1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, we find there are disturbing conditions with the physical forces of this body. The conditions as are apparent are not wholly in the ordinary sense the conditions as are caused. The disturbances have to do with pressure as created, or as existent in the system through adhesions and through the effects that are produced in system. THESE are they that are apparent or seen. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, [5458] we are speaking of. First:

2. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, here we find evidences of the disturbance in the circulation, and that the eliminations are not coordinant in the system. Also that there are elements that are OVER abundant and others that are lacking in the system. The pressure as created also affects the heart's action, though is not ORGANIC in its nature. Rather the reflex, and the disturbance affects rather the katabolism of the system. In the eliminations there is more of that attempted to be eliminated through the respitory [respiratory] system. Hence the emunctories and lymphatic circulation are disturbed. THIS producing the over irritation, also the effects as are created through the torso, as affects the vegetative nerve system and ITS part in the elimination.

3. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, OR SYSTEMS - here we find the greater cause for the distresses, and this has existed in the system for times and times back, and with the pressure existent on ganglia, these have so diminished the impulses from the radial centers as to hinder the amount of blood supply to those portions of the system in the intestinal tract, in the pelvis, that these have produced LESIONS that cause the greater distress, and those effects to the extremities, to the exterior of the circulation, IN capillary, IN emunctory, IN the lymph - these are effects, or the system attempting to adjust itself. The ganglia that

5458-1 Page 2

are disturbed are those in the 11th and 12th dorsal, in the 4th and 5th lumbar, in the sacral, as also sympathetically those in the upper cervical, wherein both hypogastric and pneumogastric plexus are disturbed sympathetically; for with the pneumogastric's reaction through the system, these carry the distresses to the system, affecting sympathetically only the sympatheticals and the sensory system. Then, there may be said, most anything COULD be the matter with the body, though the conditions radiate from those ganglia as are subluxated or impinged, and are lateral impingements, and are deep. These have formed the LESIONS in pelvis and in the INTESTINAL system, as affect mesenteric and vegetative nerve reflexes.

4. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, brain forces react - react - ABOVE normal, yet DEPRESSIONS there prevent a normal impulse in SOME directions.

5. Sympathetic system, as effective to the organs OF sensory system, also show their responses, as does the tissue in the soft portions of the head. These are reflex.

6. Throat, bronchials, lungs - these show the effect of the disturbed circulation and of the poisons as are carried in system at times.

7. Heart's action, as given, that subnormal.

8. Digestive system is as of the effect of a nerve disturbance, and is nervous digestions, as is indicated in the duodenum as WELL as at times in the cardiac end of stomach. This a spasmodic reaction from nerve disturbance in the mesenteric system.

9. In the liver and the digestive system as related to the secretions necessary for proper assimilations, these working under nerve tension, show the distress to which they are put at times. Days the body feels better, others there is seen distresses and heaviness throughout. Pains across the whole of the diaphragm, as well as through the ileum plexus.

10. In meeting the needs, the variations in the whole of eliminations must be first taken into consideration; for with distresses that affect the glands - as WELL as the organs - these must be considered in the light of the necessary coordination of the eliminating system to that produced in the system, creating the character of that necessary vibratory force to meet the NEEDS as the system attempts to adjust itself and carry off the drosses; or else we may form those conditions where poisons separate themselves, PRODUCING that of a plethora in any soft tissue or emunctory body where the poisons would accumulate.

11. Then, we would first rest the body from those of much exercise, giving those of the eliminant that may be obtained

5458-1 Page 3

through those of citrous fruits only; oranges, lemons, grapefruit and such. This should be continued for at least a period of six to seven days. WATER may be taken, but NOT those of heavy or of undigested foods. Milk in SMALL quantities. PREFERABLY, though, that of the dried, or of the malted nature.

12. Then, we would begin with that of very small doses of Oil of Juniper, that that condition in the hepatic circulation, in the mesenteric system, in those of the pelvic organs, may receive that stimuli as will aid the activities of the kidneys, relieving the pressure from that of the improper vibratory rate between kidneys and liver. This should be kept up only for three days, beginning on the third day of the citrous fruit eliminant with manipulations to REDUCE those pressures in the system.

13. After the Juniper is given, and the body rests, THEN begin - every third day - to make those corrections in the lower dorsal, the lumbar and the sacral, as will relieve this pressure that causes the disturbances through the system. Leaving off those of the stimuli for the system as related to the kidney and liver, and begin with the diet that will aid the body to get the proper equilibrium in an alkalin reaction; giving meat JUICES but plenty of those of the oils that aid in CLEANSING and building up the system. Olive oil, codliver oil, juices of the liver, also those of tripe - whether hog or beef - PREFERABLY the juice from the hog tripe. THIS will aid in REDUCING, especially the plethora condition in the emunctories, and retard that of the pressure in the nerves as related to the replenishing of blood building materials.

14. Do this, and we will bring the near normal condition for this body, [5458]. Ready for questions.

15. (Q) What should be the dosage of the Juniper and how often given? (A) One to two minims once each day.

16. (Q) What osteopath would be best? (A) One that knows his business! and will follow the suggestions as are given, not follow their own!

17. That is all the questions.

18. Do this as has been given, and we will find relief, and much may be accomplished by this body, will it respond - or react to that as has JUST been given. We are through. Copy to Self " " Ass'n office " " Cayce Hospital
