1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now the abnormal conditions as we find within this body have to do with the functioning of organs and the effect that the improper or abnormal conditions have brought about in the general system, and it has had this effect as we find here:

2. The blood is very good throughout, it carrying, however, some of the effect, at the present time, of the conditions as exist in the intestinal tract causing some unpleasant conditions through other portions of the body, even to the capillary circulation, and its affect on the cuticle in the eliminating. There is a lack of the white blood forces, they being used, as it were, above the normal number for the lacerations that appear in portions of the system causing more in number to be the natural effect when in use, and the system does not create a sufficient number to care fully for the condition, else there would be an excess of this factor in the blood forces. The nerves as we find along the spine in their centers, we find there are some that give too much of a lax condition to portions of the body, while others are working just the opposite, so we have a body that, at times, feels a dull achy feeling, especially, through the lumbar and sacrum region. This shows in a lesion formed along the lower lumbar. The action of this same condition over the sensory system shows in the effect it has on the organs of the sensory organism. The organs themselves present a very good action in the functioning. We find through the lung force in the action of the hepatic circulation that it shows the condition as produced through the digestive forces, and its action through the blood force to the larynx and the bronchials at times, therefore, the body is easy to take congestion and has at times an extra amount of secretions as given, especially, to the nostrils, you see. This is a reflex condition, and local treatments, either by suggestion or by the physical, only act as temporary relief. We must reach the seat of the trouble if we would be relieved entirely. Through the stomach itself, we find the pepsins or peptones as acting with the system to produce the lactic fluids, show there is a lack of this, so through the

esophagus, we find the signs of the first disturbance in digestive forces, also, in the pyloric end from which the impressions are reached through the pneumogastric, and they give off with these impressions the affect that it has had between the pneumogastric and the organs of the respiratory system. In this, the pyloric end, we find the lacerations produced by the over amount of the hydrochloric forces, hence the body suffers through indigestion, for throughout the intestinal tract, that is, of the upper portion of the intestinal tract where the Peyerian [Peyers] glands assist in the digestion that causes then this trouble with this portion of the body, constipation and over-taxation at times to the rest of the viscera, some inflammation is experienced through the kidneys or the organs of the pelvis, overtaxed nervous strain. Much of it produced from the lack of imperfect assimilation and imperfect distribution of forces in the system.

3. To bring the proper conditions to this body, we would give this in the system for the physical conditions existing:

4. To four pints of rain water, we would add eight ounces of sage, dried. This should be simmered or steeped until the quantity is reduced to two pints. To this we would add six ounces of cane sugar, first dissolved, that is the sugar, in warm water before added to this solution, then strain, then add while warm six ounces of gin and fifteen grains of Ambergris, dissolved in one ounce of grain alcohol. Add to this three drams of cinnamon bark, not the ground. Shake the solution before each dose is taken, which would be half an hour before meals and would be a tablespoonful. The diet - let the body eat what it desires but more regular than it has been accustomed to heretofore, you see, in some instances. Do not be afraid to eat things, but do not eat over amounts - not too much sweets, but if the body calls for sweets, eat sweets, see.

5. Do this and by the time the second quantity, two quarts, have been taken, this body will be rid of these conditions. Do that.

6. (Q) Mr. Cayce, is this body getting plenty of proteins? (A) Not sufficient. We are giving the diet as the body calls for it, see. The body has hindered itself by finding things disagreeing. With these properties as given, the body could digest "nails" if they were taken, you see.
