1. EC: We have the body, [5611]. Now, we find that while the existent physical conditions for this body have apparently assumed alarming conditions, the cause or the seat of the trouble does not warrant an operation at the present time, as has been and is being seriously considered.
2. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, [5611] we are speaking of. First:
3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, here we find conditions as show the nature and character of disturbance as is manifested with the system. First there is seen that such a temperature is at times manifested as to use up that energy as is necessary, and as is manifested in the white blood supply, and that necessary to produce nominal or normal coagulation throughout the system when there is used energy or forces being exercised in the functioning body. This is especially manifested through the mesenteric system and in the pelvic organs themselves.
4. In the constituents of the blood, this also is shown - that poor assimilation is manifested in the body, as is seen in how that the vegetative nerve system is overtaxed, through the activity of that as produces the inflammation - and hence the temperature.
5. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, here we find the seat or the causes as first produced this condition in this body. An overtaxed nerve system, with the body going under a mental, a physical experience, that was physically and mentally nerve-wracking, nerve-exhausting to the body - this coming at a period when the system attempting to eliminate through its normal channels, and then being suddenly cast into that position of congestion through the false pelvis organs and through the organs of genitation, brought inflammation in the mesenteric system, and hence the inflammation - with misdirected nerve energies from the radial plexus of the cerebrospinal system, namely in the 12th dorsal, 3rd and 4th lumbar plexus - with the sympathetic system already at nerve tautness, brought this collapse - and the accentuation of the
5611-1 Page 2
conditions has been the result.
6. In the changes that have come about, in that first one portion of the system - as the nausea, as the trouble with the throat, as the trouble with the depression as has come to the brain centers themselves, in the inability to bring proper coordination in the nerve system, are the RESULTS of the drain ON nerve system, as is seen through both mesenteric and sympathetic nerve bodies - and also the improper relations between cerebrospinal and the organs of the lower digestive and pelvic organs.
7. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF ORGANS THEMSELVES, these, as seen, only sympathetically are involved. Naturally, there may be seen that with the system attempting to create sufficient of that as will bring to the body the reserve energy, the spleen, the liver, the kidneys - and especially the lacteal ducts, glands of the system, the adrenal glands, all suffer their portion of the disturbance. These are rather SYMPATHETIC conditions than of an organic or even functional nature - though, in the same reaction their functions are hindered.
8. Now, for the operation - the very activities as will be overcome by that of the application of that that deadens the whole nerve system would be helpful in a very minor degree but - for the nominal and the normal reactions these had BEST be brought through normal channels, rather than through such that will only produce the centralization or localization of these distressing conditions in organs or in systems of the body in their functioning, that would bring more detrimental conditions to the body later on. And, in the first, we would find hard for coagulation to ever take place under existent conditions in nerve and blood supply of the body of [5611].
9. Then, to meet the needs at the present time - the body should have absolute quiet and rest, and we would give only those properties in the system in the manner of drinking water that would carry those vibrations that will aid the whole of the alimentary canal, as well as the stomach itself in creating sufficient of the mucus-producing properties as will coordinate and vibrate with the body itself. These we would find in using small quantities of the elm water, or elm bark in water - alternated with those of saffron or camomile - either of these, or all of these in small quantities should be taken. No water taken should be other than little colder than tepid, and not too much taken at any one time.
10. Reduce the temperature by the bathing of the body - especially over the cerebrospinal system - with rub
5611-1 Page 3
alcohol, and massaging into the whole of the cerebrospinal centers equal parts of Tincture of Myrrh and Olive Oil - heating the oil and adding the myrrh.
11. Well, too, that this be massaged into those portions of the system where the lymphatics may easily absorb these for the lymphatic and the capillary circulation, such as is seen in lower portions of the abdomen and groin, under the arm, arm pits and elbow, under the knees. These will also aid in the circulation as is necessary to be kept up, stimulating even the heart's action. In this respect, also, these have caused distress - but these are sympathetic conditions, NOT those of organic nature.
12. We would also apply the gentle massage over the whole system at least once each day, and correct those conditions existent in the lower dorsal and the lumbar and sacral region every third day; also ONLY every OTHER day those rays as would come from the sinusoidal ray, as would be applied to the glands about the digestive system, and those that apply (along the cerebrospinal centers) to the organs of the pelvis, RELIEVING these conditions.
13. Use occasionally the antiseptics to cleanse those portions of the body from which secretions will emanate, with these applications - that there may NOT be infection, either of reinfection nature or locally.
14. Also apply, every fifth day, the ultra violet ray - though this should NOT be other than at the 5th and 6th dorsal plexus, and only for 3 to 5 minutes at the longest, and at least 48" (forty-eight inches) from the body.
15. The sinusoidal rays should not be longer in the beginning than one minute, gradually increasing - as the conditions are aided.
16. The diet should consist of those properties that build for nerve and blood supply of the body, but easy of digestion. Little or no meats, though the juices of beef may be taken as medicinal properties.
17. KEEP the alimentary canal cleansed, even though cool or tepid enemas may be necessary to prevent the reaction of such forces in the system.
18. REST - and we will find the body will be brought to the NORMAL conditions. Do that. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file " " Cayce Hospital " " Mr. [202] Phoned to Mr. [900] [[137]'s brother]
