1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Ready for questions.
2. (Q) Has recent illness affected my body? (A) Affected it in a manner; not to the material detriment of same, as we find in the present. Will there be carried on much of that as has been outlined, there should be the constant improvement, or the NORMAL developments for the body.
3. (Q) Does discharge from rectum consist of both mucus and fecal matter, or is it fecal matter only? (A) Mucus and fecal matter; mucus coming from those attempts of the system to adjust itself to those disorders as have been from accumulations; so that, while the irrigations have removed much of that as produces or causes same, the inclination of the system to produce that to meet the needs in that portion of the system is as a habit would be, and as a body correcting one is the manner in which these are to be carried out. Hence the changes, or the periods of the system's adjusting same and the periods of rest - see?
4. (Q) Is this discharge of fecal matter or mucus continuing due to inaction of sphincter muscle? (A) Rather that as has been indicated. This affects, naturally, the sphincter muscle, but is as a HABIT, as the system's secretions for the meeting of those conditions where there has been an aggravated condition in the colon itself.
5. (Q) What can I do to control this condition? (A) Follow out those lines as has been indicated for the removal of the causes by CLEANSING the colon and by using those antiseptic solutions in same that will make for a healthy reaction of the muco-membranes of the system, so that these discharges will be from a normal action and not from an excess of the matter in that portion of the system.
6. (Q) Has the prolapsus condition improved? (A) Has improved. As there is more elasticity given to the organ itself, and more of that strength through the nerve

centers and plexus from which the portion of the system receives its impulse of activity, the greater will be the strength OF the organ to perform its normal function.
7. (Q) Is the colon near normal now? (A) As is indicated, it will be necessary for at least one or two more periods of treatments, with the irrigations occasionally - with the antiseptics that will make for a HEALTHY condition in the walls, in the INNER walls of the intestines or colon themselves, for this to be a healthy, normal, colon. The condition is much improved; not perfectly normal, as yet.
8. (Q) At what periods, for the colonic irrigations? (A) These, as has been indicated, should be such that there is kept a CLEANSED colon, without the tendency of sacs or pouches to be formed in the ascending, or transverse, or descending colon - see? These should be taken not to produce irritation, to be sure; that is, not taken so OFTEN as to produce irritation, but to KEEP same in a healthy, in a normal acting, manner. This may be best indicated by the body itself, or by one ministering same - see? If there is a fullness occurs, and it has only been a few days and does not move of itself, then a portion or a whole of an enema would be well, that there is not an accumulation of fecal matter that must produce then more of the mucus that is irritating, and works on the nerve forces of the whole system sympathetically.
9. (Q) How much longer will treatment be required to effect a complete cure? (A) One or two more periods, as we find.
10. (Q) What causes hemorrhoids not present at beginning of treatment to appear now? (A) The tendency of the system to become lax through the reactions in the system itself; that is, those connecting forces between those portions of the colon themselves, running from one portion of the body to another - see? These are as REFLEX conditions, and - as often where irritation, and the system has attempted to adjust itself - conditions APPEAR to be worse, when these are the inflammation and the irritations and the impulses as have been producing LAX condition within the walls of the intestine or colon itself. Hence these form into folds, and are active as - called - hemorrhoids. These, as we find, with the continuation, or correction of conditions, will entirely disappear.
11. (Q) Shall I resume treatments at rate of two each week for three weeks, then rest four weeks? (A) We would.

12. (Q) Have the pressures in blood supply been eliminated? (A) This is being corrected.
13. (Q) Has condition of prostate gland been improved or completely corrected? (A) It has been GREATLY improved. There are only impulses at present. With the completion of the treatments, these pressures should be entirely removed from the system.
14. (Q) Are the sitz baths being given correctly? (A) These are VERY GOOD.
15. (Q) Should they be continued in the same manner? (A) Continued.
16. (Q) Which type sitz bath would be more beneficial? (A) That as has last been administered.
17. (Q) When I resume treatments, shall I continue exercises which Reilly gave me? (A) These would be very well, so they are not too strenuous or do not become so much a pressure on the respiratory organism.
18. (Q) Have the forces any further suggestions for H. J. Reilly in continuing treatment for me? (A) Follow closely those outlines as has been given, as respecting that that will bring about the nearer normal conditions for the body, and these will be effective. Do not add too much, nor take much from. Do that. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " File " " Ass'n
