This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 5th day of March, 1930, in accordance with request made by his family, through Mr. Baldwin.

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [5586], here. Now, we find the abnormal conditions have assumed those proportions that are detrimental to the physical forces of the body, and unless there is sufficient segregation through the system, as to prevent the functions and the organs themselves IN their functioning becoming so involved, through the increase in the plethora in the organs, we will find destruction through the activities of those conditions PRODUCING same.
2. The separation or surrogation may be aided, will the body respond through that of drainage in the system to such an extent as to cause the activities through those portions in the body that are affected by same, to segregate the tissue as IS involved IN the digestive and IN the organs in the system in such a manner that the tissue itself may be resuscitated THROUGH the segregation. We would, then, find that THESE - as WE find would bring for the better conditions WITH this body:
3. Giving in the system those of the medicated ash in sufficient quantity as to release as much oxygen in the system as is possible, that the blood supply may take on more activity from the little of assimilation that DOES carry forth IN the system, and thus relieve the pressure.
4. Adding to the system at the time this is being taken, those of the ultra-violet ray, that the superficial elements through the emunctories and the lymphatic circulation may be so increased as to give the more activity in the system, thus relieving the pressure over the body.
5. The quantity as should be taken of the ash, at least a quarter grain TWICE each day.
6. The ultra-violet should not be given CLOSER - in the BEGINNING - than thirty-eight inches from the body, and especially over the side and those portions as give the distress, and in the NEXT we would give in the cerebro-SPINAL system - from at least the sympathetic

center, near the brachial plexus, to that of the upper dorsal. This would give that in the region FROM the upper dorsal to the upper lumbar, those of the mesenteric system, that is to be STIMULATED in producing the drainage.
7. Will the body RESPOND to these, then there may be added the medicinal properties in such a nature as will assist in the proper eliminations.
8. The sedatives, or those properties as will act as the stimuli, will be found in those of Strychnine, Quinine and Wine, or in their combination with those of the Bromide of Soda WITH same, as to release internally those of the congestive forces as affect the liver and the secretions that are active in system from same. Ready for questions.
9. (Q) What should be the dosage of this? (A) Of those of the ash, as given, quarter grain twice each day. The ultra-violet given each day, but to the opposite sides of the body. Of the bromides, or the Strychnine, Quinine and Iron with the Wine, these would be half a teaspoonful at least every four hours, unless the body is at ease. The diets should be, THROUGHOUT, of these would be preferably those that call for the RESUSCITATION of forces as will be in those of Bismuth, of Chalk, of the active forces in same, and in the JUICES rather than those of any heavy diet. These will be ASSIMILATED the more easily, and be more effective, with the loosening OF the system as related to drainages in the physical body.
10. (Q) In what proportion should the Strychnine, Iron, Quinine and Wine be given? (A) These come in regular combinations - Strychnine, Iron, Quinine and Wine.
11. (Q) Any special one suggested to give the ultra-violet ray? (A) Anyone that will give it in the manner as has been OUTLINED! No use in giving it in any other manner than that given! and no use in giving one without giving the other! When these have been carried out, and these become active within the system for at least ten to twelve days, we would give further information concerning these conditions.
