1. [257]: You will now have before you, [257], present in this room; also all his associations, especially with [5502] and her associates. We all now come for guidance for both of these parties and their associates for the protection of Edgar Cayce and the development of the work that he stands for. Will you kindly advise us as to the next meeting and its organization and then answer the questions which we will ask.
2. EC: Rather a large order in one. In considering the associations of each as are mentioned, [257], [5502], Edgar Cayce, and what this work as manifest stands for; there should be no individual as shows or expresses a desire for aid or to be of aid, not considered by all concerned, for God [is] not a respector of persons as man, for he that doeth the will of the Father, the same [is] respected by the Angels and the Powers that control those forces as man is lent in this earth's experience.
3. In meeting, then consider the varied spheres of activity and the individual as well as the group, the class, the masses as has oft been given. First to the individual, then to classes, then to masses. [Consider] that there appears in the present a momentous period of opportunity for the development of, the acknowledging of the ability for, groups as groups, individuals as individuals, to play to or act an important part in same.
4. First, let each examine themselves and know within themselves whether they be about to drink of that cup necessary to be drained to the last dreg, as to whether they will present themselves, their bodies, their minds, as a living sacrifice wholly [holy] and acceptable unto Him, the giver of All Good and Perfect gifts; for whosoever will may come, and the door is open, and "if ye will enter and abide with Me, as ye will be My people, so will I be thy God."
5. In this approach and in this manner, not as a service to self, not as a laudation of an idea, that others may be belittled in their efforts as may or may not have been turned aside, but rather that many may know there is a staff

in Israel; there is a star in Egypt; there is a laudation of the powers, not of man's own individual forces. Let each rather be that channel through which the peoples everywhere may know God is in His throne and all may approach same, without fear, without trembling. Fear begetteth that that makes afraid; for through fear man wanders far afield. In that manner let each approach the subject [with] an eye single of service to thine fellow-man.
6. (Q) What kind of physical organization can and should [5502] form or aid to be formed for the best development of the work? (A) First, let self be sanctified in that to be attempted. Then, as has been given, offer the opportunity for others to aid in making known that as may be found through these channels that each may know themselves. In the material plane, to be sure, a physical organization is to be, and should be, perfected. Let not the organization, [but] rather that it stands for [be] that lauded or praised; and as the WILL and purpose is set in motion, such as shall be of aid will be added day by day.
7. (Q) What particular position is she best suited for in the new work? (A) Directing others.
8. (Q) Should [257], plan to devote his entire time to the work as he has planned and how can he accomplish it now? (A) Rather not as he has planned. Let him prepare himself as God has planned. Be a channel of blessing, not tell the forces nor God, how to do His work; how to contact individuals, how to interest individuals. Rather be that channel through which individuals may give an opportunity to approach the throne itself, and cast not thine pearls before swine nor so conduct thine own self that thine good is evil-spoken of nor thine evils are good-spoken of. Let the day be sufficient unto the evils thereof, for thoughts are deeds and may become miracles or crimes. For in the association of individuals one with another, as in the physical organization, as this develops in such a way and manner as the whole services of the body may be given, has it been sanctified, purified, clarified, as to its purposes and aims, then the way and the manner will be shown. As conditions of the material natures clarify themselves, as they will, do not mix material conditions with spiritual forces. Do not attempt to serve God and mammon. Do not serve thine neighbor with the one hand and draw from his pocket with the other. Rather let thy yeas be yeas and thy nay be nay, knowing that that as is given for the increase

[is] from the Giver of all things.
9. (Q) From whom came this beautiful message? (A) From self. Oft has this very condition confronted self, and as to whether to be able to put on again [as Nadab - See 257-5] those royal robes, and to prevent from offering the strange fires on the altars of the throne, has come to the self; and would the entity, the soul, be again associated in that love that makes for purity before the throne, the decisions in the flesh must be made.
10. (Q) What can [257] further do in his daily life to show himself more approved unto the Giver of these gifts? (A) Study to show thyself approved unto God, avoiding the appearances of evil, knowing that as the acts of thine going-ins and coming-outs [are] that reflection of the God ye would serve. If that God be money, power, position, fame, these must reflect in the lives and the life of the acts of self. Will those forces as were made manifest as of old when Abraham [was] called to go out to make a peculiar people, a different nation, so again may the body hear that called as when offering in the temple that "Mine people have wandered astray", yet in the little here, the word there, the precept and example, may they again know Jehovah in His Holy Place. Necessary that each individual have their own problems given that attention as seemeth to them necessary, but as and when ones [are] well-grounded in the truths of the universe that may know through that given them that the spirit is life, the spirit of service is strength, and [that it] aids in every condition in man's experience.
11. (Q) Who was [257] during that period of Abraham? (A) Walked with Abraham. [See note in 257-10, Par. 27.]
12. (Q) Is the name given? (A) One who stood at the tent when the call was that as given, "I will make of thee a strange nation." Not in the flesh. Later in the flesh as was seen [when] the body [257] offered strange fires on the altar in the word of mouth in that that led many astray [as Nadab]. Now the body [is] given the opportunity in this experience to make for a cleansing of that experience.
13. We are through.
