1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, the abnormal conditions as we find in this body, has to do with specific conditions as have existed in the body, and the effect as has been produced by the change in the conditions through circulation, through nerve force, and through the functioning of the organs, especially of the trunk portions of the body. Now, these are conditions as we find them at present in the body here, Mrs. [5675] we are speaking of: In the blood force in the body we find the body has not sufficient quantity of blood in the body, and we have a deep circulation rather than to a capillary circulation. The blood itself is impoverished by poor assimilation, and by the condition of both the organs that supply the blood force rebuilding incentives and the nerve as it causes the flow of the blood through the body. Hence the inability of the body to gain its strength properly after any exercise; that produces also the shortness of breath at times. The effect over the whole system becomes one of a debilitated body, not from improper or impurities of the blood, but the inability of the blood to furnish the incentives of a vital force to the body, as we will see through portions of the system and how it affects the various portions of the body. The white blood force is also deficient. Hence the inability to produce perfect coagulation in the system without tissue becoming involved, as we see through portions of the body here in the side where we have some lesions that have been formed here. In the nerve forces in the body, we find that the brain forces of the body are good.
2. (Q) Mr. Cayce, what other conditions do you find in this body? (A) We have them here. We have had an effect in the system that with the brain forces and with the whole system that has been enacted over the system - is getting the condition - changes - the brain has been benumbed - a deadening of the vasomotory nerve force and its effect on the brain - we will get the effects here. These are coming back to co-ordination so that we will have the proper incentives to all of the forces. The action of the brain center over the system to control within the system is very good. The cerebrospinal nervous system over the whole body, as we
5675-1 Page 2
find, there are ends of nerves that are involved with the conditions as have to do with making of distress to portions of the body. Whereas, we have given here where the adhesions through portions - where there was an operation here. The sympathetic nervous system, we find, is very good. The action and the co-ordination of the sympathetic to the cerebrospinal are good. The body continues to be supersensitive, though. The action of the sensory organism over the whole system co-ordinates well with the sympathetic system rather than with the cerebrospinal. The effect as this produces is that the body - that is, above the ordinary - may think of two things at once.
The functioning of the organs themselves, through the throat and larynx, there has been for some time a condition has been produced that causes a dryness to the throat and larynx at times - not a distinct condition but rather a re-vibration of the condition as produced in the nerve centers. Through the lung forces themselves we find the body very good. The clarification of the blood forces takes place in its normal force. The oxidization has not always been, nor is it always been [now], in perfect condition; yet at the present time is very good. Through the digestive tract, that is, the stomach itself proper, at the present time we have very good re-action from the nervous forces to the pneumogastric and the effect as it produces at present over the system. The effect as produced by the condition of the blood and the action as the brain force expressed over the blood forces - the spleen we find is smaller than ordinary. The action of the pancrean forces to produce that of the secretions necessary to carry on the digestive forces does not work to its proper condition, so that we have troubles at times through the digestive force. We have a rather lower intestinal indigestion than that through the stomach itself. So through the whole lower intestinal tract a tendency of the disorder of the bowels themselves, and the action of the foods as they are passed through these portions of the body. Through the functioning of the liver we find that the condition in the blood a tendency for both lobes to be engorged. The circulation through these is inclined to be deep. The effect is to produce the climbing sensation over the exterior portion to the higher force of blood supply to the trunk portion of the body, through the kidneys' reaction. The nerves in the pelvic region, especially those of the false or upper pelvis region, through that of the ileum plexus, show the signs of the conditions or troubles through - with which the body suffers
5675-1 Page 3
here at times. The nerves have not all formed their perfect unison so that the circulation carries naturally through the whole system in its perfect manner, overtax the kidneys at times, the secretion and excretory functions become above the normal. The effect of the emunctories there to create the proper excretions from the system does not function normally; produced by the same state as has been over the system. Yes, an operation was necessary at times here, wasn't there? The effect when the body recovers from this whole condition will be had for the whole body. We have not overcome all of the conditions either of the functioning to the brain forces, nor have the nerves and tissue formed to their perfect unison as yet.
The body should exercise itself, to a specific nature and character and kind, so that the ligaments and the tissue of the body may be brought to its perfect unison, and the circulation and the assimilation in the body so corrected as to produce more perfect building forces through the body to meet and resist the forces as thrown off and to produce perfect absorption through the body.
Then we would take into the system this:
Tincture of Valerian..........4 ounces, Bromide Potassium............20 grains, Iodide of Potassium...........3 grains, Elixir of Calisaya............2 ounces, Capsicum......................3 grains.
Sufficient simple syrup to make 11 ounces.
The dose would be teaspoonful, three times each day, about an hour before each meal.
Then make into pellets this:
Gum Camphor..................20 grains, Sulfate of Morphia............1 grain, Muriated Iron................30 grains.
Mix well, and make into pellets, 30 of them. One would be taken each evening.
The exercises to the body would be those to the trunk portion of the body, with the body lying down, first on the back and then on the face, and then exercise the body, with
5675-1 Page 4
the movements of the body, from the feet or heels to the head, to overcome the condition and to have the tissue and ligaments in the trunk portion of the body to come to a normal force and to relieve the pressure there; do that.
3. (Q) Mr. Cayce, what is the cause of the condition in the nose and in the left side? (A) Just from the condition as we have described here, through the sensory organism.
4. (Q) Are there any adhesions or obstructions in the intestinal tract? (A) We have given here that we had adhesions here. We would overcome these with these conditions we are to give, both with the exercises and the medicinal properties. They are to act with the blood forces and with the nerve forces in the body and rebuild to the system the resistive forces necessary to overcome these conditions. Do as we have outlined here.
5. (Q) And in that case a surgical operation will not be necessary, will it? (A) It will not if these are carried out as we have given here.
