1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [5649]. Now, we find there are disorders and disturbances in the physical functionings of the body. Organically, the disturbances are minor. Functionally, we find the disturbances are of a nature that corrective measures may be had, that the conditions may be bettered. These, as we find, in part are of such specific nature as that the EFFECTS as are brought about seldom indicate the actual cause of the disturbances.
2. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, [5649] we are speaking of, present in this room:
3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find, in the circulation - or the pulsation, as to be little below the normal. In pressure, this - as we find - alters, dependent upon the activity either physical or mental, and as to the diets of the body. In elements or constituents, we find the red blood BELOW normal; of a minor nature, to be sure, but this tendency makes for that of the effect in the nervous system, especially so - in this particular case - as related to the sensory nervous system, so that - with an overtaxed mental or physical body - in speech, in vision, in hearing - all become accentuated at various times, or JUMBLED - as it were - in coordinating.
4. IN THE NERVOUS SYSTEM, we find these condition shows both as a cause and as an effect in the system. There has existed for some time a lesion in the lumbar region, as produced from disorders in pelvic organs, as to make for a pressure that disturbs the central nervous system; so that there has been a period of ALMOST a nervous collapse, through the effect as created in the nervous system as related to the cerebrospinal reaction, especially through hypogastric and pneumogastric regions. Hence the severe head attacks, or pains in the head, and rather than coming FROM the stomach, the stomach disorder FOLLOWS from same; so that absorption, or the creating of those juices or gastric forces in stomach apparently make for an inactivity in same;

so that it becomes necessary to settle same, through the supplying of properties within as to produce absorption or digestion for the body not to have following same disorders through the intestinal system, or functional disorders with spleen, liver, and such organs. Hence we find these disorders are a reflex nature, coming mostly from that plexus where disorder is seen in the 5th and 4th dorsal plexus, or with pressure in the lumbar plexus - from the cycle of activity - such a disorder to the head, to the gastrics, and to the hypogastric and pneumogastric, and to the base of brain and to the head itself there becomes an inactivity reflexly through those centers as govern the digestive system. These naturally, in their reflexes, cause a same character of disorder as has been given through the SENSORY system, produced by the close proximity of those centers from the central nerve system, and sympathetic plexus in the region of the upper dorsal and their cervical annexes to face, head, neck, and throat. These, as we find, are the disorders as come. Now, the effects of same are as those that may be seen both in the effect created in capillary circulation and to the lymphatic circulation. Naturally, those conditions bring about those after effects through the mesenteric system; that is, the intestinal tract itself. These make for, through the hepatics, a FULL circulation; tendencies for chilliness and clamminess in body, especially at times - early of mornings when it awakes from sleep, or when there is an over activity from without.
5. In meeting, then, the needs of the conditions - these, as being functional and only secondary as organic - there will be seen, that with the proper or sufficient amount of rest, with the removal of the PRESSURES in the cerebrospinal, and the addition only of SUFFICIENT medication or medical properties as will PRODUCE an equal balance in system, so that the gastric juices do not become over acid nor over alkalin; so that the reactions throughout the whole of the digestive system - with the removal of pressures - will bring about a gradual readjustment, or a balancing of the whole of the nervous system as to remove these disorders, and we will find a near equal balance and a near normal body.
