Time of Reading ... Place, 11:30 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Ohio.

1. MD: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [5594], present in this room. You will give any advice or counsel that would be helpful to this body in a mental or spiritual manner, and answer the questions she is asking concerning herself and the mental and material affairs of her husband.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [5594], present in this room. In giving counsel or advice, or even giving those of the mental forces as may manifest through the body, well that same are approached in some direct manner as may be designated by the desires of the body-mind, body-consciousness, as to whether those awakenings as have come to the body as to the purpose for which an entity, a body, a soul, passes through the earth's experience; for it depends upon WHAT approach a body makes TO Life as to what will be put IN same, or that that may be expected as to be obtained FROM or THROUGH the experience OF an entity in this mundane sphere.

3. In the PHYSICAL forces of the body, these we find are very good in MOST respects. There are little or no hindrances IN the physical functioning of the organs of the body itself, physically OR mentally. These ARE conditions that the body may be warned concerning in the physical functioning, that kept in the accord - or in attunement with those of the better developing forces of the body itself - may BRING better conditions, or PREVENT those of disorders or disturbing conditions later on. These, as we find, would have to do with that as tends to be an improper elimination, as would be related to those of the soft tissue to the throat, the bronchi, or to the face itself. These are from repressions as exist in the upper dorsal area. With the regular exercise as may be had by any SPECIFIC movement, or activity, that is made FOR the correction OF such conditions, as of the riding [writing?], as of the morning or the evening exercise for the movements of those portions of the system, will make for a better condition later on.

4. As to the mental forces, mental developments of the body, as related to spiritual things - these, as we find, may be awakened by that expression the body may give to those portions of the psychic forces in an entity's development, as relates to the material things of life, and that each individual, each entity, may have their OWN experience SHOULD be the desire of every entity; for, to all, those things - that which is held as the ideal of a body, whether pertaining to the material things of life, the mental experiences of life, or of the spiritual forces, MUST make THEIR manifestations in such a way and manner as to answer for that faith, that hope, that an individual has in that in which it HAS put ITS faith, its hope, its trust. This, as we find, is the nature, or natural order of things throughout a human experience. Ready for questions.

5. (Q) To what can I turn this restless discontent that I may accomplish something worth while? (A) There is innate in the experience of the individual that that makes FOR this restlessness, by seeing little or no HOPEFUL response to that, whether the material (and it is material) or the mental and spiritual, in which the entity HAS given as its ideal. In turning to any phase of human experience, whether partaking of the mystic forces or of the arts (which, to many, are but mystic forces), these must find an expression of that experience that will BRING SOMETHING as definite accomplishment in the efforts of the body. These may be turned to the art, as of those that pertain to the fine arts, or they may be turned to those channels as pertain to the writing, or ESPECIALLY that phase of same as would bring action in the writing, or in that phase of same. This will make for the entity that as may be termed a semi-career, as well as the home career; for the body, the mind, is so patterned, so developed, so attuned, that all the activities of the body, mentally AND physically, MUST see some results, and not wholly blind faith, nor is the entity satisfied with drifting. Then, in either of these channels may the entity find an expression of itself, in making - as it were - conditions, circumstances, of a mental or imaginary nature, in which the activities of individuals are brought out, as would make for that as is to the entity the IDEAL situations; but these must be made in such a way and manner as they become those of the nature that are in accordance with DEVELOPMENT in some specific direction; or, are they applied to the arts, then they must - that is, applied arts - be in that field or direction where there is the supplying of some DEFINITE NEED in the life of individual, or individuals, to be satisfying

and worth while.

6. (Q) How should I proceed to write, and on what subjects? (A) As is indicated, that in which activities are given to those individuals chosen to fill those various niches in human experience, that the entity, the body, would have work out in their lives, that which to the entity IS ideal, from its VARIOUS situations as may be had; and these, as we would find, would be best turned IN that direction that would make for scenario making.

7. (Q) How can I earn some money so that I won't be so utterly dependent? (A) That'll earn money! We would place these in two fields, for through these same channels may there approaches be made. We can make these for the Warner, or for the Universal, and have 'em produced, too!

8. (Q) Should I encourage my husband to leave his present position? (A) Not in the present situations, as we find, though we will FIND that - as there are some developments in a combination, or a combine as will be executed in the next two years (unless alterations, or circumstances prevent, that are not apparent) - THEN an association or connection could be made that would be more satisfactory. [See 5594-2, Par. 11-A.]

9. (Q) What steps should he take to get the title of Vice-president, and to get into the "Managers Investment," or shall he leave his progress entirely in the hands of the president? (A) In this situation, as we would find, these would be well to be left as they are, in the present - but we would interest (this is the husband, we are speaking of) self in that phase of expansion that is to combine many of the various PHASES of that in which the entity, or body, is associated in the present, and that which will have to do with the EXPANSION OF that type, or class, of business in a little different field, or the television end of the developments, that will - with the settling of those of the rights of some - bring a NEW departure in this field, especially the HOME department, and the INTERNATIONAL department of such - see? [Rdg. given on August 19, 1931]

10. (Q) Is there any way to realize anything from his old patents? Which ones and how? (A) These may, as we find, be revived - but these, as we find, ALSO would be necessary for changing, for SOME have run their usefulness by the applications and the GRANTING of those in other directions that are covered partially in that as is held; but those in that field as we have outlined, interest self in that field, and with those abilities - these can go far, and be made to be much worth while! DO

REMEMBER, with these expansions, that the national and international telegraph lines MUST be considered!

11. (Q) What are my greatest mistakes as a wife and what can I do to help my husband most? (A) Not well to point out the mistakes to but very few. The greater mistakes, as may be covered by that of a very broad statement: We ALL - not the body any more than others - are SELFISH! In AIDING another, in this body aiding the husband, be in that position as of always ready and willing to give and take; remembering that a man is an animal that likes petting as well as does the wife; one that necessarily must have an interest shown in that they attempt as well as to have interest shown by THEM in that that self would attempt! Keeping much on that basis as was declared by self in the first three weeks of wedded life. Very few have come to as perfect an understanding as these. Well to keep it on that as it was in the third week.

12. (Q) Could he be happier, even yet, with someone else? (A) That would depend much on self! If self could be happier with someone else, so could the husband be!

13. That is all the questions.

14. In studying self, as the body should - [5594] - there should be, in the ideals and ideal situations as may be created by the mental abilities, the mental vision of the body, that which will bring the nearer understanding of self's relationships to individuals; for to make the IDEAL situations one must - as it were - EXPERIENCE same at least mentally. Then KNOW that the ideals as are set are those that make for a CONTINUITY OF life, and they will have that spiritual aspect that is necessary for the best to be given, or the most to be obtained by their being manifested in the lives, or TO the lives, of others. A lot in that! We are through. Copy to Self " " File " " Ass'n
