1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [5683] - this we have had before. [No copy of earlier rdg. See 5683-1, Par. B1.]

2. Now, as we find, many changes have taken place in the physical functionings of the body since last we had same here. Some are for the betterment of conditions. In some we find there are not so many changes, save the natural change incident to the continued functioning - or continued lack of proper coordination. These having been varied at different periods would, from the pathological standpoint, become changes, while from the psychic and the elemental standpoint are not much changed.

3. As we find, there are specific conditions that may aid in bringing about a more perfect coordination through the physical and mental forces of the body. As there has been seen, there are those hindrances in the system that make for repressions in their positive activity to impulses in the glands' reaction to the system. These, as we find - as has been indicated, are produced by pressure that prevent their normal impulse of that received from the imaginative or the sensory system, or bother, that makes for those conditions that become - in their reaction - as incoordinate, from impulses of activity to the various portions, to the centers themselves that are to carry out impulse as received from the centers in the brain's reaction itself. Hence, as we find, while brain forces, blood supply, the activities of the system in the physical sense are abnormal, the reaction FROM the impulse received for activity - in its action to the exterior, or the expression - is repressed. Hence we find those reactions wherein, while the activity of the mental forces is normal, or ABOVE normal, that which will excite same to its activity is subjugated to the extent that - unless these receive some UNUSUAL impulse, as from exterior forces, or receive from those activities something that gives an extraordinary amount of stimuli for the reaction - inertia is the reaction in the system, and the tendency becomes that of lethargy to impulse FOR reaction.

5683-1 Page 2

The continuation of these, as we find, pathologically, comes from repressions that have existed by pressure on those impulses in the SYMPATHETIC, rather than the cerebrospinal, though their reactions are often to the cerebrospinal in the activity of a physical force - as well as, in a more latent manner, at periods the reaction is wholly from the sympathetic. So we have, from these conditions, the tendency at periods to be OVER active in the physical, that makes for ABNORMALCY in physical activity, physical reactions to portions of the system; and at others the opposite conditions, the physical becoming dormant, and the mental and impulsive becoming more prominent - or, that as may be ordinarily termed, the INVOLUNTARY becoming the VOLUNTARY reactions in the expressions of the imaginative or mental body.

4. These, in a pathological condition, as we find, are the repression in the 1st and 2nd cervical, or to a portion of the PHYSICAL activity of the glands in the base of the brain - or of that as makes for the activities through same.

5. Let's understand, now, these are through the GLANDS - NOT the ducts that are for the spiritual, or the manifestations of same, though these are aroused to their activity in abnormal manner at times through their reaction in the pineal.

6. In the action in the physical CENTERS of the body, we find these come from the lower portion of the centers that make for activity in the assimilating system, in the genitive organism, in the impulses for locomotion below the diaphragm - or at the 11th and 10th dorsal center, from which the solar plexus lower ganglia serve their functioning to the organs of the system. Hence the reactions producing indolency in the MOVEMENTS of body, the desire to seek rather those of an over sympathetic reaction - or at times the tendency arises that makes for contention, as to become antagonistic to suggestions. If we understand what's the relationship of those glands that make for these repressions in various portions of the system, and their activity to all the organism - especially of the sympathetic system, we find how - or why - these are at times antagonistic; why at other times the natural reaction would be seeking sympathy - and LIVING on same!

7. In meeting, then, the needs of these conditions in the first portion of applications, we will find there would be at least three DISTINCT variations in that as would make for a NORMALCY - but the normalcy may be brought about, if these are applied consistently, persistently; though there may be variations at times, when it would be hard to make the body

5683-1 Page 3

react. Not by force, not wholly by sympathy - but rather as by physical and pathological REASONING with the body; for it has exceptional reasons and reasoning powers at such periods when the reactions are to the centralization of impulse in brain's reaction.

8. First we would prepare as this: We would take Wild Ginseng 1 ounce, to 8 ounces of distilled water. We would reduce this body slow boiling to 6 ounces. Then, to this we would add (when this is strained, we would then add) as this: Tincture of Stillingia..............20 minims, Syrup of Rhubarb....................20 minims, Tincture, or Essence, of Indian Turnip...............2 minims, Alcohol..........................1 1/2 ounces. The dose of this would be half teaspoonful 3 times each day.

9. Now, the pathological effect of this upon the system is to react through the assimilating system to both the eliminating and assimilating ducts and glands of the body. These (save the Stillingia) are for a stimuli to the active forces of the ducts of the body. The Stillingia is as a sedentary action for the glands of digestion, or the lacteals, WITH those that will make for a better coordination of the mucomembranes in the intestines, that will clarify poisons from the body. (That's in the Syrup of Rhubarb, see?)

10. Then we would use the Radio-Active Appliance (plain). We would attach this in the afternoon when the body rests; preferably in the afternoon, than at night. The one anode (first attached) would be the 1st and 2nd cervical center, and the other anode (and attach the same way each time) to the 10th and 11th dorsal center - see? the plexus as becomes between these two. This treatment would be given each day from 20 to 30 minutes, with the body with the body lying down resting; and during the period make that affirmation to self, that: THERE WILL BE CREATED IN MY SYSTEM, THROUGH THE COORDINATION OF FUNCTIONINGS OF THOSE PORTIONS BEING AFFECTED BY THE LOW VIBRATIONS, THAT WHICH WILL MAKE COORDINATING OF THE WHOLE BODY.

11. Every other day, as the body rests in the evening - or when ready to retire, use the low electrical vibration, or the electrically driven vibrator, over the whole of the cerebrospinal system, from the base of the brain to the end of the spine; and occasionally following the brachial center to the tips of fingers, and the locomotary center to the lower portion of the limbs.

12. As for diet - not too much sweets, nor too much of those

that make for heaviness in the system; that is, prevent - as far as possible - foods becoming clogged in system; keeping the eliminations well through alimentary canal.

13. Ready for questions.

14. (Q) How may those desiring to assist this body best obtain the cooperation of the body in following this treatment? (A) This, as has been given, will require some persistence, some persuasive powers, in gentleness and in kindness, and with the REASONING of the body as respecting same. We will find that the body will have a tendency to adhere to these, then to leave them off - but be persistent in following these as given.
