1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, we find there are DISTURBING conditions with the physical forces of the body. These conditions, when they become acute, are the culmination of disorders in the eliminating system, as related to the vegetative nerve system and the reflex as created by the disturbance in the lymph, as is shown by the character and nature of abrasions on the body - face, and portions of system - the swelling as occurs, that lies - as it were - BETWEEN the layers of the skin itself. This may be termed MANY characters of disorders. These being, PRINCIPALLY, that of catarrhal conditions in the stomach and intestines, or stomach and duodenum. The RESULT of the disturbance working WITH the vegetative system, or those as related to the mesenteric, and naturally they affect in DIFFERENT manners the blood supply, the liver, the kidneys, the functioning of the spleen and pancreas, disturbing the digestion at times; but the greater DISTRESS is caused by ACUTE condition becoming poisoned by any element that tends to create an overbalance of the salts, or the system in the alkalin manner, that causes the eliminations to be thrown THROUGH the capillary, rather than thrown off through alimentary canal and through the respiratory system.

2. Now, to meet the needs of these conditions - we would get to the BASIC conditions in system, and we would prepare as THIS for the system - preparing same from the original herbs, that the reaction in system may be to tone that force in the gastric juices of the stomach itself, and the effect as to be had upon the nerve system in such a manner as to reach the basis of conditions.

3. To 1 gallon of distilled or rain water, we would add:

Wild Cherry Bark...............2 ounces, Sarsaparilla Root..............1 ounce, Sassafras Root Bark............1 ounce, Black Snake Root...............1 ounce,

Ginseng (wild)...............1/2 ounce, Indian Turnip................1/4 ounce, Buchu Leaves..................20 grains, Mandrake Root.................10 grains.

Reduce this by slow boiling to 1/2 the quantity. Strain while warm and add, while hot, 2 ounces of grain alcohol with 2 drams Balsam of Tolu cut in same. Shake solution together before the dose is taken. Take half a teaspoonful before each meal.

4. Beware of shell fish, and of any condiments with meats. Meats should not consist of any save those of fowl, wild game, mutton or beef - and this provided NONE of it is fried. More of the vegetables that grow above ground - any that is of a pod nature very good.

5. We would ALSO apply those of the green light ray, for IRRITATION comes from some characters of electrical forces, and the green will aid in allaying this condition.

6. We would ALSO be sure that the body drinks plenty of water.

7. For the abrasions, there may be used occasionally that of a solution carrying much alcohol and acetanilide - these the principal basic ingredients, or other properties of the same character with an astringent added, or that known as any tetter remedy, or a tetter remedy.

8. Do that. We will bring better conditions to this body. We are through for the present.
