1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [5629] here. Now, we find there are abnormal conditions in the physical forces of this body. These have to do with practically the whole of the functioning system as regarding replenishing of energy. Would there be the proper corrections made as to disturbances, they have to do principally with the supply of energy as created for the replenishing of the nerve system, and the varied effects as are created in the body. Then, as may be surmised from such a condition, most of the nerve system and systems are involved, as well as the assimilating and eliminating system, as related to the blood supply and of the functioning organs, as has to do with this portion of the physical body. The body suffers principally from nerve exhaustion, brought on by properties as given to the system to supply, or strengthen, or to stimulate the body as respecting this portion of the functioning system, and the system being strong-willed in self, as well a sympathetically, REBELS against such conditions, and the whole system cries out, as it were, against such conditions. Hence medicinal properties become as a bugaboo to the system, or to the body, and the whole nerve forces REBEL against taking any nostrums of ANY nature. In the effects as are created in the system: The tiredness, the headaches, the fullness in feet, the inactivity of the digestive system, the slowing up of the pulsations, the overtaxing or excitement of the heart's action, the quickness of the pulse, the tired depleted feeling as is felt, little rest at times, and at others drowsy; yet not resting from the REST as attempting to take; nervous fidgety, and nothing suits. These and kindred conditions are the effects of this nerve exhaustion and improper assimilation to create energy sufficient to supply the body.

2. To meet the needs of these conditions at the present time for this body, [5629] we are speaking of, first we would

repair or retire to some quiet, restful place, where the body may rest from any surroundings that would worry or bring other than the brightest of outlooks; and the body should REST - lie still - as much as possible, in sunshine, or in shady quarters, and apply, during the waking day, that of the Radium Double X Pad. This applied across the 9th, 10th and 11th dorsal. In the hours when rest or sleep is to be had, apply those of the Radio-Active Appliance - nominal one. The Radium Appliance should be for at least six hours each day, and should be recharged at least three to five minutes every day in strong sunlight. The Radio-Active Appliance, as would be attached to left ankle and right wrist, and right ankle and left wrist - alternating - should be at least an HOUR each evening - afternoon or evening, and the diet should consist principally of those of the non-acid producing in the system. The green vegetable, yolk of egg, and calf liver. These should be the PRINCIPAL diet, alternating at times with those of the cereals that do not produce fermentation - while the rest is being taken, and the rest such as this should be for at least two to three weeks, and we will find the body will feel, and be, much - much - improved.

3. After the first ten days of such rest, and application of the Radio-Active Appliance and the Radium Appliance, we would have the gentle massage - after the hot baths. Not so hot as to REDUCE the temperature in the body by the sudden change, but the hot baths and the gentle massage to stimulate the whole capillary circulation; preferably such as would be found in those applied by the neuropath - and we will find the body being brought nearer to the normal conditions in four to six weeks. Ready for questions.

4. (Q) What brought my condition on? (A) As given.

5. (Q) Why am I so blue and depressed? (A) Nerve exhaustion.

6. (Q) Why have I such fear of noises? (A) The improper coordination between the cerebrospinal and sympathetic system, against these conditions existent in the nerves themselves. Improper reaction of vibratory forces. Hence those conditions as are given for the changes to be exercised by both the action of the Radio-Active Appliance (which is to produce proper coordination in the body) and the active force in that of the Radium Appliance (which acts with the blood and the nerve system, in its exchange of forces as are created by the body for the vibrations through nerve and blood supply, and their relationship one to another.

7. (Q) What can I do to occupy my time and mind? (A) Rest first, and then as the body rests there may be builded much for the body in its reaction; for first there must be that physical capacity for the mind AND the body to act, else these do not bring proper coordinations in the system.

8. (Q) Why can I stand so few medicines? (A) As has been outlined for the body, most of these have brought destructive forces as created in the system, through the nerve energies of the body.

9. (Q) Why have I so little endurance when I am anxious to be active and do things? (A) Nerve exhaustion.

10. That is all the questions.

11. Do this as has been outlined for the body, and we will find we will bring the conditions as will bring about much nearer the normal forces for this body. We are through for the present. Copy to Cayce Hospital " " [900] " " Thos. B. Brown
