1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [5609] - this we have had before.
2. (Q) Is H. J. Reilly of 1908 Broadway, N.Y., treating me correctly? (A) In the applications for the corrections in the varied manners of treatments, these - as we find - are being applied in a proper way and manner.
3. (Q) Any suggestions or recommendations? (A) Keep up the treatments!
4. (Q) What can be done now to remedy or eliminate pain in left leg? and how can pressures be overcome to eradicate it? (A) Keep on treating it! In the applications, as has been outlined, pressures having existed in the locomotory areas, and the tightness being of such a nature as to cause the muscular forces along the left limb to contract, has made for a slight difference in the length even of the tread, or of the limb. This being straightened, or exercised, tends to make for a more over-activity than normal, and brings rather that of pain at times. The rest of the applications, as for eliminations and for the correction of the conditions existent in the lower portion of alimentary canal, or colon itself, is as necessary of correction, that the PAIN be alleviated in the limb, as to make corrections in the locomotories from which the limb receives its incentive for distress signals; for one having produced same, or the condition in the locomotory, in the alimentary canal, having produced the condition in limb, becomes a result - not a cause. Hence at times, with the local treatments to bring about a normalcy, this makes for pain, or more excruciating pain in the limb itself. Then, we would keep all of the treatments for the period, and have the rest period, that there may be the adjustments of the nervous system, of the muscular forces, of the nutriments or the mucus membranes in intestines, in the whole general system may adjust themselves. Hence these may become then a normal reaction, or normal activity.

5. (Q) Would more frequent irrigations help, and is it advisable? (A) The proper precautions and the proper numbers were given. We would not change from that. They have not been given sufficient to eliminate those conditions in the colon; transverse, ascending or descending. These should not be given so high, but these should be given in the manner that the whole of the colon will be cleansed.
6. (Q) Should irrigations contain medicants? If so, what kind? (A) As given, these should always contain an antiseptic, or an antiseptic lubricant. Such as in a portion, or the first injection should contain - to each gallon of water, at least ten to twenty grains of saline, or salt, with twenty to thirty grains of soda, and then the latter portion may - the second waters - contain Glyco-Thymoline or Fluoris (?) [Lavoris?], or of that nature. Glyco-Thymoline would be an excellent antiseptic in the second. In the last injection, or the cleansing, were those of the petrolagar that are of the non-acid or of the alkalin stirred in the water, or in the injections as given, they will be found to be most beneficial.
7. (Q) How often should sitz baths be taken, and of what duration each treatment? (A) Sitz baths are merely as a relaxation for the lumbar, or the lower locomotory area, and should be taken whenever adjustments are to be attempted. When the manipulations, or just the massage of the lumbars are to be made, or of the lower limbs, not necessary for the sitz baths - but this relaxes the system so that the adjustments and the muscular movements, where there are alignments that are out of line, will be the easier and more active or applicable to the needs of the body.
8. (Q) Would you advise me to continue taking Lacto-Dextrin for intestinal flora changes? (A) Lacto-Dextrin is an excellent colon or intestinal antiseptic, and produces an activity in the muco-membranes or in the emunctory and lymph circulation through same. We would keep same, though we will find that so much of same will not be necessary if the proper precautions and the proper intestinal antiseptics are given with the irrigations, or the proper precautions or care taken with the diet - as causes for the peristaltic movement. There ARE conditions where Lacto-Dextrin is an active force and a stimul[us] to the movement of the muscular forces in the intestinal system. Then there are conditions, such as exist with this body, where there are the activities deadened by the muscular impingement so as to prevent the proper activity in the circulatory system, that Lacto-Dextrin at
5609-2 Page 3
times will produce a cramping by the forcing of one fold of the intestinal system upon another. Hence the precaution as is given, using the proper precautions in the movements as are made from internal activity, and the proper muscular forces or manipulation and massage given, that the nerve energy - which carries the stimuli of the circulation through the portions of the body from the nerve centers and plexus from each portion of the system - receives its impulse and activity, ARE necessary. Also that, with the laxatives taken, or forces as are given with those of the active forces, either in the digestive system or in the use of the irrigations, will aid more than taking too much internal activity.
9. (Q) Would the Sun-Lamp Quartz or Carbon help eliminations and general condition? If so, state manner of treatment. (A) These may be given occasionally, but should not be a continued portion of the treatment. They assist and stimulate, especially when there are movements made in the muscular forces, where the activities come from impulses in centers along the cerebrospinal system. At such movements, or when adjustments are made - though, as given, the adjustments should not be made at each treatment given, but when adjustments are made - and two to three minutes of the mercury quartz lamp, not carbon - but mercury quartz lamp - would be beneficial. To this body, this should be with the mercury quartz lamp at least thirty-six to thirty-eight inches from the body when applied, and applied over the area where the adjustments ARE made.
10. (Q) Are exercises which Reilly gave, and which are being done, too strenuous for me? (A) Not too strenuous, if the body doesn't get the idea that it is. If he does, why then it will be too strenuous. Just so there is not a stretching of the muscular forces and fibres in extremities father than the relaxing of the centers from which those portions of the limbs or body receive their impulse have been relaxed for their activity. Get that - and what it means!
11. (Q) Shall we now rest for two to three weeks as outlined in previous reading? (A) After the next two to three treatments, we would.
12. (Q) How often should head treatment be administered? (A) Two or three times each week.
13. (Q) Is diet correct, or can you suggest any change to help eliminations? (A) If you will follow that as has been outlined, it WILL be correct!
14. (Q) Do you find any improvement in intestinal tract;
5609-2 Page 4
that is, discharge in rectum? (A) The improvement is evidenced throughout the entire system. There should be more of the cleansing, that there may be less muco-producing in the intestines themselves.
15. That is all the questions on this body.
