1. FEM: Now, Mr. Cayce, you are going to sleep. (Pause) Now, Mr. Cayce, you are asleep, and all the organs of your body will function properly. You will please hear me and answer all of my questions. You have before you this afternoon the body of [5669], and the body is present in this room. Now, Mr. Cayce, I want you to go over this body from head to foot, and tell me all the physical ailments within this body, and also tell me the cure for the same, whatever trouble you may find; [5669], present in this room.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, the abnormal conditions that we find in this body have to do with the functioning of the organs themselves, and with specific conditions that exist in portions of the body. Now, these are the conditions that we find in this body, [5669], we are speaking of, present here in this room. The blood forces in this body we find show the existing conditions through hepatic circulation; that is the number of red blood corpuscles are in numbers less than they should be, as the condition as exists in this portion of the body gives the record of the conditions existing. The quality also of the hemoglobin is shown by this condition, for in this organ the deflection of circulation is sooner shown than in any other portion of the body, until the blood has become contaminated, as it were, and furnishes to the specific organ the condition expressed by the forces as shown in the blood supply here in the liver, where we find the condition as expressing the influence, the circulation and the digestive tract throughout in the stomach taken into consideration, for these all work together here, and shows the effect that this circulation in this condition has on the nervous system, and the flow of blood that comes at times to all the portions of the body, flooding, as it were, certain portions of the body. In the nervous system we find the cerebrospinal nervous system very good. The body is well balanced in its mental force, yet we find the sympathetic action of the nervous system carries impressions, as it were, to the brain centers themselves, faster or in better accord than the body would acknowledge

itself. That is, sympathetically the body takes in conditions throughout the system. The sensory organism of the whole body shows the effect the body gives off by this action of the nervous system. That is, the co-ordinating conditions that exist between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal nervous system. The nerves themselves - the centers that are causing, or that are involved in the specific condition existing causing at the time of the special flow of blood to portions of the body, are in obstruction as it were of the action of the nerves to the brain centers themselves, which is seated in the base of the pneumogastric, or a condition existing in the stomach itself here, for there we have the hardened condition about the lower orifice of the stomach that gives or shows the condition existing in the body. So that with the run down condition either of blood or nerve energy, of reaction from any portion of the functioning organs, the action of the pneumogastric becomes spasmodic. The condition as exists through the hepatic circulation is as expressed as we have given from the condition of the liver itself. Through that of the kidneys and throughout all the organs of the pelvis we have those that are very good, save at times we have too much load as it were given to the kidneys to throw off the impurities from the system. At such times there is some irritation through the urinary canal, and the body in consequence feels exceedingly tired through the lower extremities; the feet and the legs become heavy and dull. This is reflex, and is produced by the condition that exists throughout the portions of the body. These are the conditions that we find in this body here, [5669]. To relieve this body, or to give the proper equilibrium to this body, and to prevent the reaction of this condition on the system, we would first give that into the system that would give a perfect balance between the digestive organs and the clarification of the body, both through hepatic circulation and through the pulmonary organs themselves, so that we would create a new incentive to the blood forces itself. Then we would give the vibration necessary to the solar plexus centers as to give to the pneumogastric the same vibration in which the solar plexus, heart and brain forces vibrate. We would take into the system this as a tonic for the whole condition of the body, and for the blood forces, and to correct all the conditions throughout. Plain phosphate of soda, we would take 1/2 teaspoonful each morning for a period of three to five weeks; then rest from this for a week, and then take this again. When this is mixed or stirred together the water and the 1/2 teaspoonful

of phosphate of soda, we would add to that 5 drops of syrup of sarsaparilla, with 2 drops of Eucalyptus - that is oil of Eucalyptus with 1 drop of clarified oil of pine. This will only be used every other day; eucalyptus and oil of pine, while the sarsaparilla will be used with each dose taken. After the first week of taking these medicinal properties into the system, we would add the vibration at the 9th dorsal from batteries as made in this manner and form; to 1 1/2 gallons of rain water we would add:
Plain Charcoal...............1 pound, Blue Stone or Copper Sulphate...........1 pound, Sulphuric Acid C.P...........1 ounce, Zinc.......................1/2 ounce.
The batteries, or the poles, would both be of iron. To these poles would be attached small wires, that would be attached to one plate, that would be attached to the body for 1/2 hour or 30 minutes each evening until the medicinal properties are taken again into the system, and then rest from this. After the medicinal properties are taken again, then take the vibration to the body again from the same solution. After that renew once again, and we will find we have brought this body to an equilibrium to meet the needs of this condition and to prevent the return of these forces within this body here.
3. (Q) Mr. Cayce, how often do these spasmodic conditions occur with this body? (A) (Repeating question) Whenever the system has brought the conditions to bear on the pneumogastric center as stated here, the condition occurs in the body. Do this as we have given here to rid the conditions from the body. We are through.
4. Now, Mr. Cayce, you will forget all about this reading you have just given, and all the organs of your body will function properly. You are feeling fine. Now, you will wake up in two minutes feeling splendid and all right, and absolutely free from any headache.
