Time of Reading 11:20 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body. Now, we find there are those conditions as cause disturbances in the physical functioning of the body in such a manner as to bring abnormal responses or reflexes to the physical functioning of the body.

2. These conditions have to do with the effect as is created in the nerve reflexes and the response of same to the brain. This condition, or that which produces same, has been of long standing, though the whole effect as now created has NOT been of such a long duration. The conditions have to do first, or primarily, with the manner in which the body was handled at the time of birth, and the pressure as was created in the lower lumbar regions - in the presentation - was the cause of much of the disturbance as has since arisen. While these pressures, with the manner in which the system's reflexes have been handled, have brought about OTHER disturbances, these as exist in the lumbar are the greater disturbances - and the seat or cause of conditions.

3. Now, the reaction in the system is that of incoordinating, for the period of duration, of the activity of the nerve reflex between sympathetic and cerebrospinal, and the pressure reflexly is created in the 2nd cervical plexus, as it is also shown in the 4th lumbar plexus.

4. Now, the conditions as result from the effects as produced in system by those conditions having to do with the assimilations for the system, these are through the reflexes as come from the pneumogastric and hypogastric plexus; for they, in their reflex, show how that the effect of foods - or the effect of conditions that have to do with sympathetic reflexes in the system - will bring the stronger reaction, or the more often effect of the loss of consciousness, or loss of self-control.

5. In the application, then, of those conditions as would have to do with that as would aid the body, or to LESSEN the effect of these conditions, we would find it would be necessary to give that in the system to allay and not

overact in ANY capacity to any of the reflexes as related to the circulation - whether of the capillary, or of the internal, arterial, or venous. These, as we find, with bromides as have been given at periods, will only allay and produce to the capillary circulation - or the IMPROPER eliminations IN the system, and give the effect of the bloated condition, and the skin taking on that texture of alimentary canal eliminations, even, being exhumed or thrown out through the respiratory system.

6. To meet the needs, then, as we would find - while this would require a period of time, yet these may be corrected, where these may be ALMOST NIL for the system.

7. We would give as medicinal properties that as may be found in Mayblossom Bitters. This would be given, for THIS condition - that of half a teaspoonful of same three times each day, PREFERABLY before the meal is taken.

8. The diet should be those that have more of the weight, without creating too much of the resistive forces in the actions of eliminations; or rather the vegetable diet - though, if meats are taken, these should preferably be of those that have the cloven hoof, and only those that chew the cud.

9. In the corrections, osteopathically, these would necessarily be made for that existent in the lumbar and cervical regions. These we would find, also, that when the reactions occur - if small quantity of pure table salt (preferably the iodized) is placed on the tongue, the body will relax much more easily, and the condition will be of much less duration. Ready for questions.

10. (Q) Is both brain and alimentary canal affected? (A) The reflexes - The BRAIN, the body of the MIND itself, is good - but the PRESSURES as are created in the 2nd cervical plexus, through the subluxation or the pressure in the lower LUMBAR region or plexus, as given, gives distortion and improper coordination. Hence the non-DEVELOPMENT - though not an abnormal brain, but an abnormal reaction from same. The DIGESTIVE system - is from that where the sympathetic system, between the lumbar plexus and the cervical plexus, in their reflexes through that of the hypogastric and pneumogastric, form in the pit or the base of the stomach itself that which causes CONTRACTION of same, whenever the reflexes are abnormal, and THIS a REFLEX - NOT a cause! The operations of the properties as are given in those of the medicinal nature are to act - as those in the Mayblossom

- that of the Podophyllum, in the form of the cathartic; those in the Ginseng as an active force with the glands of the body - which pressure is produced on - in the lumbar regions, which overexercise the functioning of the glands, especially those of the pineal gland, and these are active principles directly with same; those of the Indian Turnip as the cathartic that will REDUCE the gastric juices in the stomach when taken in the proper proportions with those of the other properties, to form for the system less of the activities of the capillary circulation or the fluids of the system are diminished in such a way and manner that the eliminations are carried along nominally; and when the PRESSURES are REMOVED, then there is only needed patience and the watching of the diet, that would bring a near normal condition of this body, [5596].
