Time of Reading 3:50 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: We have the body here. Now, we find there are complications with the physical functioning. These bring distress, distraughtness at times to the physical functioning of the organs of the body. These are rather functional in their nature, and these, as we may find, may be aided to gain the nearer normal cooperation or collaboration one with another, thus bringing about better conditions and the near normal physical forces for the body.
2. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, Mrs. [5522] we are speaking of. First:
3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find below normal in quality and quantity, produced principally from the inability of proper assimilation in or for the system. Hence the low vitality, and the necessity of aiding the system through this direction.
4. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM we find the greater cause for distress, for with the run-down condition as experienced by the body through that of contamination through congestion and poisons created in and for the system, these have produced for the body - especially through the vegetative nerve system - those conditions as produce, both to certain cerebrospinal centers as well as to the sympathetic nerve system, such distraughtness in the reaction from nerve plexus and nerve action as to incapacitate the functioning of organs governed thereby. Hence we find most of the organs as related to the functioning of digestion, of the assimilation, of the proper eliminations, hindered in their normal activity. Hence the changes as are seen and the assistance as is lent to the body by the stimulation of any nerve plexus as governs the system in the direction of these portions of the functioning organism, for that that aids the body to bring better elimination or better distribution of that as is taken for sustenance aids the body.
5. THE FUNCTIONING ORGANS are as distraught, or functioning
5522-1 Page 2
occasionally near normal, again much below normal, again changing in their activity.
6. Then, to meet the needs of the conditions for this body at the present time, we would add that to the system that will aid in bringing the nearer normal equilibrium in the system. It will be found necessary to change these conditions from time to time, yet, as the developments show in the applications of the vibrations as will be set up, these may be changed with the proper relationships to the development of the conditions.
7. We would not discontinue the stimulations for the nerve plexus and centers through the cervical and upper dorsal, and occasionally there should be for the whole system those manipulations that will aid the body in gaining stimuli for locomotion, for heart's action, for brain retraction, for the stimulation of the liver, and of the digestive system. We would use those nearer between that of the osteopathic and the chiropractic application, for the MUSCULAR forces as well as plexus or centers must be released in their activity. Tautness will be found as necessary to create as it is to relax.
8. We would also ADD, though, this - as the properties to aid in digestion and in the proper vibrations as will be set up in the system: We would prepare first as the carrier, this: Take 4 ounces of wild cherry bark, put in 8 ounces distilled water. Reduce by simmering, or very slow boiling, to at least 6 ounces. Then add: Simple Syrup......................2 ounces, Compound Syrup of Sarsaparilla....1 ounce, Tincture Stillingia.............1/2 ounce, Syrup of Rhubarb.................60 minims, Oil of Sassafras.................20 minims, Elixir Calisaya.................1/2 ounce, Essence of Elixir, or Tincture of Elder Flower.....1/4 ounce, Tincture Capsici..................2 minims. Cut 1 dram Balsam of Tolu in 1 and 1/2 ounces grain alcohol and add to solution.
9. Shake solution together before the dose is taken. The dose should be half teaspoonful every 4 hours. When the body rests we would not disturb same for medicinal properties.
10. Well that, occasionally, cool - not cold, but tepid or
5522-1 Page 3
cool enemas be used to cleanse the colon. As the vibrations are increased, the tendency will be through these properties to eliminate more normally through the alimentary canal. Hence this precaution.
11. Be careful also of the diet, that it - the diet - is kept in an alkalin reaction. Nothing that will create too much of the activities of the hydrochloric forces of system should be eaten or taken. Broths, or juices of meats - but no flesh should be taken. Beef juice would be excellent for the body taken as medicine, or as doses - teaspoonful at a time, or as improvement is shown tablespoonful at time may be taken. Those properties of the juices also of vegetables will be better than too much of the pulp itself, though we will find - for pulp - that those of whole wheat gruels or oatens may be taken.
12. Do this, then, for at least twenty-six (26) days. Then we would give the changes and that necessary to bring a near normal condition.
13. The manipulations should be given at least ONCE each day, or to make REST may be given later in the evening, gently - but not too severe.
14. Add also those vibrations as will be found in the Radio-Active Appliance. THIS will assist in producing equilibrium through the system and aid in the vibrations as are created from the properties given for their activity.
15. The carrier, to be sure, is that of the syrup with the first bark. This to aid the respiratory system, also sarsaparilla as a cleanser diathetic, and a purifier, as is also the stillingia and the properties as are in the other carriers. That of the rhubarb as the laxative for the activities in the liver, with the lacteal ducts. Those of the stimuli in the capsici, also in that of the oil of sassafras, acting as the stimuli to the nerve reactions as they are stimulated through the manipulation.
16. The active forces of the battery appliance are those of the vibrations as will accord the nerve systems one with another in their active forces with the purification of the blood stream itself. Ready for questions.
17. (Q) Should manipulative treatments be changed? (A) Only in the manner as has been given; that is, they may be given once each day or they may be given twice, if the latter part is GENTLY given. As to the character, keep them nearer between the osteopathic and chiropractic in their application; for in one we have adjustments as release nerve tension; as related to the nerve system in the other we have both as may be applied to muscular AND nerve tension. Hence the combination here.

18. (Q) Is the concussion as given alright? (A) That very good.
19. (Q) What is the organic condition of the heart? (A) Operating under the weakened condition of a relaxed nerve system, that allows an OVER activity. Hence the tension as has been given that should be created, and that as is being applied through the active forces of the battery will aid most here.
20. (Q) What is the condition of the liver? Is it better now than it was? (A) Oh, the body wouldn't have lasted without changes here, for all blood passes through this, in either that of the excretory or secretive functioning for the system. Keep the stimuli as is to be given in the medicinal properties, and with those of the manipulations for the organs as has been given we will bring the better forces for this body, [5522].
21. (Q) Is the ultra red ray pad good? (A) Good - but not so good in this case, if we will apply these other forces.
22. (Q) How is the E. R. V. machine? (A) Be better as the condition develops, if we will apply these other appliances at the present, for the stimuli as created there stimulates too much the sympathetic nerve system without respect of the vegetative or the cerebrospinal reaction in same. This will be more beneficial to the body as conditions develop, than at the present time.
23. (Q) Is goat's milk better than cow's milk? (A) Better in this condition.
24. (Q) How long will it take the body to recover? (A) Dependent upon the reactions as are set up in the system. It should be in at least three to four changes of twenty-six days' duration each.
25. (Q) Is there a growth on the valve of the heart, as has been claimed? (A) There is not!
26. (Q) Is there any tuberculosis present anywhere in the body? (A) That as known as tuberculosis or bacilli of tuberculosis is not active in the body. That weakened condition as is apparent with a relaxed condition through the system is present, but the stimuli as has been aiding the body is releasing such forces that, if these are given proper nourishment and proper building with these forces as have been set forth for the system, we will bring the better conditions for the body, and a near normal reaction - but let's do it in a manner that one portion of system does not suffer at the expense of the other!
