Time of Reading ... Place, 11:55 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: We have the body here, Mrs. [5622]. In the physical forces of the body we find there are many conditions that DISTURB the body. The causes, however, as we find, have NOT been reached, as the conditions are of a subtle nature, and often the effects as are created BY the disturbance apparently are much worse than the cause. Then, in applying curative forces, these have only been of a temporary or a partly aiding to the body.
2. These, then, be conditions as we find them with this body, Mrs. [5622] we are speaking of, present in this room. First:
3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find below normal in these respects; especially that disturbance in hemoglobin, of the nature where the coagulations are increased. Those of red blood cells below normal, of the white at TIMES changeable. In the effects as this has created, we find with the nervous forces in body being disturbed, as we shall see, has impoverished many portions of the body, until there is at times distraughtness in the extremities and the muscular and nerve forces of same suffer under this strain. Especially do we find these conditions when there are sudden changes in climatic conditions, or atmospheric pressure.
4. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, here again we find causes and considerable disturbance, both in cerebrospinal and sympathetic system. These are produced more by this disorder disturbing circulation, and disorders from the character of ELIMINATIONS as have been necessarily set up in body.
5. IN THE FUNCTIONINGS OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, in brain forces very good. In the organs of the sensory system disorders are results from pressure in the cervicals, produced by the distortion of circulation, due to the catarrhal condition as exists in soft tissue, as well as in stomach and intestines. These conditions being of such nature that the distresses produced IN the functioning, or
5622-1 Page 2
the overtaxing through the functioning organs FROM disorder, brings greater distresses to the organs so disordered. As is seen in the manner of the heart's action, as well as of blood supply.
6. In the activities of the digestive system, this we find often needs that addition to system to produce proper activity through digestive system. This from the pressure in the cerebrospinal, from which most of the functioning DESIRE, as it may be called, of the intestinal system, receiving too little of incentive through the bloodstream in their respective centers. Hence these bring for those disorders in duodenum, pancreas, spleen, and liver.
7. In the hepatic circulation, this high acidity at times is produced from those distraughtnesses as have been created in the body, as has been given.
8. In meeting, then, the needs of the conditions - those pressures as have existed in the lumbar and sacral region must need its first attention; so that the drainages of a well organized body may be set up in such a manner as to keep as near an equilibrium in the cerebrospinal system as possible.
9. Well, too, that in meeting the needs, the character of the poison accumulations from the non-activities as outlined, should be given due consideration.
10. In the application of medicinal properties, in the form - as we would find - in this:
11. To 4 ounces of distilled water, we would add that of the Tincture of Stillingia: Indian Turnip (pulverized, see?).....1/2 dram, Wild Ginseng.........................1/2 dram, and dissolve Balsam of Tolu.........................3 drams, in Alcohol................................2 ounces, and add to same.
12. The dose would be teaspoonful 3 times each day.
13. In the manipulations, the corrections would be for those conditions existent in the cervical, the center and upper dorsal, especially - and the lumbar and sacral regions.
14. Well, too, that about ONCE each week - until the conditions are relieved, and the pressure taken away - the eliminations through alimentary canal be had, see? until these are well set up.
15. In the CORRECTIVE measures in the manipulation, be mindful that the stimuli in cardiac center, the solar plexus center, SECONDARY cardiac center, are such that the gastric juices of the stomach themselves do not become over-acid; and well that those of the alkaline foods be taken, that are
5622-1 Page 3
also nerve building, see? Little of the flesh of any, yet those of the juices may be taken.
16. Ready for questions.
17. (Q) The eliminations once a week - is that colonic irrigation? (A) Colonic irrigations.
18. (Q) How much rest - special rest? (A) Especially during the first week to ten days, to TWO weeks - while the eliminations through alimentary canal, especially, are being set up - would be well that the body REST MOST of the time. Not in bed, to be sure, but not so much exercise as to bring too much STRAIN on the nervous system, for without strain the conditions may be aided without the use of sedatives, but to be overstrained will make restlessness and insomnia be the outcome of irritation, see?
19. (Q) How about flesh? Does the body need to gain weight? (A) It will gain, when the conditions are so that assimilations are proper. It will gain to its proper, normal weight - should gain. This, as we have seen, is that the EFFECTS - as has been created - are worse than the CAUSES. Now, if we will get AT the CAUSES, the effects as have been created will disappear, see?
