1. EC: We have the body here, [5475] - this we have had before. Changes in the physical conditions are seen; some for the betterment, some are not so good; yet will the body keep much of those conditions as have been outlined for the body, the responses - AS the body in its mental attitude towards self and conditions change - will also be helpful and beneficial. Keep those of the eliminations in as near normal as possible. When there are the strains as come from those of centers as are seen in a state of irritation, in lumbar and sacral region, these will be found to respond most to that of heat and of those conditions taken INTERNALLY as will LESSEN the acid forces in system, and that will make for more eliminations through alimentary canal. These are the conditions as we find. Ready for questions.

2. (Q) How long before relief will be given in lumbar and sacral region? (A) As soon as there may be the thorough RELAXING of the body through this region. By heat and by the applications of those properties that will tend to relieve the pressure, and by the action of eliminations generally. Well were there altered between the external applications, those of a mixture of wintergreen and witchhazel; of course, made not too strong, and HEAT applied; also those of the Epsom Salts. These will act as much with the mental forces and with the conditions in system in relaxing same, see? These will not overtax either the kidneys or the glands through the system in this region. The manipulations as are necessary for distribution of energy along the lower extremities, these are necessary - but not so much as to PRODUCE irritation, rather than of aiding.

3. (Q) Should the heat be applied as stupes? (A) May be applied either as stupes or with heavy packs

with pads, or such, applied OVER same. Well were several thicknesses used of any cloth that holds moisture well, and hot salt or that of electric pad placed over same. This tends to steam and to drive IN, see?

4. (Q) How should witchhazel and wintergreen be given? (A) To 4 to 6 ounces of water, add 1 ounce of witchhazel, 1/2 ounce of the wintergreen. Use this over the pads, and then apply heat, see?

5. (Q) How often osteopathic treatments? (A) When pains are severe, or when there is the general debilitation, the GENTLE treatment may be given once each day, or every other or every third day. When NOT severe, once each week would be that as necessary to keep the normalcy in the distribution.

6. (Q) Is proper diet given? (A) Diet is very good.

7. (Q) How much longer will it be necessary for this body to stay at hospital? (A) As long as the body feels it's necessary and until the conditions are improved.

8. That is all the questions regarding this body.
