Township 54,55, 56, Time of Reading South Range 33, East, 11:00 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. Monroe County, ..., Florida.

1. GC: You will have before you the 32,000 acres of land, owned by Mr. [2671], in Monroe County, Florida, Township 54, 55, 56, South, Range 33 East, and you will give the prospects for oil on this land. You will give the log of the well as has been located on these lands. You will also give the proximity of this field to the wells as have already been located in Florida. You will answer any questions that will be asked.

2. EC: Yes, we have those lands here in this portion of the state. As has been seen in others, there may be found oil in greater or lesser quantities, depending upon the locations and the manner in which same is handled when production is reached, for in these lands, as where much oil is found in silt and sedimentary formations, the proximity of the salt water to same may destroy the value of the fields and the production. In the various portions of this territory, we find this will cover a portion of the greater pool, that may be found in the western portion of Dade and Lee counties, and in Monroe County in the eastern extremity. The greater pool as seen is in that of Township 54, Section 22, Range 35 East. This the greater head, or the crest of the pool.

3. In this in Monroe County, we find the greater pools extend, then, across the lower portion of 54 and 55, in Range 33. In the location as has been made there will be found these conditions as a GENERAL outline - not SPECIFICS in every manner, for this may be changed by the manner of handling.

4. Surface and the silts from top 16 to 35 feet, with lime and silt for 300 to 325, in the heavier lime, with some gravel and shale to the 456, then the sands and water, with some show of the shale oil, with the heavier lime and the silt to the 675, sands and shale, and production showing

above, and with the salt water in the 779. This will necessitate, then, the using of those packs and strainers to prevent the water and oil, or both may become together and separated in tanks. This would cost near ten to twelve thousand dollars for the 3000 to 3500 barrel production.

5. In the eastern portion of same section there will be found greater productions. Not equaling, however, those as are in the Dade and Lee County locations. Ready for questions.

6. (Q) In what section should the well be located? (A) It's located! Why another, if they get production?

7. (Q) Are there any tools at present located on this land? (A) Not in operation, but tools on land.

8. (Q) What Township on the land are the tools on? (A) 55. Section 21, block 21.

9. (Q) Are the tools set up, or just on the ground? (A) On ground. Not on ground - on moving vans and on the ground.

10. That is all the questions.

11. There may be much given as regarding how this would be handled in the various portions in obtaining the production, for while we find there are many different grades of oil as will be produced, there are many different depths at which many different grades of oil will be produced. There will be larger quantities found in various portions, and that of the largest production as has been produced in any portions of the country; for, as we find, while Asphaltum base of this oil produces a low grade, the many usages to which the various oils may be used will be found good, for in the upper portions there will be found that quality of the oils that may be termed as that as is near as good as the Icthyol oils. These are VERY valuable in MANY respects. Not great in quantity, yet greater in value than many, many, BARRELS in the lesser quality, and in the second there will be found that high in the cacine [caisson?] gas productions, and a Naptha base, while in the lower the greater pools, will be large production, soon exhausting self through the salt water intrusion. Hence the necessity in the operations of these that the great pools are not flooded by improper handled drilling.

12. We are through.
