1. (Q) GKN: You will tell us Mr. Cayce, if there is any oil to be found in paying quantities on this tract of land [Property of Palatka Farms Company]. Can you locate anything of value on this tract, Mr. Cayce? (A) EC: Have not as yet, trying to get it.
2. (Q) All of this property is in Putnam County, Florida, Mr. Cayce, due South from East Palatka. (A) We have it here.
3. (Q) Tell us Mr. Cayce, if there is any oil to be found in paying quantities on this property. (A) We have it here. In the Southeastern part of this property you will find there is gas, with a little oil, but not in any paying quantities on the rest of the land. On the South and East portion. The water strata that underlies with these on the inside, or that is on the Western edge come off to the strata that lines - the escape of that which is far below this part of the country. We then have some 60 to 70 miles before it strikes against the wall in which the oil is kept and we would have in this portion of this acreage we have here there is another wall runs along the Eastern edge, in which there is some little oil and a very good depth at which it would be found. Only this portion of the land would be good. ... [words missing?] if development was done still further over the East from this portion of the land, but not on this land.
4. (Q) What depth would we get this oil, Mr. Cayce? (A) At 3200 to 3300 feet.
5. (Q) Hard drilling? (A) Not hard drilling until it struck about 2400 or 2500 feet. There would be some water to take care of.
6. (Q) What quantities would we get at 3500 feet, Mr. Cayce? (A) At 3300 and 3400 to 3500 feet, in various places here four to six million cubic feet of gas, and 25 to 30 barrels of oil per day.
7. (Q) Will this be of long duration, Mr. Cayce? (A) It will be of pretty long duration.
8. (Q) Can you give us the exact location of where this well should be drilled, Mr. Cayce, please?

(A) In the Southern and Eastern portion of this land - 50 rods from the boundary line in the Southeastern corner - we come to a cross line fence, just in the edge of this field here, and from there would be where it would be drilled.
9. (Q) Is there any particular land marks by which? (A) There is a fence and a cross section of the fence.
10. (Q) Fifty rods from this fence? (A) As we have given it here in the Southeastern corner, 50 rods from the corner to the fence.
