1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, we find there are those conditions as cause disturbance in the physical functioning of the organs as related to this body. These have to do rather with the functioning of organs than of organic disturbance. There are elements that create a slow, or low, temperature at periods. This tendency to rise and fall has been hard to be understood, and is of a rather subtle nature. The effect that this produces on the blood supply naturally takes the vitality, the strength, and the weakness as follows from same has been discouraging. Not that the body is so seriously ill, or that it is such a serious condition, but a very aggravating one - and one that would necessarily terminate in serious conditions; for without proper precautions most ANY condition - as related to organs and organic conditions - may arise. Weakness through the lung, the same through the digestive system, and the torpidity of the liver and the inactivity or overactivity (which both occur) in the hepatics, brings the greater liabilities to the body. These hindrances, as we find, are produced rather from those tendencies, inclinations, and dis-application of self in and through those inclinations as come from the body internally; that is, the TENDENCY at the period of the present experience is toward certain conditions - the weakness of the digestive system toward assimilation. Not that the body is incapable of digesting, but of assimilating properly. Hence disturbances have come about the glands that carry same into the system, and inflammation there produces the temperature in the body. The body has labored under a physical and mental strain, and with this comes the depletion of the body.
2. To meet these at the present time we will find it will be necessary for a consistent and persistent application of the various conditions as must be met at this time.
3. First, for at least ten days we would take this, as to

create the proper relation of the system in its vibratory forces as related to that of the distributing forces throughout the system:
4. To 16 ounces distilled water, add:
Wild Cherry Bark.....................4 ounces, Sarsaparilla Root....................2 ounces.
Reduce by boiling slowly to at least half the quantity. Then strain and add 4 ounces of cane sugar and reduce again to near half the quantity, see? Then add this:
Tincture of Stillingia.............1/4 ounce, Elixir Calisaya....................1/2 ounce, 10% solution Iodide of Potassium...1/2 ounce, Tincture of Capsici..................2 minims, Pure Grain Alcohol, with 2 drams Balsam of Tolu cut in it..........2 ounces.
Shake solution well together before the dose is taken. The dose should be half a teaspoonful every three hours. Take this for eight to ten days.
5. In the meantime, keep the eliminating system well active, see? Then, at the end of this period - not while this is being taken, but at the end of the eight to ten day period - begin with manipulations OSTEOPATHICALLY given to distribute and relieve pressure on system. Hence we will find every other treatment would be for the deep tissue, while every OTHER treatment would be for the exterior, or to the capillary circulation - applying after the deep manipulations are given, to the cerebrospinal system, the Alpine or Ultra Violet Ray. When the EXTERIOR is treated, apply the VIOLET Ray to the FRONTAL portion of the body, and especially to those centers about the diaphragm, and liver. Do that. We will bring near normal conditions for this body. We are through for the present.
