1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [5412]. Now, we find there are specific conditions as produce hindrances in the normal development of the body. While in the physical sense the developments are near normal, in the activities of the system as related to coordination between sympathetic and cerebrospinal reflexes, these are ABNORMAL. In the cause, we find that in the presentation - at birth - there were pressures, or indentations, which hindered in the normal connection being made in the 4th lumbar plexus; so that - in the activities of locomotion, both as to impulse and the reactions IN same that come with the effect as is produced in nerve centers in brain - there is a development in the sensory organisms; so that to attract attention, or to get a nominal response to the sensory reactions, these are forced - rather than of a normal condition.
2. In the GENERAL physical forces the body is GOOD, in development, digestive forces, heart's action, pulsation, reflexes as to the general organism - but in this respect, where there is pressure existent in this region (the lumbar), there are also secondary conditions in the upper dorsal and THROUGHOUT the cervical regions, those depressions as prevent a normal impulse. In the PRESENT state, these - as we find - may be corrected; while this will tend to make for a backward development for the time being, yet with the correction of conditions existent in the lumbar, the 3rd and 4th dorsal, and from the 5th to the 2nd CERVICAL, these requiring a time for the NOMINAL connection between cerebrospinal and sympathetic centers, we will find that the stability in the muscular forces of the spinal system, the reactory forces to the sensory system - the hearing, the eyes, the SENSORY reflexes - as WELL as locomotion, will be brought to a NORMAL condition.
3. We would add, WITH these adjustments AND manipulations -
5412-1 Page 2
rather than adjustments alone - those vibratory forces as will aid nerve reflexes in their connections in the system, through the low form of the wet vibratory forces, as has been given, of the plain nature; these being one pole copper the other nickel, as also in anodes, making the connections on same as body rests, in the lower portion of the solar plexus center, and in the 2nd cervical center, the next application of the vibratory forces from same being in the 3rd DORSAL plexus and the 4th LUMBAR plexus; such vibrations lasting for - in the beginning - 20 minutes. As the ACTIVITIES of body increase - that is, in its ability to function WITH its nominal forces - these would be increased to 30, 40, then 50 minutes; these given each day.
4. The massage and the osteopathic forces would be given every other day.
5. In 20 to 40 days we will find the BEGINNING - not complete, but the BEGINNING - of the responses in a DEFINITE way and manner. Ready for questions.
6. (Q) Will the mind become normal? (A) This is a portion of the depressions; for with the vibratory forces set up - with the manipulations as remove pressure, the balancing in reflexes and impulses will become normal.
7. (Q) Any special diet? (A) That as necessary for a NORMAL, NOMINAL, development of the body. Not TOO much of calcium foods, as to produce too much of that character of the effect in system as to produce bony structures in an abnormal manner. More of an equal or even balance, for the body - physically and mentally - is in the developing stage.
8. (Q) Will he be able to walk? If so, how soon? (A) Be able to walk, and we will see the beginning of the improvements of a DEFINITE nature in 20 to 40 days.
9. (Q) Will he be able to talk? (A) All responses through the SENSORY system will become near normal. Backward in the EXPRESSIONS of same, but development to normal.
10. (Q) Will his neck become straightened? (A) Will become straightened, with the proper adjustments and proper corrections through the system; BEGINNING with that existent in the lumbar and ALIGNING same in a nominal manner.
11. (Q) Where could this treatment be properly carried out? (A) Wherever there is one in sympathy with that being attempted to be done, and one that KNOWS the anatomy and the manner of adjustments AND manipulations.
12. (Q) Who would you suggest as the proper one to
5412-1 Page 3
superintend this treatment? (A) A portion may only be given in one place. Then, through that channel.
13. That is all the questions.
