1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [5475]. Now, in the physical forces of the body we find there are disturbances that bring to the physical activities of the physical and mental body reactions that distort the activities from their normal functioning. These have to do principally with the nervous systems, and the effect these conditions produce upon the physical organisms of the body.
2. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [5475] we are speaking of, present in this room:
3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY OF THE BODY, this, we will find, would not be in accord with normal conditions; neither would we find that the tests of the condition being the same were they made in different times, or even different periods of the same day. In their reactions the variations would be.
4. IN THE NERVE SYSTEMS, we find the basis or the seat, or the cause of the troubles.
5. In the study of the pathological conditions, these would be interesting - especially to a psychiatrist, or to a psychoanalyst; for the EFFECTS created are of the neurotic or PHYSICAL reaction, rather than of wholly a psychopathic condition. Then, the pathology would be, that there is obstruction in the reactions in incentives received to the sympathetic and sensory system, in their proper return of the same vibrations to the functioning of the organs in the system, as is attempted to be given by the reaction of the mental body to that outside itself. Not, then, wholly a mental condition; not, then, wholly the physical condition, but that inter-between wherein, unless changes ARE brought, MUST bring destructive forces to the mental body and the physical body in its last analysis; yet taken, and consideration given to each in its activity to the physical functionings of the body, this may be brought to where the physical reactions will coordinate throughout the system. The centers particularly involved are those of the solar
5475-1 Page 2
plexus and the secondary cardiac. Hence those effects of the pressures at times to the head, and the reaction to the extremities, wherein the circulation seems - or apparently is - cut off from same, through the inability of the return of the blood supply as is carried to various portions of the system. Also there is seen, that the tendency of dizziness as comes from those pressures as are produced in the solar plexus, those reactions as come to the tendency of nausea, as comes from the hypogastric and the pneumogastric effect in the reactions of the nerve system, attempting to bring about coordination between the sympathetic and the cerebrospinal system. Too little importance is too often given by those who would aid in bringing a normal force for a body suffering under even dementia, that relationship between the sympathetic and the cerebrospinal nervous systems; for in almost every condition - even as in this - there is found that the centers from which the radial forces of impulse by reaction of the mental body - that is, the SENSORY system - to the sympathetic forces, in those centers where they connect with the cerebrospinal - the cerebrospinal, then, in as the brain's reaction to the PHYSICAL, or the MATERIAL body; while those of the SYMPATHETIC system are more those of the reaction to the MENTAL being, or the MENTAL body; these MUST coordinate, that the reactions in a PHYSICAL body bring about the proper reactions.
6. In the accord, as these conditions in this body bring to the physical functionings, as we find here in the brain forces, there are hindrances to the reaction as is brought in the functioning of the coordinating, or that of the impulse being governed to the brain center itself - or, if we would term it in common parlance, the VALVES are leaking in the brain centers for this body. Not dementia, no - but at the base of the brain, through the medulla oblongata, there is a lesion forming. RID the body first of this! That at the 1st and 2nd cervical. Where does same receive its impulses? That in the 2nd DORSAL center, where those of the secondary cardiacs react. Hence the variation in impulses through the circulation, the variation as comes to the reaction of the digestive system, the variation in the reactions as come to all organisms. Has it been considered by the body as to the variations that come to the genitive system through that reaction that has appeared in this? These come, then, through that of the pineal, and its effect to the body.
7. Then, in bringing about normalcy for the body, this may be brought - but a GREATER portion of that as is to take
5475-1 Page 3
place in the system must be accomplished by itself! though it should be, and must be, guided and aided by outside influences, as will have material effect upon the physical, mental, and the ACTIVITIES of same in this body.
8. Then, we would REST at stated periods. Make for the body that of a SYSTEMATIC reaction. So many hours of rest; so many hours of this exercise; so many hours of that exercise, as will affect the mental, as will affect the physical, and keep - through the proper manipulation, especially considering those centers in the upper cervical, those in the upper dorsal and the solar plexus region - as to bring COORDINATIONS in their reaction. Not that ADJUSTMENTS, no - but that the massaging and the using of the physical body, and the structural portions, as leverages, that we release the ganglia and the centers through which impulses to the system are carried to the various functionings of the system, and we will find that we will BRING the near NORMAL reactions in the body.
9. These, we would find, would be helpful - that the body would rest in sand - salty sand - in water. Low vibrations in electrical reactions, that coordination is brought to the system. Ready for questions.
10. (Q) What electrical treatment should be given? (A) This would be well to alter or to change in the various reactions set up. The reactions to the capillary stimulation would be those of the plain violet ray, and especially those in the bottom of the feet, along the sciatic and along the brachial centers. THESE will aid. These will bring renewed vitality to this portion of the system. The deeper THERAPY will be helpful. These, especially, should be applied to solar plexus and to the 1st and 2nd cervical center.
11. (Q) How should the sand treatment be given, and where? (A) Where there's plenty of salt and sand. This would be well in the present districts, for the body should be wet - then buried in dry sand.
12. (Q) Is the case curable? If so, approximately how long? (A) Curable, sure - it's curable! How long? How hard will the body NOT try, but just get well!
13. (Q) What diet? (A) That, that will be the near balance between the activities of the acid and the alkalin; NOT an over alkalin, not an over acid - but a WELL BALANCED diet. Balanced according to the amount of physical and mental exertion as is expended, and supply those needs as will build UP that used. Small quantities of Chloride of Gold given, will aid the

body also. This would be well, were it added WITH an essence of Wild Ginseng, made in this proportion - but be able to take care of the conditions this will create! The action to the GENITIVE system, the action to the lyden [Leydig] glands - which will NEED attention, as given. Then, we would prepare same as this: Prepare separate, but take together. Chloride of Gold 10 grains to 8 ounces of DISTILLED water. The wild ginseng 2 ounces to 16 ounces of water, and reduced to 8 ounces by slow boiling - boiling same in containers that are covered, and when taken - take in half glass of water 3 drops of the Gold solution and 4 drops of the Wild Ginseng. We are through for the present. Copy to Dr. Lydic (to be delivered to patient on leaving hospital) " " Ass'n office " " Cayce Hospital
