1. EC: We have the body here, [5438]. Now, we find there are abnormal conditions with this body that may be corrected. There are at present some accentuations of the conditions, this being at the period of a cycle of change in the disturbances, and more distraughtness is brought to the body at this time from these causes than nominally. While it would require some time to eliminate the causes of the disturbance, relief may be given for immediate conditions - but these will be of a temporary nature. In the specific conditions existent arises the disorders, and these would be to give the cause - rather the history than the specific condition existent at present; for at present the body's distress comes from the EFFECTS of the disturbance. These have to do with the stomach proper, and with conditions existent in the cerebrospinal centers. First is the condition existent in the upper dorsal region. This deflection in times back brought the distress in the cardiac region. The taking of properties to correct the disorder brought TEMPORARY reliefs, and not CAUSES removed. Then there became the general debilitation, wherein the severe pains in head, failing in eyesight, distress in lumbar region and kidneys, were a result. The continued application for the effects has LEFT the condition rather distraught. At PRESENT we find those of nausea; at times some temperature; at others subnormal; again the heart's action distorted, and the pains in lumbar or in the back itself give the distress. These coming from impoverishment in the system, through the inflection of nerve energy in the digestive system, causing the inability of the system to create proper elements for the digesting of foods, and CAKES or HARD portions have formed in the walls of the stomach proper. NOT ulcerations, not even lacerations. Neither is the condition at present malignant. Rather the STIFFENING of the mucus membrane itself into such an extent as to cause

the unbalancing of circulation, of the pressure in the upper dorsal, in the cervical region, and the pains in the head. In the whole general debilitation as comes from same is lack of vital forces necessary in the system to replenish the body properly. The dizziness is as a result of those conditions arising in the hypogastric plexus, and the esophagus itself becoming sore in the end - or near the cardiac end.
2. In meeting the needs of the conditions, first these may be considered - as given - as for temporary, or they may be considered from that of the correction as would relieve the body OF the distraughtness, OF the stiffness as is showing itself in the extremities, of the relieving of the conditions throughout the system. THIS we would give as the manner for the PROPER correction:
3. First we would change the surroundings. We would apply, then, those of the proper vibratory forces in medicinal properties as to assist in the correcting of the pressure in the system. This we would add with small quantities of nux vomica with those of the digestive fluids increased in system, that are not of a nature as to cause irritation. Small doses of lactated pepsin with whatever food or nourishment as would be given. These we would find would bring relief to the system, BUT - in a manner wherein that the corrections as must be made IN the cerebrospinal system, in the WHOLE of the system - especially in the upper dorsal, the cervical, and the lower dorsal and lumbar and sacral region - THESE should be made osteopathically.
4. The body should rest most of the time through these applications. The colon should be kept cleansed, and those food values given that are PRE-digested or of the EASILY digested, so that the vitality of the system may be increased, and the REFUSES of the system - as will be set up by the extra amount of drainage as will be set up in system - will be eliminated - these by the colonic irrigations; not so as to carry inflammation into these portions, but so that the body may ELIMINATE ABOVE the ordinary through the alimentary canal.
5. Sufficient of those of the baths that CAPILLARY circulation may be also aided.
6. Keep the body in this resuscitating state, and we will find that in three to five weeks it may be able to care for itself, and gradually build back to a better normal condition for this body of [5438]. Ready for questions.
7. The nux vomica and the pepsin should be given under the supervision of the physician, that would also arrange the diets for the body, and the rest of these should be for the

system, you see.
8. (Q) Due to physical condition, what is body best fitted for? (A) Let's get the body so it will be fitted for anything! It isn't fitted for anything at present! Let's get the PHYSICAL condition in such shape and in such condition that we may have the RESPONSES, so that that as is desired OF the body physical and the body mental may be in accord with that that may be accomplished through this exigency or exercise.
9. That is all the questions.
10. This relief that will be given the body, especially in the upper dorsal and cervical, will materially aid the conditions in the vision, for the drainage will be started through this portion. It may be found necessary that attention be given to the mucus membranes of throat and head, as this drainage begins - for naturally there will be the form of infection from drosses thrown off by eliminations set up. These will be met locally as the conditions arise. Do that. We are through for the present. Copy to Mrs. [98] " " Ass'n office " " Cayce Hospital " " Mr. [99]
