1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [5420], present in this room. You will give a physical and mental reading for this body, with suggestions for the improvement of each, and answer the questions which I will ask you regarding these.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [5420], present in this room.

3. In the physical forces of the body, we find there are conditions wherein the body should be guarded against; for, while these do not at present show so much distress, were the corrections made now the basis or the seat of the trouble may be removed, while later on there would only be the treatment of the results or effects of the conditions.

4. These, then, are the conditions-physical as we find them with this body, [5420] we are speaking of:

5. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, here we find the indications of where distresses may be corrected, though there is not sufficient evidence, except at times, that would INDICATE any disorder in this direction - but the pressure, as is changeable in the physical forces, indicates there is an unbalanced condition between the circulations of the larger eliminating organs of the system, or an unstabilized condition in the hepatic circulation. These conditions are not always present, but there are through the various channels in which drosses, or refused forces in the system which show a sedimentation, must at times appear in the eliminations from the kidneys; also that there is some disorder in the metabolism of the blood, or the heart's action itself. These conditions have not become organic; neither have they as yet, as WE find, become what would be termed constitutional; that is, the system has not adjusted itself to the existent disturbance so as to make it hard to combat; not as yet.

6. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, this, in the cerebrospinal, we find rather a basis of the condition, and that the condition is

5420-1 Page 2

WITH other influences produced by the specific condition existent in the 9th dorsal region, or BOTH branches of the solar plexus center. Hence at times we find the body, after an evening's rest feels exhilarated - yet will fag through the day. At others there will be the opposite condition - rather indisposed and dull of mornings, but as the day wears on feeling better.

7. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF ORGANS THEMSELVES, with these disorders radiating from liver, spleen, pancreas, kidneys, there may be expected that there are VARIATIONS as to the reflexes produced in the functioning organs; though FEW - except these as named - show any MATERIAL distress from the condition, though there is, to be sure, a disorder through the colon itself, from the periods of overloading the same without the peristaltic movement to carry on the proper eliminations through the alimentary canal. Drosses occur there at times. THIS has been blamed for the disorder. The dizziness, the non-activity of the whole system - this is rather an indication. The CAUSE, as we find, is emanating from that condition existent in the ganglia above and below the 9th dorsal center.

8. In meeting the needs, then, we would find that - with the proper adjustments, either PROPERLY chiropractically made, or BETTER with the proper manipulation and adjustment OSTEOPATHICALLY made - the body would show material improvement, would there be the same precautions taken WITH the invigoration as will be felt from same, as there has been heretofore - with the diet, the activities, the exercises, and the eliminations. These may be aided by ADDITION of varied properties. THIS, we would find, would aid materially. Prepare as in this manner:

9. To 16 ounces of distilled water add 3 ounces dried garden sage. Reduce by slow simmering, not boiling, to 1/2 the quantity. Strain while warm and add simple syrup (but this made of BEET sugar) 1 ounce. Dissolve 15 grains ambergris in 1 ounce alcohol. Add that of gin 4 ounces - Gordon gin, or this may be made with the Juniper berry or extract, WITH WEAKENED alcohol, and Cinnamon (in stick) 1 dram. Shake the solution together before the dose is taken, which should be teaspoonful half an hour before the meals.

10. Eat the meals, but beware of meat, too much sugars, or of condiments. Other foods, especially those of seafoods, may be taken in moderation.

11. As to the MENTAL body - this needs MUCH attention. While there may not be said it has been neglected, yet it has NOT been kept in attunement with the best as may be ACCOMPLISHED by the body; for the mental IS the builder, and

5420-1 Page 3

while the body is NOT an idealist, there SHOULD BE the ideal FOR the body, that the life in all its phases may be MADE to be not ONLY interesting and worthwhile, but GOOD FOR SOMETHING - NOT just GOOD!

12. In the ABILITIES of the body's application, MUCH may be said. FIRST, though, know self - and conquer self; and in knowing self, and in being TRUE to self, the body-mental nor physical will be false to any element of life's experience. Be in that position of not GAINING or ATTAINING, but worthy by the activities first MENTALLY - and THEN materially - of being in that position of needing and worthwhile TO the body, and it (that desired) will BE the recompense.

13. Ready for questions.

14. (Q) What causes irritation on hand between thumb and forefinger? (A) The disturbance in the circulation.

15. (Q) Give cause and treatment of pain at times between eyes and over nose? (A) This has been given.

16. (Q) What can the body do to make life more complete and satisfied? (A) That as has JUST been given, in knowing self, BEING worthwhile - NOT just good, NOT just tolerably moral, but good FOR something! In applying self, THIS the body SHOULD know - in every activity of life there is NO need in attempting to be in that position of rendering a service to WHATEVER may be worshiped, but in lending - in aiding - in assisting - NOT other than by counsel and by precept and by ensample to thine brother, to thine friend, to thine neighbor, is LENDING to the Lord.

17. (Q) What must the body do to find the right girl to marry? (A) Act, live, in that way and manner as is befitting one DESERVING the kind, the ideal - and it will COME to pass.

18. (Q) What causes inclination to nervousness, and how overcome it? (A) That's just been given, as that condition existent in the 9th dorsal region - in the plexus above and below the 9th dorsal.

19. (Q) How can self-consciousness be overcome? (A) Lose self in doing something for someone else!

20. (Q) What hobby should body pursue? (A) There are several that have the call for the body. In gathering data of any nature, is the MOST interesting, the MOST beneficial for self, for others.

21. (Q) How can body improve memory and power of concentration? (A) By acting in that manner in which self is lost in that being done. This is the BEST manner to lose self-consciousness, and to become in the way of power in personality, and in being JUST one's self.
