the lungs at times, the necessity that there be a change in the activities of the body. If walking or the like, you must sit down or lie down. If there is the lying down and the turn of the body produces the pressure, and then [you] must sit up, must turn over, must rest.
6. For these, as we find, there should be, then, some six to eight osteopathic adjustments, correcting those subluxations between the 11th and 12th and the 9th dorsals and coordinating brachial center and the 3rd cervical center

with the corrections made in the lower portion of the dorsal and lumbar areas.
7. Use the Radio-Active Appliance as an equalizer. This is to be attached to the body to the right wrist, left ankle, left wrist, right ankle. Do this as the body rests once each day, or twice each day. If taken once a day use one hour and if taken twice a day use for thirty minutes each period. Follow same with the arm exercise. Stand erect and circle the arm as fast as you can make it turn around, just swinging it around and around for several times, first the right arm and then the left. Do this after each period of taking the Radio-Active Appliance. Do keep the plates very clean. Do prepare at least twenty minutes before it is attached to the body. Don't allow the water or ice to get over the top or the connections to become submerged in any way. Do attach the same plate first each time, whether it is to the right or left wrist or to the left or right ankle. Be sure this is attached first, the same plate, and don't let other people use it either. Disconnect it when not in use.
8. Thus, we will correct these conditions.
9. Ready for questions.
10. We are through with this reading. Two copies to Self (one for the osteopath) Copy to Ass'n file " for indexing (While staying in Virginia Beach, we would refer to you Dr. Vincent H. Ober, Bankers Trust Bldg., Norfolk, Va. When returning to Washington, we would refer you to Dr. Lulu Irene Waters Hare, 1707 Columbia Rd., Washington, D.C.
