Born February 25, 1906, in Sylvester, Texas. Time of Reading Set bet. 3:30 to 4:30 P. M. Eastern War Time. Norfolk, Va.

1. GC: You will give the relations of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Sylvester, Texas - quaint place! February 25th, 1906 - not too nice a day, either, is it?

3. We have the records here of that entity now known as, or called, [5400]. In giving the interpretations of the records there is much to be taken into consideration.

4. For, as we find, the entity is one of those individuals who is at times rather an extremist, being not only close in the Uranian urge, but also an Atlantean. Much of the direction, then, as will be taken, will be as a guiding through love, affection, friendship, more than that of duty, or more than that "because you have to!" For the entity at times is very independent, and at others very dependent upon suggestion or direction from others.

5. Interested in many things. Interested in conditions and circumstances which bring about environments for individuals or groups, and thus, the entity will find a period when there will be interest in educational conditions, education of people toward certain given directions, as well as interests in nature and nature's storehouse.

6. These, then, are the innate characteristics, as we will find, in the individuality of the entity, while in the personality we will find, as indicated, those periods when the entity is easy to get along with, and others when he is stubborn as the proverbial mule.

7. In those things, then, as might be given as helpful forces, as to the application of self in the present, and

those directions in which the entity may apply the abilities to contribute to the welfare, not only of the community, but of the state, we find that the whole peoples will be better for the entity's having been through that environment chosen for the activities of the entity.

8. As we find, then, these are the directions which may be the most helpful:

9. First, find self, as it is related to Creative Force, or God. Know the ideals of self - physical, mental, and spiritual. Though, to be sure, these should be reversed. For the physical should be the result of the ideal of the spiritual and mental application of the abilities and the qualifications of the entity, as in its relationships to earth, to peoples, to conditions in the earth.

10. As has been indicated, the entity is interested in - qualified to be associated in - educational institutions, but these should apply, as we find, in the present, more to soil, to nature, and to nature's storehouse, than to things or places. These should apply, then, in those applications concerning the soil, the cattle, the growth of the stock, not as that as would be so much for money, yet these will be the results, by using that in assisting in the educational faculties, the educational institutions, and as to how cattle, hides, goats, such may be used as a means for betterment of the physical and mental welfare of individuals.

11. There will be many changes, to be sure, when the present conditions have subsided which have upset the equilibrium of the land, the equilibrium of prices, and there will be more and more upsetting in the monetary units in the land. Thus, such activities indicated will bring greater safety for self and for those in its own immediate environs and surroundings.

12. These, then, as we find, would be the directions the entity should take. Do go to ranch life! Grow much of that as may be food for cattle and for the stock. Do interest self in those things which have been a part of the experience. Know that no town, or city, or community off of an air line will be in the thick of things - it might as well be out of the world, almost! Do interest self, then, in this, and keep the interests in same, if there would be the communications with the activities, the keeping in touch with the interests of the entity in the various portions of the country.

13. Ready for questions.

14. (Q) Am I meeting and fulfilling the purposes for which I am present upon the earth at this time?

(A) You may meet these. The background is such that it may be done, and the urges are latent and manifest. Do first set the ideal. This isn't the easiest job, either. Not merely saying, "Yes, I believe this", and "yes, I believe that". Put it upon paper. Draw lines. Put headings: "My spiritual ideal"; what is it? "My mental ideal", as to how the time should be spent in recreation, in study, in work, in social activity, in the various activities necessary for an individual to be well-rounded. The ideal way in not "well, I can't do this", but the ideal way and work towards it. Then, "My ideal-physical". What sort of a church would that church be if every member was just like yourself? What would it look like? What sort of home life would there be, if every husband was just like yourself? What is the ideal attitude of a husband, of a father? What is the ideal attitude of a neighbor? of a rancher? of a brother? of those political or social activities? Get them down under each of the three headings. See what they look like. You will rub them out many times, for you will see that they don't fit into your ideal - spiritual ideal - for that can only be one - Jesus, the Christ!

15. (Q) How may I better accomplish those things for which I am here? (A) Read what has just been given.

16. (Q) Have I chosen the right field in which to work, or should I make a change to some other field? (A) As we find, in that of the rancher. Not that the interests in education are not well, but ye are in that position to better supply, direct, sponsor those who may do a better job in the actual teaching, if directed by you and your worldly goods. Remember, all the earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof, and the cattle on a thousand hills. The silver and the gold is lent to thee. Be, then, the ideal steward to the Lord, thy God.
