1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [5457]. Now, we find the body very good in many respects. In the development in the physical forces of the body, we find malformations, as in the development, produce those obstructions and hindrances to a normal development. These conditions, as we find, may be aided materially through the developing and through the formation stages OF development, that the physical body, physical organisms, may function the nearer normal.
2. These, then, are the conditions as we find the with this body, [5457] we are speaking of:
3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find near normal.
4. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, we find distresses from impingements as exist in the structural portions of the body, as related to the functioning of the sensory organism especially. Then, the conditions as become involved are those of the vision, the auditory, and the speech. This not ONLY from condition as exists in palate, but as conditions as exist in the upper dorsal and THROUGHOUT the cervical region. These make, then, for the insufficient supply of nerve energy TO the upper central nervous system, and for those of the blood and lymph supply to a normal development of the throat, the larynx, and the palate.
5. These, as we find then, may be materially aided by the proper manipulations and vibrations as may be set in the system through the proper adjustments and relieving of pressures in the region as related to these obstructions, and these hindrances IN the blood, the lymph, and the eliminating system.
6. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES:
7. Brain forces very good.
8. Organs of the sensory system ALL become involved, under the pressure existent in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th dorsal,
5457-1 Page 2
the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th cervical. These are the REGIONS from which the blood supply TO those PORTIONS of the system, through which the organs of the sensory system receive their impulse and their activity. The formations in itself, through pressure as received in the presentation of the body, in its entry into the physical forces, or the material plane, made for those pressures that would have been more EASILY corrected in THAT portion of the experience; yet in the PRESENT, while it will require a LONGER period of time, this consistently and persistently adhered to, will bring FOR the developing body a much nearer NORMAL condition. THAT we would do. Ready for questions.
9. (Q) What is the exact treatment to be followed? (A) Those of the proper adjustments for those conditions existent in the upper dorsal and cervical region, with that manipulation necessary in the palate, in the roof of mouth, in the throat itself, for the proper DISTRIBUTION and proper eliminations in this portion of the system. Those vibrations as would be set would be from the Radio-Active Appliance as related to the vibrations of system from the extremities.
10. (Q) Should the adjustments be made osteopathically? (A) The ONLY way they may be made CORRECTLY will be osteopathically.
11. (Q) How often should the treatments be given? (A) The manipulation, as general, should be given one day; then skip a day, and adjustments then the next; skip a day, and the general; then skip a day, and adjustments again. This, then, should continue for a period of at least ten to sixteen such treatments and adjustments. Then a rest period, and then begin again, see?
12. (Q) How often should the battery be given, and for what period of time? (A) Each evening would be well for the battery to be given; not night, but in the afternoon or evening, see? so that the vibrations of the system are kept so that the body RESTS well, and that there are not OVER vibratory forces in ANY of the extremities. These should be alternated from the ankle to the wrist, and should be made part the time negative in the wrist and part time negative in ankle.
13. (Q) Should any special diet be followed? (A) That of a general physical building diet. This portion of the system, as we find, is very good.
14. (Q) Following the treatments prescribed, approximately how long will it take to bring body to normal? (A) Three to six years.
15. (Q) Can she be made perfectly normal?
5457-1 Page 3
(A) The body can be made perfectly normal.
16. (Q) How long each evening should the Radio-Active Appliance be used? (A) Thirty to sixty minutes.
17. (Q) Would it be necessary, in order to bring this body to a normal condition, for her to remain at the Cayce Hospital for that period of time? (A) Just as given, these should be for periods. Should be in their regular order of the development of the physical forces of the body, for the body would become tired, worn out, and find setbacks, to remain in any ONE place - but the PERSISTENCY will be, that their regular periods of development of treatment would be accorded the body. They will find, in the first, there will begin first a very SMALL degree of improvement, and with the relaxation under normal circumstances and conditions would AGAIN seem that there would be improvement for a short period. After three to six weeks, then there should be from three to six weeks treatment again. Then there would be that recurrent, or change. This should be kept, and we will find the NORMALCY will be a growth, as the development of the PHYSICAL forces OF the body are developments, see? for structural portions are to be changed in the MANIPULATIVE measures, as is for the palate, for the roof of the mouth, for those of the organs of the sensory system - KEEPING all of these conditions in their proper relationship one to another, will gradually build NORMALCY in the physical and in the mental, and spiritual forces will guide, in the manner in which the directing of those who are active with the development of the mental and spiritual forces of the body. Build within self, then, that as is desired, those as upon which the body depends in its developing stage; for the desire of the heart may be attained, will the belief in that as may BRING developments for a perfect physical force be kept - and then ACT that way.
