1. GC: You will have before you the 32,000 acres of land, owned by Mr. [2671] in Monroe County, Florida, Township 54, 55 and 56, South, Range 33 East, and you will give the best location for oil on this land, telling us the depth, quantity, and the log of the well as located. You will answer any questions I might ask you regarding this.

2. EC: Yes, we have the lands here. These we have had before.

3. As has been given, there may be oil found in these lands, especially in that portion of same from the lower half of Township 54, Range 33, to the central and upper portion of Township 55, Range 33; the eastern portion of these townships being that in which the greater quantities of oil will be produced.

4. In making locations for such oil, and with the acreage in such position, there are many conditions to be considered. Well, then, that the acreage as may be used for production be considered first, and the outline or the extent of the pools be given, as well as the specific location in which first production may be found.

5. As has been given, this portion of the field lies on the anticline, that is formed by the bend in Dade, Lee and Monroe counties, and this in these portions, as given, lies on the West and South portion of such anticline. The greater pools, then, will be found, as given, from those of the central of Township 54 and to the central or upper portions of 55. While much may be found in outskirts in other portions, the greater quantity would be produced in this area.

6. For the specific location, then, we would give as this:

7. On a line from that in Township 54, Block 21, Township 55, Block 21, would be a western boundary, see? with pool extending in various directions, according to the lay of the folds in which the pools are located, being from the northwest, southeast, direction.

8. Then, the specific location would be in the southeast quarter of the southeast quarter of Block 21, Township 54, Range 33 East. This makes specific within 10 acres, see?

9. The depths as would be found here will be much as that as has been given. Silt, slime, and upper layer would be 50 to 60 feet. Lime and lime shell, with some shale shell, for 40 to 50 feet. Necessary that surface water be cased off here. Should be started with at least 10 inch casing. Then we would find heavier lime, with some show of oil around 97 feet, and in SOME portions this may be made remunerative, by using of same for oil and for production. In this specific location, the greater quantities as would be produced, in the 1679 to 1680 strata would be found the greater production, and the better paying proposition.

10. Such operations in such district, under such conditions as exist, would cost approximately $9,800 to $10,000, $11,000.

11. These are the conditions as we find on these lands, the 32,000 acres as owned by Mr. [2671], in Monroe County, Florida, in Township 54, 55, 56, South, Range 33 East.

12. We are through.
