Time of Reading 4:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [5427]. Now, we find the abnormal conditions as cause distress at times with this body have to do with the eliminations of the system, and the effects as have been created in the system due to obstructions builded, and to change in the functioning of the organs physical of the body.
2. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, [5427], we are speaking of:
3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, here we find the evidences at present of the character of disturbance as HAS produced the effects as ARE apparent. In the beginning, this began with the condition as had to do with the blood becoming too MUCH heaviness, or drosses in same, by improper coordination of the hepatic circulation. Then, when there was sufficient pressure brought to bear in the system - especially in the vegetative nerve system, THEN those of the plethora in the liver, in that of the circulation as related TO the pressures brought in same - THESE brought the distresses through the nerve system, as hindered in the coordination of the circulation to the extremities, and INCREASING the amount as passed through the internal circulation; so that the slowing up OF the circulation IN the extremities brought about more of the distress.
4. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, OR SYSTEMS, we find there has long remained a pressure as produced in the lower lumbar region. This, in its reaction, has brought for the whole OF the nerve system (in the cerebrospinal) that of inactivity in centers and ganglia. Especially has same been seen along the spinal activity OF the body, AFFECTING principally in the locomotion and in the ACTIVITIES of same to extremities; so that the reactions become more of a SYMPATHETIC nature in their activity.
5. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES:
6. In the sensory reaction there is seen MUCH of the discord between the sympathetic AND cerebrospinal.
5427-1 Page 2
7. In those of the head, neck, in the lungs, bronchia - with a disturbed circulation, these - in their turn - have added to the distresses as have been produced. Lungs, in their ACTIVITY ABOVE the normal, considering the conditions through which the body HAS passed.
8. The digestive system has long given distresses through a NERVOUS indigestion. Not other than that of a SYMPATHETIC reaction with same.
9. Heart's action has been, and is, UNDER the stress. Normal for the condition existent, though not normal for a body in the age - or from a normal standpoint.
10. In the condition in the liver, here we find a distress as ABOVE the normal; for the circulation passing through same - being the excretory as well as a secretive organ - the distresses have brought this engorgement, the enlargement in the organ itself. THIS [is] the organ that suffers most under the strain.
11. The kidneys and the hepatic circulation have been COLD in their reaction, and the pressure as produced in system - as given - came from those reactions.
12. In meeting the needs of the condition, to bring about the nearer normalcy for the body - these, as we find, may be AIDED MATERIALLY, WILL the RESPONSE in the physical forces be in keeping with the APPLICATIONS as would be made from both external and internal applications.
13. In the first, we would find that it would be necessary to, in the application, give that as will keep for the reactions to not be too severe to the nervous system. Hence those of the bromides, or of the sedatives, must be kept until there is sufficient reaction through the system to reestablish a better coordination in the system.
14. These we would find by the application of those treatments as will enliven the whole resuscitating system, as related to the excretory functioning of the liver itself.
15. Also of the applications that will create within the nerve supply that of sufficient energy as to act with that as may be supplied from the central nervous system, or from the cerebrospinal system, those as will bring the nearer coordination. These we would find by the use of the wet appliance BATTERY forces, in a low form, or CHARGING same and applying same TO the body.
16. Use with those of the MANIPULATIONS, in the beginning, to create the coordination throughout the system.
17. Ready for questions.
18. (Q) How often should the battery be used, and how applied? (A) This should be applied to the extremities of the body, one to the ankle and the other to the wrist. This should be
5427-1 Page 3
done DURING a REST period; PREFERABLY in the afternoons, and should be given for about thirty minutes in the beginning, each application each day. This would be gradually increased as the body becomes more accustomed to the changed vibration.
19. (Q) How often the osteopathic treatments? (A) Each day in the beginning there should be the manipulations to bring about the COORDINATION between the activities of the central portion and the exterior portions of the body.
20. (Q) Should any local applications be used for the sight? (A) These will be used for the sight WHEN we have established a better coordination in the cerebrospinal and sympathetic system. These pressures come from the POISONS or accumulations from the liver. These would be enlivened by the manipulation and by the drosses or drainages set up in system through the manipulation, see? Not local applications in the beginning. These we would have AFTER we have set up DRAINAGES; so that, that accumulation as FORMS the pressure IN this portion is removed.
21. (Q) What should the diet be? (A) This should be nearer a normal balanced, that keeps from creating too much dross in system. That easily assimilated, with a STIMULATED excretory functioning of the liver.
22. (Q) Is there a prospect of the sight being restored? (A) Prospect of the sight being restored when the PRESSURES may be REMOVED that are causing the obstruction especially in the RIGHT eye, you see, WHERE the obstruction occurs most.
23. (Q) How much of the sight will be restored? (A) This will depend upon the reaction of the body to the applications. This may better be given as DRAINAGES are set up, so that the poisons - that CAUSE the pressure may be, or will be eliminated. This SHOULD almost restore NORMALCY for the sight.
