1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [5606]. Now, we find, while the body-physical is very good in many respects, and in most of the tests as might be made for abnormal conditions - either in the blood supply, functioning organs, urine tests, urea in blood, or such - would show negative in most respects, there are DEPRESSIONS as exist from PHYSICAL causes. These are of such a nature as to cause disturbances that bring, THROUGH repressions produced, those effects that bring melancholia, as well as insomnia, as well as shortness of breath, and an alteration at times even in the heart's action. These, as we find, are produced from a lesion as exists in the upper dorsal region; affecting, then, the activity of the system as related to the central nervous system, as goes to head, to heart, to lungs, to the liver. These are functional in their nature, but the repressions are such as prevents their physical activity being normal in the sympathetic sense. Hence that as of repression to the whole system. This being of a circular or circulatory nature, brings - then - a repression also in the circulation as related to capillary ELIMINATIONS. Hence, we will find that the body at times will find a cold sensation when every condition about it should tend to be of full warmth. At another time, there will be the hot flushes when, apparently, there is no reason or cause for same. THIS is as of a REFLEX from that incoordination as exists through the lesion in the upper dorsal region, between the sympathetic and the cerebrospinal system.
2. In bringing, then, a near normalcy - or an ABSOLUTE reaction FROM these conditions - these would NOT be aided by medications, nor by drugs, save only as those necessary to keep the proper eliminations in or through the system; neither would those of the sedatives or of the bromides act other than in the manner of relieving TEMPORARILY those repressions, or by altering the pressure by relaxing portions in the system - but these would return again, and

only make that of the lung area more susceptible to that shortness of breath, that pressure created in the circulation more accentuated; those of the sleeplessness - these would be more IRRITATING in their reaction.
3. Would we REMOVE those LESIONS as EXIST in the upper dorsal, and add to the vibratory rate of the body itself in such a manner as to equalize coordinating forces IN the system, we will find we will bring - in a short period, comparatively - a normal reaction in the body.
4. These we would do by first relaxing the body THOROUGHLY with the wet packs, especially from the cervical base - or 2nd cervical - to the central portion of the cerebrospinal. Then manipulations and adjustments, with the body relaxed. Then sufficient REST at that same period for the whole system to become NORMALIZED to the changes, and DURING that rest period we would apply those vibrations to the body of the wet plain battery that would carry the low electrical vibrations to the body. These we would apply at the 2nd and 3rd dorsal - that's the first plate, the smaller one - and the last, or positive, at the umbilicus center. This we would give at each period, or rest period, which we would have every other day for thirty to thirty-five minutes.
5. Do that, and we will bring a near normal condition to this body, [5606]. Ready for questions.
6. (Q) Should these manipulations be osteopathic? (A) CORRECTIVELY osteopathic; that is, there will needs be adjustments AND manipulations, especially in the upper dorsal and cervical region - see?
7. (Q) These manipulations should be every other day? (A) Every other day, until at least twelve to sixteen have been taken.
8. (Q) Any special diet? (A) The diet has been very good. The diet has been outlined many times for the body, but these have only been of temporary nature. There are many conditions as are of minor nature, but with the CORRECTIONS we will find the body will be a near normal - and a POSITIVE, rather than a negative reacting! The oppressions, the sleeplessness, the tendency of nervous debilitation, will disappear.
9. (Q) Should anything be done about the present temporary depression? (A) Begin with these applications as SOON as is possible, and we will find aid will begin IMMEDIATELY for the body! We are through for the present.
