Time of Reading 11:40 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Alabama. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, as we find, there are disturbing conditions in the physical functioning of the body. These in part have been of long standing, and there is the possibility and the probability of the RESULTS of conditions, or effects, being called or diagnosed as the condition; and the removal of an effect without the remedying of the cause will only give temporary and not permanent relief.

2. These conditions have caused the effects of disturbances in the eliminations to produce some complications. These have affected the eliminations as related to the genitive organs, and the resultant effects on the nervous system, and conditions as related to the hepatic circulation.

3. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, [5646] we are speaking of:

4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this in some respects is very good, though there are the indications of there being those excesses in system that result from plethora condition being produced in some portions of the body; as the pulsation and the effect had upon the heart's action itself, though no organic condition of the organ is present, save functionally.

5. IN THE NERVOUS SYSTEM, the pressures that have existed in the lumbar and pelvic regions have made for irritations that have been, and are at times, aggravating in the body, causing disturbances in the character of eliminations through the alimentary canal, disturbing the functioning of the kidneys through the hepatic circulation, sympathetically disturbing the functioning of the liver and its functioning for assimilation and distributions in the body.

6. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS, under the disturbance we find there have long existed pressures in the lower dorsal and lumbar region, that the character of same has caused improper incentive to the organs of the pelvis

system. Hence a gradual turning of the organs themselves, until tendency through the irritation of adhesions caused the greater disturbance, and producing a tendency in the functioning of more acidity, more acid throughout the entire system, and these working together produce effects in the whole of the body itself. These pressures, as we find, exist specifically in the 9th, 10th, 11th dorsal, and 3rd and 4th lumbar. SYMPATHETICALLY their reflexes are seen in the upper dorsal, and even the cervical area. Hence we have had at periods disturbances that have affected at times the organs of the sensory system - as the eyes, as the secretions for throat, as the drumming or the condition that appears with the ear, the general irritations, headaches and heaviness, hot and cold flushes, that come from such disturbances, have been the conditions existent in body. Upsetting of the stomach, with nausea at times, loss of appetite - again an over, or a desire for food more often. Nerve reactions along whole of system.

7. In the functioning of the organs themselves, as we have seen, there are many disturbances in the organs - but more of the sympathetic nature. Standing on the feet, or mounting stairs, or the like, has at times made for a tendency of exaggerations of the conditions through the system. These, as we find, may be removed without the necessity of operative measures, if they are taken in time - and in the order that their pressures, AND the removal of conditions BY absorption, may coordinate or work together. While requiring a little longer, the after effects or the results that may be obtained will be much more satisfactory than simply removing those pressures, or those conditions that PRODUCE pressure in the plethora, or the condition as forms of growth - which are not growths in themselves, as they are of a filling of those conditions ABOUT the organs.

8. In meeting, then, the needs of the conditions, we would find THESE as most applicable for the removing of these disorders - through absorption, yet having the effects in the system of RELIEVING the pressures to the extent that these would be not only eliminated themselves but the causes also eliminated:

9. We would first, then, have the deep osteopathic manipulations in the lumbar, lower dorsal, and the cervical area. We would relax the body well with wet packs before such deep manipulations were made. As we would find, the better would be two to three treatments each week, but only one of these would be two to three treatments each week, but only one of these would be two to three treatments each week, but only one of these a week an adjustment - the other

5646-1 Page 3

rather the general treatments.

10. After one week treatment has been taken, we would take this internally:

11. To 4 ounces of simple syrup, add: Tincture of Valerian..................1/2 ounce, Elixir of Calisaya......................1 ounce, 10% Solution Iodide of Potassium.......15 minims, 10% Solution Bromide of Potassium......30 minims, Tincture of Capsici.....................2 minims. Shake together before the dose is taken, which would be half teaspoonful three or four times each day - before breakfast, before lunch, before dinner, before retiring.

12. When there are the pains through the small of back and through the right side, where the distresses come the more often, rest from standing on feet and apply a saturated solution of Epsom salts - hot - heating or keeping warm when heavy heated packs are put on, with heated salt - heavy salt. These will aid, and when these are taken will relieve the distress.

13. In taking the manipulations, we find it would be better to take them for two to three weeks, then to rest a week to two weeks and take another course - this would be the more effective.

14. Do that. Ready for questions.

15. Such an one as Woodall, or Doughty (?), or ones of that school, should apply those suggestions or applications.

16. At some periods we will find that small quantities of Atomidine will be well to be taken, three to five drops each day - though should this make for dizziness reduce the dose. This would preferably be taken in the evening. This will add to the lessening of the potash reactions that are seen in the system, making for a better activity of all GLANDS - ductless glands, thyroid glands, and the functioning of the assimilating and eliminating. This will reduce these conditions.

17. (Q) When should the Atomidine be begun? (A) After the first weeks treatment.

18. (Q) What was the original cause of my trouble? (A) A pressure, or cold and congestion that followed, and pressure in the lower dorsal area.

19. (Q) Any advice regarding diet? (A) This had best be, for the present especially, followed by one - or given by one - who gives those manipulations, so they will coordinate together for the eliminating of those refuse forces that are to be absorbed by system and

5646-1 Page 4

eliminated through their regular channels. As we will find, these will be those of the non-acid, and rather a tendency towards those of an excess elimination.

20. We are through for the present.
