1. LBC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions; also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.

2. EC: We have the body here.

3. Now, we find there are those physical conditions with this body that need correction. There are those disturbances throughout the physical functioning of the organs that bring distress to the body in DIFFERENT ways and manners.

4. These are the conditions as WE find them with this body, [5556] we are speaking of, present in this room.

5. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find sufficient in quantity, over sufficient or abnormal at times in its quality - for the eliminations being hindered, and the disturbance in the circulation, especially through the respiratory system, leaves in various portions of the tissue - especially in muscle and sinew, or in leverage centers - those drosses that cause distress to the body. These drosses as yet have not reached the proportions as they may be called a chronic condition, neither has that which produces same as leakage in the system become chronic. While those physical conditions as have existed in portions of the body where disturbance comes to the pulmonaries and the respiratory system HAS brought a chronic condition, the removal of the cause would change the conditions in the whole of the eliminating condition in body, and of that as necessary to replenish and rebuild - though would be hard for it to be absolutely NORMAL again, yet the condition may be improved until the better part will be relieved from the body, see?

6. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, in this we find there are those conditions in the cerebrospinal system where hindrances have caused pressure and strain on various portions of the body. In times back - twelve - eighteen years ago - we find there were those conditions that assisted or aided in the correction of the pressure in the nerve system, yet this was

5556-1 Page 2

not entirely removed, and the condition - with the general debilitation of the body, and with the excess of drosses left in system through non-elimination - has gradually brought on the pressure and the stress as is seen through the pulmonaries and in bronchials and larynx.

7. IN THE ORGANS OF THE BODY, here we find the reflex conditions of that existent in the physical force, as well as the result in the organs proper from the existent disturbance in the body; that is, as is seen in throat, bronchials and larynx - here we find the effect of thickened tissue, of thinned membranous conditions that become easily irritated with any undue pressure or any undue filling of the lungs proper with blood or with impure air - for this thinning condition is easily susceptible to the changes, causing the pressure as is produced by such experience. The cause of this, then, being that the nerve centers radiating from the sympathetic or secondary cardiac plexus, radiating to the central plexus of the lung proper, are in a state of subluxation by being submerged or impinged to the point where the over tautness is the result of the condition as has so long existed in the lungs, bronchials and larynx.

8. The removal of pressure, the restoration of nerve energy and of the normal condition in the body, would bring the relief from these disturbances. This may be brought about NEARLY to a normal condition. That as is seen in the disturbances produced from properties taken in system to relieve this pressure in the respiratory and pulmonary system, acting in the form of sedative, has so disturbed the functioning of the liver and the hepatic circulation as to prevent the normal eliminations through either the respiratory system or the drosses of the alimentary canal, or the drainage through kidneys proper. Hence, with this overtaxed condition, with this subluxation and with these conditions as bring about the lack of elimination, the extremities and the joints and the locomotory centers suffer from tissue becoming involved in inflammatory manner through the condition produced ABOUT same by these poisons.

9. This will require time, care, attention, and the care of diet and of the body as respecting cold and heat.

10. Many changes will be necessary from time to time as respecting those things to be administered to the body, yet consistency and persistency should be used - for we are to meet some conditions, as is seen, that have become as a portion of the system, and these are to find retractions, with spells when there will apparently seem that no good has been accomplished; yet these are the reactions as must set in - for where impingement has existed for a great length of

5556-1 Page 3

time, loosening the inactivity of the system, or that unaccustomed activity of the system through those channels, will bring about pressure that will cause distresses; yet these - as we see - being overcome through those channels as will be outlined for the body, may bring the better conditions to this body here, [5556] we are speaking of.

11. These, then, we would apply for the PRESENT conditions. First we would have five to eight osteopathic adjustments of the cerebrospinal centers, especially those from the 9th to the 2nd cervical. More of these will be needed later, but these - following every other day - have these ADJUSTMENTS made, see?

12. Beginning with the first adjustment, take one pellet Calcidin each evening when the body is ready to retire, see?

13. For the condition in the extremities and the limbs, the body will find the best through the use of that of Toris Compound, using that quantity as is given - tablespoonful three times each day. Let at least three quantities be taken before any let-up is made in these properties.

14. After the second half of the quantity is taken, begin with Violet Ray. Take this over the centers of the locomotion, especially, twice each DAY for a few minutes, see? increasing the amount until twenty-five or thirty minutes of the treatment may be applied to these centers and over those portions of the body that are disturbed.

15. The diet has been very good for the body, see? This may be changed though from time to time to meet the needs of the conditions. The body will find that those vegetables that grow ABOVE the ground are better for the body than those that grow beneath the ground - these we would prefer to be used with the first outlined treatment. Meats in moderation, but NEVER any hog meat. Wild game may be taken in moderation, and a little fish and fowl - but no hog meat. Rather the juices of the meat than that of the flesh itself, but as much green vegetables as is possible for the body to well assimilate - but leave off sugars and starches. Sweets are not good and will produce irritation as changes are made.

16. Do this, and when this has been carried out for at least thirty days we would then give further suggestions for this body.

17. (Q) Any serum this body could take to prevent colds? (A) Rather keep this inhalant handy and we will find this will prevent the body from taking or contracting cold from others, or from the general condition, save by draft or by getting the feet or head damp. To four ounces of pure grain alcohol, add:

5556-1 Page 4

Eucalyptol.......................20 minims, Benzosol.........................15 minims, Benzoin..........................10 minims, Rectified Oil of Turp.............5 minims, Canadian Balsam...................5 minims, Tincture of Tolu in Solution.....35 minims. Keep this in container with glass stopper at least twice to three times the size of the solution. Shake solution before inhalation is taken. This, as we see, will stop coughing, and will also relieve tightness in chest or what makes the conditions appear, and PREVENT the body from taking cold. When exposed to those where cold may be taken, keep this near and inhale often. Inhale through the mouth and through the nostrils.

18. (Q) Is this climate suitable for this body? (A) It suits the body for the asthmatic condition, and is hard on the body for the arthritic condition; yet this climatic condition is better than cold or extreme heat. Higher altitude, but near the same climatic condition, would be better for both. Though WE would give, as has been given, for the present surroundings.

19. (Q) Would it be better in southeast Canada? (A) Southeast Canada in the woods would be WELL. On the waterway, BAD.

20. We are through for the present.
