1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, we find there are MANY disturbing factors with the physical forces of this body, and under various conditions as may exist at times in the system the conditions may be described, or may be termed or called - most anything; for the complications are such that many portions of system are involved, but these same conditions - taken LITERALLY, and with the resistance as IS manifested - they shouldn't amount to anything!

2. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, [5552] we are speaking of, present in this room. First:

3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, here, with this itself may be seen the variations as are manifested in the physical forces of the body. Taken under some conditions, or at some periods, we would find a low blood count, a low blood pressure, a subnormal temperature. At others we would find a near normal temperature, with a tendency of a full or high pressure. This varying according to the effects as are created in the various functionings of the system. These will be seen why, and how. Also there may be seen in the blood, in a test, that there is bacilli carried, and NOT free wholly from strept.

4. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, OR SYSTEMS, here we find the real seat or cause of conditions, though there are effects in the functioning of organs that would indicate - at times - disturbances, or ORGANIC disturbances, rather than purely functional; but - as WE find - these ARE WHOLLY functional, at this time.

5. In the cerebrospinal system, we find this has been so OVERTAXED that at times the whole of the functional system REFUSES to work! The body has BURNED the candles at both ends, as may be LITERALLY said, for the taxing of the physical forces AND mental forces as WELL does destroy the equilibrium and the coordination with the functional

conditions of organs. As is indicated in the plexus from which both the pyloric and cardiac plexus radiate, there we have troubles both with the lung AND to the stomach proper. These plexus being in a state of subjugation to the reaction of the sympathetic system, cause a regurgitation, and lacerations in the pyloric end of stomach, and the tendency of the lungs in the left lower end - which comes in sympathy with the activities of the cardiac end of the plexus, causes depressions, and this - well, better would it be expressed - GONE feeling as comes at times. These are PURELY REFLEX! Don't worry about them being ANY nature of malignancy, for they are NOT!

6. In the reactions between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal, the abilities of the physical body to come back - as it were - may be THOROUGHLY demonstrated in THIS body, [5552] we are speaking of; for with the rest sufficient to the MENTAL, and sufficient activity of the PHYSICAL - in a DIFFERENT direction, will REJUVENATE the whole system. That's principally what's needed by THIS body.

7. In the effects as we find created in the functional, or the ORGANS OF THE SYSTEM:

8. Brain forces are good.

9. With the development of the intuitive reactions of the system, the sympathetic coordinating with the sensory system and rebellent to the use of the physical or cerebrospinal - THIS brings the greater disturbance. Not that the conditions are imaginary, no! Rather that the sympathetic system EXAGGERATES the condition, as a WARNING to the body, will the mental body but HEED, taking ADVANTAGE of the conditions as being active, and will the body use discretion and use the proper precautions BEFORE there ARE such conditions as BECOME organic - through constant strain - the body may build into the system a full, whole, resuscitation to the physical functioning of the body.

10. The throat, bronchia and lungs - these show at times the effect of that plexus disturbance in the secondary and cardiac plexus, that causes dryness - and tendency of the mucus in the nasal and throat to become irritant. Well that, for THIS condition - occasionally - once a day, or once every other day - dependent upon the condition - that an ordinary solution of Dobell's salts be used, as a wash, douche, inhalant, or to CLEANSE the nostrils and throat with. This will tend to give sufficient to the mucus producing portions of that part of the system, that elasticity, that necessary reaction through the absorptions as will come from same, to CLARIFY the conditions.

11. The open air, the oxygen from salt, sand, pines, and such - will do MORE healing for the lungs, for the oxidization of the system in a proper manner, than all the MEDICINE that might be given; for, with the system under strain, medicines - or anything of that nature - would become harmful, rather than beneficial.

12. In the heart's action and the blood supply, with these conditions there must be considered the digestive system and the conditions as have existed - and show effects of yet in the stomach, or the pyloric end, in the duodenum, and about the pancreas and liver. The digestive system must be kept where there is the proper assimilation of that taken in the system. These will be found necessary to alter from time to time. When there is found that any food DISAGREES don't tempt it! Try something else! but mostly those that will BUILD for more iron, more oxygen, more sulphur in the system - THESE will be found to ASSIMILATE the better. As much of the milk diet as is possible for the body to assimilate, whether in the fresh milk, dried milk, or the combinations of same - and foods and vegetables - don't leave out the meats wholly, but not those that IRRITATE. These will add to the system, that the heart's action, the pressure, the tendency of the system to show the excess of strept in system, will be entirely reduced. No fevers will occur. While these may come occasionally, but it will be because of worry and of OVER ACTIVITY of the body towards self's condition! Forget it!

13. In the activity of the liver and the hepatic circulation, the EFFECT that this condition has had at times upon the lower hepatic circulation, the kidneys, and the lower system - this is the attempt of the system to BALANCE itself.

14. Then, to meet the needs:

15. At least once each day, a GENTLE massage over the whole of the cerebrospinal and sympathetic nerve system. Not what is ordinarily termed an osteopathic massage even, though this may be given osteopathically. Rather following the nerves of the sympathetic system, and MANIPULATE those WITH the centers of the cerebrospinal that JOIN in their various centers. TWICE each week OSTEOPATHIC adjustments should be made in the cervical, the upper dorsal, and the lower dorsal and upper lumbar.

16. Keep in the open air as much as possible. Exercise in the open air. Walk, ride, or keep out of doors. Golf, croquet, or any exercise that keeps out is well.

17. DON'T be afraid to eat when hungry!

18. Keep the mind ACTIVE, but BLANK as to worry! Ready for

questions.

19. (Q) Is the partial hernia in the left ring dangerous? (A) Not DANGEROUS, if the proper precautions as to the eliminations of the system and the taxing of the system is not OVERDONE, see?

20. (Q) Any further advice or instruction for this body? (A) In three weeks we would give further suggestions for conditions as may exist and the response to those as have been outlined. Well were the body to - once each week - relax self WELL with the sweats, that are followed with a salt and alcohol rub, but don't sweat so much as to cause other than proper CAPILLARY reaction. Let the salt rubs be along the spine, and ESPECIALLY across the LUMBAR and across the sacral plexuses, that the body may absorb sufficient of the calciums to aid the blood in resuscitating itself, and the alcohol rub FOLLOWING - that the CAPILLARIES may gain LIFE through the activities of the system being closed to the reactions. Once each week. In THREE weeks we would give further suggestions. We are through for the present.
